“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.”

“The owner was friendly and food was great. Love a good cafe in an office building. The Castel burrito was flavorful and a good portion. Spicy olive oil was tasty and mild. Regret not adding hot sauce but wanted to try it pure. Also a really good espresso shot. Definitely will go again when I’m out this way. Not too much seating but it was a nice day to eat standing outside at the truck.”

“I seriously cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were greated by a very friendly man who offered suggestions on the menu. He pleasantly asked if we were happy with our food. The food is AMAZING. I got a gyro wrap, my husband got a gyro platter. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. My husband eats more food then you could imagine and it made him stuffed while not sacrificing quality or flavor. The meat just melted in your mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We got two baklavas and I cannot even explain how good they are.”

“Came here for the first time and ordered the crazy fries, bulgolgi beef, and tonkatsu special - everything was delicious! The crazy fries were amazing (already half finished in the photo, so a hefty portion size) and the bulgolgi came with pickled radish (not pictured), salad, rice, and pickled cucumbers. Both dishes came with miso soup. Loved the food, and the chef and waitress were both very sweet! Highly recommend!”

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. I just feel bad I waited so long to write this. I will continue to rave about OTP to anyone who will listen and I will be back again soon. Thank you OTP Roseville.”

“If we want a giant delicious burrito at any time of day or night, Carolina's is where we come.
It's kind of weird eating in the actual restaurant, but hardly anyone does anyway.

The real magic of Carolina's is the exceptional burritos ordered from your car in the drive-thru.

Their Al Pastor is great.
Their 24 hours a day breakfast burritos are awesome.
Their beans are delicious.
And they are the only Mexican place in our whole area that knows how to actually do custom orders and get it right the first time.

Sometimes, when we are getting into town super late, driving down Douglas toward our house, we get a breakfast burrito here.

And the fact that they are only 200 feet away from Baker Ben's Donuts (another Roseville institution that's open day or night) makes this a double stop if it is past 1 AM and you don't wanna go home but you're really hungry!

“I went to the Duncan Donuts on Foothills blvd today to try the new hummus & avocado toast. First I thought they forgot to put the tomatoes on, so I went in to have it fixed. The young man I spoke with was very polite and went right away to fix it. While I was waiting I looked at the menu & realized that I had to ask for the tomatoes & that it cost more. They gave them to me without charge. The toast was delicious, especially the hummus toast. The tomatoes are definitely worth any additional price. I am very pleased with how well I was treated despite the mistake being mine.”

“Squeeze Inn has the best burgers in town and honestly, they should be considered one of the best burgers in the USA.

Every time I stop by, I see the same people working, and I love that it is a true family owned local business. As a business owner myself, I really appreciate seeing that kind of consistency, pride, and hard work.

The burgers are incredible. The meat always tastes fresh and is cooked perfectly, the cheese skirt is truly one of a kind, and the produce is always crisp and fresh. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.

“Visited Khobkoon on a holiday Monday for lunch. The restaurant sits in a strip mall/shopping center next to an Indian food restaurant. There were only two other tables with customers when we arrived, but I don’t hold that against them… it was lunchtime on Memorial Day.

The restaurant is on the smaller side, but doesn’t lack in personality. Darker tones and decor do feel authentic. Was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I would suspect is the owner. He was very courteous and seated us right away.

We were given their lunch menu, which appears to restrict many options available on their dinner menu (viewed it online). No big deal, it is lunch after all.

After reviewing the menu, we ordered a garden salad, Pad See-Ew with chicken and Kai Pad Kee Mao with chicken. Both entries were asked to be made with spicy level.

The salad came quickly and we were pleasantly surprised at the size. The salad comes with your typical iceberg lettuce, carrots, some red onion, sliced fresh tomatoes and sliced cucumber. The dressing is a Thai peanut style dressing, which you could see bits of peanuts in. It was also topped with some sort of fried topping, not sure entirely what it was. All of the produce was crisp and clearly fresh. However, while everything else was nice and cold, the dressing was warm… and I don’t mean like room temperature warm. Quite frankly, it was not a pleasant combination on a salad. The dressing itself tasted fine, but we felt it was muted a bit. Didn’t have that usual Thai peanut dressing tang to it. Nonetheless, it was fine.

