“Went there today to get 2 dozen donuts to treat the nurses and asked the lady if they had any good deals for me. She kindly said she would add some extra donuts, and I was already so happy and grateful.
To my surprise, she came back with a HUGE box of mini donuts! I was honestly shocked, amazed, and so humbled by her generosity. Such sweet, kind, and open-hearted people!
It’s so wonderful to support a small family-owned business that not only has delicious donuts but also such a big heart and genuinely kind attitude.

I’ve had their old fashioned maple donut, glaze donut with sprinkles, cinnamon roll, apple fritter, old fashioned glaze, and buttermilk bar and they were all good. They’re sized and priced well. “I have always LOVED Marie's donuts. The donuts are much smaller now (they look like Krispy cream size) Everything is very old inside, but most take their donuts and leave. Staff is OK. Sometimes they look they had a hard night. Sometimes nobody is at the counter when you walk in. My donut was a bit dry, which was unusual. The taste is still good. It's still the only donuts place I like. You won't find cereal or pretzels on your donuts, here. Just good tasting regular/old fashioned donuts and several flavors.“

“Best donut I've had in a long time. I used to live nearby but moved away. I grew up on this donut shop. I was back visiting and I stopped for a donut. A simple glazed donut. “Good morning I just patronized this and it was unacceptable 😡 they had very few donuts and a lot of excuses which as a customer that has been going to this donut shop for years is irritating at best. It wasn’t like this before the owners retired and left the business to their kids and grandkids. This used to be the best donut shop in north Sacramento. The donuts taste day old. I went a time before a few weeks ago and I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the eggs tasted mushy and uncooked. The owners should have shut the business down when they retired because with their kids and grandkids running the business they will be out of business in a year to a year in a half if they don’t get it together back to the standards of the owners that retired. I hate to say this but don’t patronize this business.“
