El Rincon | Mexican Food is a hidden gem with consistently delicious food. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and provides great service. The food is served fresh and hot, with a perfect symphony of flavor. The salsa is amazing, any of them, and the green sauce has delicious roasted flavors. The building is a little small, but there is indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a little hard to find. Specific meals mentioned include the breakfast burrito, California burrito, Asada taco, carnita taco, shrimp quesadilla, and a taco plate with Al pastor, rice, and bean soup. The carnita taco is the best thing, best chased down with a nice cold Mexican lager. El Rincon also caters work lunches, with food ready on time, expertly packed, delicious, and affordable. A Mexican food critic gives it a 5-star rating. El Rincon is dubbed the Best Burritos in Sacramento.
