“I just had to share my experience today. I LOVE baker Ben’s, I’ve always loved it, best donuts around the Roseville area hands down. Today was my husbands birthday and he loves raspberry filled powdered donuts, only problem is you can’t find them anywhere, since baker Ben’s makes a raspberry filled donut that’s glazed I had asked if they wouldn’t mind rolling a few of them in powdered sugar for me so I could surprise my husband with them and the lovely little old lady who works there told the guy who rang me up to do it for me. “Amazed!! And grateful!! Ordered a dozen regular assorted on-line. Got there a couple minutes later (was in the parking lot). They would start the order but did I also order the ‘birthday’ dozen for a $1? I hadn’t, but decided to. The manager said they would be free. Great! Then they said, “we did receive your order and have made it…would you like 3 dozen?” For sure!! Just got back from a week of camping…what a great treat. I dropped off a dozen to my brother and his family and another for our daughter and us to share one more dozen to give away! I LOVE DONUTS!! But… Thank you Krispy Kreme!“

“I went to the Duncan Donuts on Foothills blvd today to try the new hummus & avocado toast. First I thought they forgot to put the tomatoes on, so I went in to have it fixed. The young man I spoke with was very polite and went right away to fix it. While I was waiting I looked at the menu & realized that I had to ask for the tomatoes & that it cost more. They gave them to me without charge. The toast was delicious, especially the hummus toast. The tomatoes are definitely worth any additional price. I am very pleased with how well I was treated despite the mistake being mine.“

“I have always LOVED Marie's donuts. The donuts are much smaller now (they look like Krispy cream size) Everything is very old inside, but most take their donuts and leave. Staff is OK. Sometimes they look they had a hard night. Sometimes nobody is at the counter when you walk in. My donut was a bit dry, which was unusual. The taste is still good. It's still the only donuts place I like. You won't find cereal or pretzels on your donuts, here. Just good tasting regular/old fashioned donuts and several flavors.“

“Went there today to get 2 dozen donuts to treat the nurses and asked the lady if they had any good deals for me. She kindly said she would add some extra donuts, and I was already so happy and grateful.
To my surprise, she came back with a HUGE box of mini donuts! I was honestly shocked, amazed, and so humbled by her generosity. Such sweet, kind, and open-hearted people!

“I grew up in the neighborhood behind Bill’s, and they fueled the best mornings of my childhood. The people there are so kind and generous, and the donuts are soooooo good. Nothing beats showing up to school with a Bill’s box, teachers and friends go crazy, and it’s cheap!! These days I’m in San Diego, but I still can’t stop thinking about Bill’s, nothing compares. I will always be grateful for a childhood full of donut holes, maple bars, cake donuts, etc. Man I miss the best donut shop in the world!! “Good morning I just patronized this and it was unacceptable 😡 they had very few donuts and a lot of excuses which as a customer that has been going to this donut shop for years is irritating at best. It wasn’t like this before the owners retired and left the business to their kids and grandkids. This used to be the best donut shop in north Sacramento. The donuts taste day old. I went a time before a few weeks ago and I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the eggs tasted mushy and uncooked. The owners should have shut the business down when they retired because with their kids and grandkids running the business they will be out of business in a year to a year in a half if they don’t get it together back to the standards of the owners that retired. I hate to say this but don’t patronize this business.“

“It is a very old school and simple donut shop. There are no huge frills or super fancy decorations inside. You go there and places like it because you just want to grab your sugar rush circle and get out. I come to this one and get for sports (snack duties) and every time my kids want a treat. Owner and lady working is not rude if you speak and are respectful and polite to her. Most people expect more than what this place is actually there for. If you want social media and frills then it’s not the spot. If you want to grab your sugar circle and go about your day then boom this could be one of your spots.“

“Whenever my husband has gone to this place, well before closing, they are out of donuts. I went there for my first time today at 10:00am. The family that sat around the table were kind, but how on earth does a business like this stay open? 10:00 in the morning, opened until 2:00pn, and out of all donuts. The lady there was so nice and let me try a matcha drink that was very tasty. they have an excellent menu of drinks and some baked goods that are health conscious and good for diabetics and Paleo type diets.
