“We chose this restaurant randomly. The parking lot had one car and there was one patron. It was clean and we were greeted with warm welcomes which is extremely important to me. The restroom was spotless and the salsa bar was very clean and appetizing. The Birria ramen was excellent as I DO NOT like spicy foods. It was flavorful without the heat. My friend was able to make his enchiladas vegetarian by choosing potatoes as the filling and he was also pleased. I’m not a food critic or a content creator. Just a girl that likes flavorful, high quality and affordable food. According to the receipt we were serviced by Victor. This place deserves a great review. Thank you for a great lunch experience!“

We decided to give it a try, and the service was excellent—helpful and attentive staff. I sampled four different tacos, all of which were delicious, and the margaritas were fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a great time, and I’d consider returning to explore more of the menu.“

This restaurant is my mom's favorite (she and her bestie are regulars), and I was lucky enough to catch them before they left so I could place a to-go order. My go-to test at any Mexican restaurant is the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (garlic butter shrimp), and I was thrilled to see it on the menu here. Ordering takeout is always a gamble since you're not at the restaurant if something isn't right but I believe quality should be consistent whether dining in or taking food to go. Thankfully, this place delivered in every way. The shrimp were succulent, large, not skimpy, and cooked perfectly. The garlic butter was rich and flavorful without being overpowering, and the sautéed onions balanced it all out. Even the refried beans stood out (something many places surprisingly get wrong). The rice was fairly standard...on the drier side but when mixed with the beans and that delicious garlic butter from the shrimp, it turned into a whole new level of flavor. That's how I made my burritos (that's how I eat this plate, I have to wrap it all up in a flour tortilla. Let me tell you, it was absolute magic! Portions were generous, I could tell the meal was thoughtfully prepared, and every bite was pure satisfaction. The only downside was the styrofoam packaging (I'm not a fan of that), but it didn't take away from how incredible the food itself was. This restaurant easily earns my seal of approval. I'll definitely be ordering from here again because when I say the food was amazing with a capital A, I mean it!“

“We have been searching high and low for excellent Mexican food and we finally found it with Taqueria Roberto Jr!! The food was flavorful, the meats were well cooked and well seasoned. The crispy tacos were DELICIOUS! Often, taqueria food can be too heavy, but this food tasted super fresh! We were a bit disappointed that we requested sides of salsa with our delivery meal and did not receive any, but honestly, the meal was so superb that it made up for it. We will definitely order again!“

“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. Ordered a wet (green) jumbo burrito with pollo asada. Massive burrito. Ingredients tasted fresh. Wet sauce had great flavor. The chips at the salsa bar taste fresh and light. Wide variety of delicious salsa.

Got the Jumbo Burrito, Al Pastor. This is a new favorite spot but unfortunately not close to where I live. Great portions and great flavor for the price. What more can you ask for? I came because I saw a review that it’s al pastor cooked legit off the trompo. I believe it, but did not confirm.

These days with street food prices at almost the same rate, might as well go somewhere that’s regulated, food safe, and provides nice service and atmosphere. $13.99 before tax for jumbo super burrito.“

“My family and I have had the most wonderful experiences at Vallejo's. The atmosphere for dining is one of the best. The staff are so kind, and the owners go out of their way to speak to their customers. When my father passed away in 2018, the Vallejo's family surprised us with catering at his funeral. They fed over 500 people, and didn't charge our family one penny for the food. They have also catered for various family functions, including graduation events. The food is amazing and is definitely worth trying.“

“Stopped there for breakfast and had a breakfast burrito loaded with ham,eggs,bean,cheese and a toasted flour tortilla. My significant other had 2 chicken taco's with rice and a squirrel. the condiment bar had every sauce you could think of. The restaurant was spotless and we were great and served in very short order. “10/10 Recommend. Our first time in was Saturday night and we were a bit nervous prior, will the food be good? Will it be a long wait for food? How will the drinks be? Food was absolutely perfect and was out very quickly. Drinks were delicious and refreshing. Very family friendly environment. We will for sure be back and highly recommended going. The tortillas where so fresh, beans were like no other I've had and the portion size was perfect. Salsas were great along with friendly service. We are definitely coming back.“
