Food was served in a timely manner as well , that being that it was very busy . We enjoyed our visit and food at El Rinconsito De Jalisco and we will be back! Food portions are a good size and prices are reasonable.“

“I’ve been here four times now! The usual pop up food stand - excellent meat. This one has been here for a few months but now there is another nearby as well. Tacos $3 and rice and beans are $5. They have some unique meat options like tripa and buche and cabeza. They speak English too. You can choose your own toppings and salsa. No tables and chairs to sit on though so I just sit in my car. I’ll keep coming back!“

“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. I gained over 50lbs eating their food because it was the best around. Over the past 25-30years they’ve been in business, I’ve made the trek to Sacramento to see the family and eat their amazing food multiple times. “Generous portions, perfectly cooked shrimp, and flavors that hit every note, pure magic! This restaurant is my mom's favorite (she and her bestie are regulars), and I was lucky enough to catch them before they left so I could place a to-go order. My go-to test at any Mexican restaurant is the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (garlic butter shrimp), and I was thrilled to see it on the menu here. Ordering takeout is always a gamble since you're not at the restaurant if something isn't right but I believe quality should be consistent whether dining in or taking food to go. Thankfully, this place delivered in every way. The shrimp were succulent, large, not skimpy, and cooked perfectly. The garlic butter was rich and flavorful without being overpowering, and the sautéed onions balanced it all out. Even the refried beans stood out (something many places surprisingly get wrong). The rice was fairly standard...on the drier side but when mixed with the beans and that delicious garlic butter from the shrimp, it turned into a whole new level of flavor. That's how I made my burritos (that's how I eat this plate, I have to wrap it all up in a flour tortilla. Let me tell you, it was absolute magic! Portions were generous, I could tell the meal was thoughtfully prepared, and every bite was pure satisfaction. The only downside was the styrofoam packaging (I'm not a fan of that), but it didn't take away from how incredible the food itself was. This restaurant easily earns my seal of approval. I'll definitely be ordering from here again because when I say the food was amazing with a capital A, I mean it!“

“Our group of eight was searching for a sit-down Mexican restaurant with an open kitchen after 9 PM and found Jalapeños. We decided to give it a try, and the service was excellent—helpful and attentive staff. I sampled four different tacos, all of which were delicious, and the margaritas were fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a great time, and I’d consider returning to explore more of the menu.“

I often get the child's cheeseburger upgraded with everything on it and the fries score big time. Their self serve chips and salsas are also Sylvia's favorites and she'll sometimes just get chips to go, reasonably priced at $2.“

“WOW!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Cannot wait to come back! Everything was EXCELLENT!!! FOR SERVICE THE FOOD IN THE ATMOSPHERE 10/10!! They give you fresh fruit and freshly made conchas when you sit down. We ordered guacamole with chicharrones and the lengua ranchera was to die for! My drink came in a ceramic pig. It was the cutest drink I've ever had! Definitely recommend this place!!

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant before I even had my kids… this place is family owned and ran! From the grandparents starting it to the daughter doing it and now her kids are doing it!!! The food is always good here there are never off days the restaurant has not changed any flavors over the many years it’s the original taste I got when I started eating here 20 years ago .. the vibe is fantastic with the music playing and the full bar in the back and party room sometimes they have a mariachi band playing this place is good for seniors because of the fair prices and middle age people with thier family’s.. Kids are treated like family and the experience is just wonderful!! Enjoy the colorful decorations and make some great friends that become family💚 you will be back I promise you!!
