“The original Donut shop in Elk Grove and still the best in EG and perhaps in the Nation. Never have I ever had a better donut. Fresh, fluffy and perfect sweetness (not overly sweet like others, nor greasy like others). Customer service is always kind and attentive!“
“I live in Sacramento, but come to the Elk Grove area often and have tried a few different donut shops, but there haven't really been any that have stood out...until Elk Grove Donuts! My daughter and I like to pick up donuts when we are headed over to see my parents. She loves their glazed donuts and glazed donut holes, and I am obsessed with their maple old fashioned donuts! It doesn't matter if it's a weekday or a weekend, they are usually always busy. If you go into the store, you will most likely be waiting in a line, but I promise you, it's worth the wait! You can also place an order on DoorDash, which we will occasionally do. However, if the store is very busy, they may not accept the order. Either way, if you're in the area, give them a try - they also have breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and other drinks!“
“This place is close and they have some amazing donuts. I was in the mood for an apple fritter and they didn't disappoint. They have three car spots and you pull into the driveway. Easy access. I pulled right in and got my donuts. It was almost 7 in the morning and the case was full of donuts already. I love old fashion and got both glazed and chocolate covered. The wife loves plain glazed donuts so included that to. Quick and close and all fresh. I think the place is Asian owned and operated too.“
“Always have the best donuts around. And if you haven't tried it yet their breakfast sandwiches are huge and really good. The hot chocolate is great. And the coffed ain't bad either. I have never had an unpleasant experience . They will ream fill almost anything if you just ask..so give them a try in the morning.“
“More free food for me. It's been donuts every day for three days now. I'm not complaining but the scales not being very nice in the meantime. Someone kind enough to feed our sugar addiction on our team brought these lovely thingies this morning and I had a try of a couple. These are nice and fresh, no complaints from me. Donuts are donuts but they're not stale or bad so I say five stars. Old fashioned and crumb were delicious and they all got eated so definitely worth whatever they cost. As you can see some were gone already by the time I finally decided to get one. Thank God for free donuts on a Sunday.“
“This marks my second visit to this establishment after a considerable interval. While the shop is easily noticeable from the street, the actual entrance is situated in an unconventional corner. On a chilly, rainy day, I treated my children to donuts. My daughter opted for mini donut holes, while my son selected donuts adorned with sprinkles. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their choices. It's worth noting that credit card transactions incur a fee of $0.40. The quality of their donuts is exceptional. Whether you're seeking a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon indulgence, they have assorted donuts to savor the sweetness palette.“
“5 stars for the bread. Service could’ve been friendlier for my first time going there, came all the way from Stockton. But I was just there for the bread. 5 stars either way just off the bread alone. Also tried the jalapeño and cheese bread (forgot the exact name), and it was delicious. Brought some staxx for my friends and they absolutely loved it!“
“Great family owned business. Super friendly and good prices. It was nice to see a family hanging out there having coffee and donuts. Their apple fritter was amazing to the last bite. My absolute favorite. The latte was strong and kept me going all day. I will be back to try more donuts.“
“Delicious donuts and terrific service! Some of my favorite things about Marie's is that they're open late, the sugar donuts are delicious, they take phone orders, and the staff are friendly (this is probably my favorite thing - seeing the friendly faces).“
“Now my family and I become regular customers here. They have very goods donut and pastries. Ham and cheese jalapeño croissant is a bomb. I can eat every day. The service always fast and friendly. They have tables to sit down and they don't mind or charge for refill the coffee which is another five stars.“
“Since my kids were in elementary we have gone here before I dropped them off to school. Now that their in college it still brings them back memories. The owners of this shop are beautiful down to earth people. They have a loyal customer for life.“
“I stopped by this donut shop to get donuts for a staff meeting, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. The donuts were soft, fresh, and delicious! I will definitely drive an extra 15 minutes for their donuts. They are that good! I arrived at 6:30 am and the place was packed. Thank you for serving fresh food. I brought the extra donuts to my kids, and they too shared how delicious the donuts are. I definitely recommend this donut shop.“
“Daily fresh made donuts with good variety and decent beverage selection, including fresh coffee and good creamers. Seven days a week, this couple is in there, making a fresh batch. My favorite is the old fashioned donuts. Dependably good every time.“

“Wow! I have not had a better doughnut in my entire life! I ate 2 of the strawberry cream doughnuts before I even got home! It does a doughnut like no other I have ever tasted. Blows Kk out of the water! I highly recommend going here, you won't be disappointed, well maybe... because you might eat too many!“
“Nice local donut place in Elk Grove. Tried the cinnamon roll and a few other donuts. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Still haven't found an establishment that sells a glazed and frosted donut. It's one or the other but never both. Why can't we get both!?! The apple fritter looked good, I'll have to try that one next time.“
“I came here this morning, there was 1 lady working with about 4 customers, me included. I grabbed a couple danishes, which were great. I love the location relative to the South Sacramento working areas, but I imagine this place CAN get busy and increase your wait if only one worker is present. I don't know if another works along side the lady. I was patient but it did take it me a second to get my order in, and she was hastey trying to get to me. Give this place a try. They have like 3 or 4 different danishes, strawberry, blue berry, + others“
