“I would argue this is probably the best Mexican food around sacramento. Sometimes a bit pricy and depends on who is cooking, but always above par.I do wish the atmosphere was a bit more "california" you know, beaches surfing, redwoods, etc.. just because is called "California" Burrito, not jalisco burrito :)“
“Just moved to the neighborhood and we LOVE this spot!!! Margaritas are great and fairly priced. Chips and salsa are delicious, as is the guac. Get the chicken street taco platter or the burrito. Patio is lovely. Service is pretty slow but SUPER friendly people working here. We could go here once a week and likely will!“
“First time here and I was not disappointed. So many things looked great but I stuck with the reliable super-burrito. Even if a place sucks, they aren't that bad. But this burrito was perfect! The staff was so nice. The environment is busy but not crazy. I cannot wait to come back into town to try other menu items!“
“We love this hamburger stand. It has been around for 60 years, and it is easy to see why. Great food and service. They recently updated the seating area, and it looks really nice. The only problem is they do not have a restroom, so don't drink your soda very fast! They do get very busy sometimes, so expect to wait a few minutes for your food.“
“It's a FOOD TRUCK NOT A RESTAURANTE! ? Food is awesome and plenty of it at a great price. Great customer service. I should eat here more often cause it's far healthier than fast food and costs less.Vegetarian options: Just make your request !Kid-friendliness: Even picky kids will eat the meat and tortillas ?Parking: Open spaceWheelchair accessibility: Not paved and a bit dusty but, you can easily get around and up to the window. They'll happily help you though.Dietary restrictions: Just mention your need.“
“I had some Beria tacos that were different and good for the dipping sauce it was actually soup with rice and meet . I normally would be all about he tacos but tonight the soup just hit right .Definitely would try again .Also the tacos were bigger than I thought and had lots of meat“
“It was a rainy overcast morning, on my way to work day. I usually stop at Starbucks off the freeway but I wanted something spicy instead. I have driven by El Rancheros many times, so on this morning I decided to try this restaurant!! My order was quickly taken and prepared. I ordered Huevos Rancheros. At work I opened up the take out container and was very happy to see the meal!!!! Delicious bean and rice!!! The rolled flour tortillas were still hot!!!! Then I dove into the eggs topped with a delicious salsa/sauce!!!! This meal was so yummy!!!! I will definitely go back to try other menu items!!!!“
“Our visit here last night was great the service was great, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and comfortable. Our food was ordered and to us in a very short amount of time, the price in budget and didn't disappoint Loved everything!Overall we really enjoyed our visit and experience at the restaurant and can't wait to come back again and try more of the great authentic food!Thank you!“

Close to the hotel.Wonderful meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entrance wide doors . Chairs only around tables.“
“First time here and I've lived in west sac for over 4yrs long story short this breakfast burrito is Amazing!!!! The beans OMG I'm not even trying to sound dramatic. Only thing it tuck like 30/35mins to get my 1 burrito. Idk if they were low staff so I don't wanna judge too much. If you're going for your lunch break or break period probably order ahead of time. The area is fine got two tables if you want to eat outside. I will be back to try something else. Oh and the lady was super nice too!“
“I'm hooked on their burritos both breakfast and lunch/dinner. Always delicious food. If you phone in your order you can use the drive-thru to pick up. The people are so friendly. I would recommend Oscar's it will satisfy your hunger in a tasty way.“
“It was an excellent day. Don Ramón is an excellent person, the mature lady who prepares las Tortillas is an Angel. The people who run the business like Don Ramón and his family has made this business successful. The best food and fresh made Tortillas. That was the best Sunday ever. I wish the best to the business owners and their families. We need more people like them. It is the time for Don Ramón to work and for the others to enjoy life.“
“This place was given a really good recommendation. I was a bit disappointed in how soggy the burrito was. Literally falling apart at the bottom and leaking, had the eat the second half with a fork as it dropped everywhere. The flavor was great but probably wouldn't get the same thing as it wasn't fun rushing to eat something that was self destructing. Make sure to eat it fast because waiting a few minutes ruins the food.“
“Delicious! We got two taco plates. The rice and beans are just what you want, no weird flavors, just basic and flavorful and yummy. Chips and salsa were great. I loved the mild salsa--doesn't taste like tomatoes, doesn't have weird flavors, just good salsa. We got the carnitas, carne asada, and Al pastor. Omg the carnitas, they were crispy and delicious! I'm coming back just for the carnitas. The others were good too. If you want good, classic food I would 100% go here.“
“Amazing tortas, bread and freshly made juices! I've been searching for a place that gives me the taste of Mexico and I have found it! In addition, the customer service is beyond exceptional! I highly recommend stopping by this bakery if you're in the West Sacramento area!“
“WHERE DO ALL THE LOCALS GO? 5th Star for the great tequila selection as we decided on Mexican because our dinner was on National Margarita Day. Those who know me will be saying "That Terry.... Any Excuse for a good adult beverage". And you know what? They are correct. Here is my story: Altos Cantina was selected as it was in good proximity to our hotel and convenient enough for the Sacto folk joining us. Altos is a local establishment; parking plentiful and atmosphere friendly and comfortable. They also have patio dining which would be great in the spring and summer. Service is excellent from the moment you walk in to the Establishment. Now about the food. Be careful not to over order as portions are HUGE. Guacamole made fresh on each order. Tortilla chips are also home made. Be sure to try the double fried french fries nachos. A definite repeat for me next time I'm there.“
