I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis....read full review

Based on the reviews, Taquería Rincon Alteño is a top notch, authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is amazing with plenty of options, including the Asada combo plate, flautas, al pastor soft tacos, burrito (al pastor), fish tacos, taco salad, and carnitas. The tacos are delicious and packed with meat, and the menudo is on point. They just added Tripas tacos. The prices are great, especially on Taco Tuesday when tacos are only $1.50 each. The staff is very attentive and provides a good customer service experience. The restaurant is a very good little hole in the wall with a clean and comfortable dining room. The atmosphere feels genuine and well preserved, adding to the authentic charm. One recent change is that while there are several choices of salsa for the tortilla chips, customers now have to pay for pico de gallo.