The entries arrived at the same time (which isn’t always the case at Thai restaurants, so kudos). Our immediate reaction was… wow, this actually has some good spice to it. Far too often when I ask for spicy, I would get something that barely passes for black pepper spice. This was a refreshing change, actually spicy.

The Pad See Ew was good, the noodles cooked well (but I have to call out found several chunks that were stuck together), the vegetables and chicken were also cooked well, the flavor was good, but I would again argue a bit muted. The Kai Pad Kee Mao was really good, the rice was cooked perfectly and you could still get that fragrant jasmine rice flavor. Once again, the spice level was on point. My biggest wish here was just more vegetables.

While I have some critiques on the food, the service was 100%. We were warmly greeted, had fun conversation with the owner, the atmosphere is pleasant, and overall just a good experience.

“Every night since i moved away from Roseville... I am haunted by the chili verde burrito and the table salsa. NOBODY else does a burrito like they do, and if you eat here, you will forever be cursed with the hunger. Ive had countless nights where i wake up screaming because i know in my soul I dont have access to Carmelitas anymore. This review is based on the last time i had the ability to eat there, 2010-2014. God has forsaken me. There must be no more room in hell, as the Devil walks on earth to torment my soul since 2015. Also the salsa is a top 5 all timers of california. not really spicy but heavy of the flavor. It'll make your local taco truck commit seppuku. As will i shortly as ive dishonored my bloodline by not being able to move back, therefore never being able to bless my children with this life changing burrito. I dont deserve their forgiveness.”

“I wish I took a picture of my avocado toast but I was hungry.. I've always had plates that feature pickled onions, remove them but I was feeling adventurous about food so I left them. My GOD!! Sooooo good, with the generous avocado, thick slice of fresh bread, topped with micro greens and candied bacon 🥓. It was truly the perfect amount of everything and I'm so glad we stopped here while in Roseville. Typically I find that potatoes served at breakfast places are super bland, but the seasoning on these were chef's kiss. 🤌🤤

Need to add sauce for more flavor Fried 'egg' rolls - The veggies are cooked perfectly and so good with chilli sauce Jackfruit buns - The jackfruit looks just like shredded beef. The sauce is amazing BB burger - good size for the price. Could use more fries. The fries are cooked well Didn't like: Fresh rolls - the raw veggies taste weird and have an odd texture with this type of wrap and sauce. I think something like raw cucumber and tomato would make more sense Milk teas - there is a lot to be desired for taste and texture. Both the matcha and taro were bland and watery. For over $5 a drink, I expected more creaminess and matcha flavor.”

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. I just feel bad I waited so long to write this. I will continue to rave about OTP to anyone who will listen and I will be back again soon. Thank you OTP Roseville.”

I meet the nicest people I had the best brisket sandwich I’ve had in years and the freshest crunchiest coleslaw. I walked out there one happy camper. Can’t wait to return.”

“What an amazing find! This South Korean bakery was such a pleasant surprise. One person in our group had previously visited both the Cupertino location and another location outside the country, so we knew we were in for something special. We later discovered that they have more than 1,740 locations worldwide!

We tried a combination of savory and sweet treats, and everything was so delicious that we bought even more to bring home to our family. We each selected a different flavor chocolate, vanilla, and lemon, and the lemon was our group’s favorite.

The drink menu also looked very interesting, especially the mocha options, but we were simply too full to try one. This is definitely a place we’ll visit again, and next time, we’ll make sure to save room for the drinks!”

I got the Matcha Cafe which is a mix of matcha and coffee. It was really good! The matcha and coffee flavor was present, but neither one was very overpowering the other. My friends tried two of the other matcha drinks and they were raving about them too. I would love to come back and try out the other drinks the next time we do a road trip to Roseville!”