“As a mochidonut lover, this is one of my favorite spots! I like how there are staple flavors that are (mostly) always available, then weekly/seasonally rotating ones. Each time I've gone, the dough is consistent--nice & chewy, distinguishing it from the traditional American donut--and there are flavors like the powdered sugar that aren't too sweet for those who don't have an overly sweet taste. The black sesame and matcha are among my absolute favorites. The only thing I would critique is the service can be spotty, especially because you order at the kiosk but need to follow up at the counter if you order donuts. Sometimes there would be no one at the counter, and I've had experiences where the service isn't clear (they gave me my donuts and said have a nice day but didn't mention the status on my drink; not sure if they knew I had ordered one?). Overall, though, this is a must-try, especially if you've never had mochidonuts!“
“Classic Cambodian-American Gem Superior Donuts is a heartwarming tribute to the immigrant experience. This family-owned shop embodies the American dream - long hours and an unwavering work ethic. The donuts are big, fresh, and delicious! Don't miss the jalapeno croissants, muffins, and the incredible mocha with house-made whipped cream. My go to donut is the maple bar with whipped cream! It's not fancy, but the warm welcome and tasty treats make it special. Support this small business and savor a piece of Cambodian-American culture.“
“I'm not a huge donut fan but the donuts here are always great! They have classics as well as fancier flavor combinations. They were generous enough to include a few free donut holes with my box of 12 donuts. I like that you can even call in your order ahead of time, if you're in a rush.“
“I really liked the Bear claws, and that is what I suggest. I just wish I had found out about this place sooner, but to be honest, when I moved to Sacramento a little over 6 years ago, I was not looking for a Donut place, as I had one around my belly, I needed to get rid of.“
“I don't usually give a business 5 stars unless I wholly believe it has earned it, but this place has done that time and time again. Donut Heaven understands consistency. I first heard of this place more than 10 years ago when my donut-loving father gave it high marks for great donuts; good coffee; and good service. We are usually on the same page when it comes to donuts and he would rather patronize local, mom-and-pop businesses than some national chains that feel they no longer have to work for their customers' business because they can just sit on the laurels of their big, popular business name (yes I'm talking to you Dunkin Donuts!) You were good when we were together on the East Coast but moving to Cali has done you no favors. But enough about DD. Back to Donut Heaven where they seriously have some of the best fluffy; squishy; pillowy; freshly-made on the daily delightful donuts. Their whipped cream-filled donuts are nice and tasty; the whipped cream tastes like real whipped cream. it is light and airy and not fake chemical tasting. Their maple and chocolate glazes are on point: not gloopy, easily melted, or overly sweet but just right ( and I'm sure Goldilocks could attest to this.) The people who own it are pleasant, accommodating, humble, and kind. I know: I should've dropped this review long ago but part of me was worried that too many reviews would get them to this lofty headspace that some competitors (yes, that's you Dunkin!) reside in and I didn't want Donut Heaven to rest on their laurels either but I think if 10 years or so of regular thanks and compliments from their patrons hasn't caused them to become a big-headed business yet, then maybe they will never turn into Dunkin and they will just continue being the humble donut-crafting artisans that I admire and will continue buying my weekly donuts from.“
“We love this place. They have a very large selection of donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The food always tastes fresh and the woman who works there (sorry, don't know her name) is always very friendly. Yes, it's a small and older shop as others have pointed out, but I don't go there for the decor.“
“It's my first time ordering a mocha frappe. I thought it was going to be made with chocolate, however, the guy who made it, told me that it's never made with chocolate and it's called mocha chocolate frappe. So next time I'll be more specific. All in all this mocha frappe is really delicious. Highly recommend it.“
“It's a proper donut shop with good coffee. Service is sufficient, and the product is good quality. From what I gather, it is a neighborhood standard with years of service. Nice, clean, and organized, and it's located near 99 highway. It is an appreciably reliable, well maintained and managed establishment and I quite like it.“
“Mom and pop donut shop. Stopped in here one morning to grab a couple donuts for the road. I was unsure which one I wanted so when I finally made a decision the lady behind the counter gave me the other one for free. Kind people and great service. Definitely check them out.“
“Ordered donuts through DoorDash despite all the mixed reviews since hubby and I were craving it. Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. Our donuts got delivered quickly and tasted fresh. We also ordered donut holes, but they must have ran out since they gave us 3 glazed donuts instead which we appreciated. Maybe we got lucky with our timing or they are trying to improve from all the bad reviews, but I have nothing bad to say about this place. Cravings satisfied!“
“I really like the texture of the mochi nut. It's chewy, yet soft with a subtle sweetness. We got the taro snow and creme brulee. Both were really yummy. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors. They also have Korean hotdogs (all the hype right now) and drinks.Small but cute waiting area with a couch that looks inflatable. Two small tables outside in the front of the store.“
“This review is for their Too Good To Go purchase. I decided to try this place since I was in the neighborhood and I was not disappointed at all. The selection of donuts that were given to me for the price I paid for was definitely worth it. Robert, who was working that day, was very nice and friendly and definitely a delight to talk to. He even extended an invitation for me to come back and try other kinds of donuts. Definitely go check this place out!“
