“The meticulous attention to detail the way this man is able to make these Donuts so uniform you would think they were coming out of a machine they are beautiful they are works of art I cannot sing enough praises it is hard to find a business owner whose heart is into his product the way this man's it is I cannot say enough please support this local business ones like this who care enough to produce a quality product are the ones who we should support the most was my first visit I'm highly impressed I would love to see this grow“
“Delicious donuts and terrific service! Some of my favorite things about Marie's is that they're open late, the sugar donuts are delicious, they take phone orders, and the staff are friendly (this is probably my favorite thing - seeing the friendly faces).“
“First time in, was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this place. Been vegan for 8 years and usually don't favor gluten free but I will definitely be coming here again. The strawberry cheesecake donut was DELICIOUS and the French toast one was pretty good too. The panini was smaller than I thought it'd be but still really tasty. The service was great, Mariam was super patient with all my questions since it was my first time in and helped me navigate the menu. Ollie helped me out when I decided to get a few more donuts to go and was also very friendly, also saw her go out of her way to help open the door for a man in a wheelchair. Overall love the food and the service, definitely worth trying if you're in the area.“
“Amazing customer service !!! She was so extremely sweet, I saw sandwiches that had some toppings I didn't want, and she happily made my croissant sandwich the way i wanted! Great Vietnamese coffee too! I got 2 sandwiches and 1 drink for like $16. I also really like how the customers who were ahead of me in line were regulars you can tell, and they were excited to see the owner and get the food. great vibes and i'll definitely come back!“
“I love the service and donuts here. If you are looking for the trendy style of donuts then this isn’t your place. This is your traditional mom and pop donuts shop. The flavors were on point and prices were more than affordable. It’s unfortunate that the homelessness encapsulates the area around the facility and yes I would too with the amazing smells coming from the 16th Street Donut shop. Everyone loves donuts so I hook em up with a few on my way out.“
“Great selection of fresh donuts. As usual, there is a particular thing I like. In this case, it is a chocolate cruller. A wonderfully thick icing, fresh eggy dough, man these are good! Inside dining area, drive thru, espresso and quick service. Traditional donut shop ambiance with some Asian decor.“
“The donuts and service at Sunshine Donuts is the BEST! The woman behind the counter is so friendly, as are both of the boys who work there. They have the best buttermilk donuts in Sacramento, and their maple glaze is great. Also, you can ask them to put custard in any donut! Yum!“
“Excellent.Honestly best donuts north of Sacramento. I've been coming here for 25 years. I haven't even lived anywhere near Rio Linda for 15 years, but when I come visit I make sure to stop at Jimmy's donuts. Immigrant owners, family owned and operated. Nicest people ever. Patient. Just the absolute best there is.“
“Since my kids were in elementary we have gone here before I dropped them off to school. Now that their in college it still brings them back memories. The owners of this shop are beautiful down to earth people. They have a loyal customer for life.“
“We ordered donuts here for my daughter's first birthday. They suggested us to email someone whom I believe had an authority. Turned out the person named Van was really rude and didn't care to respond after asking me how many donuts I wanted. My husband drove straight there and asked if they could just help us out. We did a unicorn theme so anything colorful was good enough. When we came to pick them up, the baker was very excited to show us what he got. He went above and beyond for us. I almost teared up when I saw how sparkly and colorful the donuts were for my daughter's birthday. If you need anything I suggest not to email the generic bober email but go directly to the store and ask for bulk orders.“
“Big display case of the donuts. Easy to find everything they have. Prices are very good and they have all the basic ones there but sadly there does not seem to be anything special there. The most unique donut are donut hole sized cream puffs which are tasty.Staff was friendly and helped make picks for me.The parking was very easy as there are not many businesses there.Parking: The lot is a bit rough.“
“Delicious donuts and they have some cute little goodies for sale inside, crystals, purses, earrings, knitted plants. Family that runs it lives directly behind the building so sometimes they're not there lol but never too long . Don't have any pics , I get nervous fast“
“I stopped by this donut shop to get donuts for a staff meeting, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. The donuts were soft, fresh, and delicious! I will definitely drive an extra 15 minutes for their donuts. They are that good! I arrived at 6:30 am and the place was packed. Thank you for serving fresh food. I brought the extra donuts to my kids, and they too shared how delicious the donuts are. I definitely recommend this donut shop.“
“Daily fresh made donuts with good variety and decent beverage selection, including fresh coffee and good creamers. Seven days a week, this couple is in there, making a fresh batch. My favorite is the old fashioned donuts. Dependably good every time.“
“No where to really sit when I went, but they made a spot for a friend of mine and I. Coffee was great, donuts were wonderful, and service was perfect. Nice lil coffee and donuts shop.Parking: There are two parking spots in the front and some more parking in the back. Better to walk there.“
“Been working and living in the area, since 2009...Great Start, Super Clean, and as a Retired MASTER BAKER and CAKE ? DECORATOR, I can honestly say They Have the Freshest, Most Flavorful ?☕DONUTS, in South Sac!!!Note : They Have CROISSANTS ???, Ham, Cheese, and Jalapeno FILLED!!!!I take them on every road ?️ trip I take!Try them!!!!!!“
“I’ve been coming to this donut shop since 1992. The donut holes were heavenly back then. I do believe they’ve changed ownership since then and a little has changed in regard to quality. The donuts are still delicious, the service is friendly especially once you get to know the personalities of each staff member. This is the go to spot for picking up donuts for staff in the morning. You can never go wrong with the maple donuts. I love donut holes and each of our staff have their own favorites that we get every time. $14.99 for a dozen regular donuts, $20.99 for a dozen fancy donuts (the bigger ones), $2.75 for a dozen donut holes, and $1.50 for a single small donut.“
“Looking for some fresh donuts ? Well look no further in the Fruitridge area, these donuts have a soft texture, with a tasty topping, your choice of flavors the address is 5027 Fruitridge Road in the Stockton Fruitridge center right next to Cesar's Pizza, with plenty of parking, and they also sell breakfast croissant ? sandwiches, and the the cashier is friendly and yes they speak Spanish, Enjoy and have a Great Day !Parking: In this location there's hundreds of spots to parkKid-friendliness: Plenty of Donuts ! And soft drinks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and seating area are friendly to the physically challenged“
“Consistency (in taste and customer service), super chill, inviting, and warm environment. I love that the crew of baristas are authentic, no fake, overly kind/pretending to be interested in your life - although the personal connection is definitely there! It’s just not forced. My favorite neighborhood ☕️ shop for sure ❤️“
“Every year I order the lemon cake for my husband's birthday. Every cake I have ever bought from this bakery is divine. If you love someone and really want to get them something special - this is the go-to bakery just don't forget to order in advance.“
“I came here this morning, there was 1 lady working with about 4 customers, me included. I grabbed a couple danishes, which were great. I love the location relative to the South Sacramento working areas, but I imagine this place CAN get busy and increase your wait if only one worker is present. I don't know if another works along side the lady. I was patient but it did take it me a second to get my order in, and she was hastey trying to get to me. Give this place a try. They have like 3 or 4 different danishes, strawberry, blue berry, + others“
“Classic Cambodian-American Gem Superior Donuts is a heartwarming tribute to the immigrant experience. This family-owned shop embodies the American dream - long hours and an unwavering work ethic. The donuts are big, fresh, and delicious! Don't miss the jalapeno croissants, muffins, and the incredible mocha with house-made whipped cream. My go to donut is the maple bar with whipped cream! It's not fancy, but the warm welcome and tasty treats make it special. Support this small business and savor a piece of Cambodian-American culture.“
“I work and the area and while on lunch I was craving a coffee so I stopped here. Once I saw classics like an Americano I knew the coffee here was gonna be better than more Tea places. My Sea Salt Caramel Latte was great, prepared quickly and the person who made it was very kind. Love the esthetic of this place and the selection of donuts too. Definitely a place I would come back to. 4.8/5.“
“Wow! I have not had a better doughnut in my entire life! I ate 2 of the strawberry cream doughnuts before I even got home! It does a doughnut like no other I have ever tasted. Blows Kk out of the water! I highly recommend going here, you won't be disappointed, well maybe... because you might eat too many!“
“Although I am from the community, I am uncomfortable with the crowd that gathers outside of this parking lot. This is not a negative reflection on the owners of the donut shop. They have wonderful breakfast sandwiches and donuts. If you visit this great shop, get in and get out.“
“I'm not a huge donut fan but the donuts here are always great! They have classics as well as fancier flavor combinations. They were generous enough to include a few free donut holes with my box of 12 donuts. I like that you can even call in your order ahead of time, if you're in a rush.“
“The best donuts in the area! Consistent great flavor, and fresh, since I was little. It's great to be able to take your kids to the same donut shop you went to as a kid! So friendly and welcoming!Kid-friendliness: Nothing makes a kid feel better than being treated as an equal customer, welcomed with a bright cheerful smile. We made a mess but I only saw smiles!“
“I don't usually give a business 5 stars unless I wholly believe it has earned it, but this place has done that time and time again. Donut Heaven understands consistency. I first heard of this place more than 10 years ago when my donut-loving father gave it high marks for great donuts; good coffee; and good service. We are usually on the same page when it comes to donuts and he would rather patronize local, mom-and-pop businesses than some national chains that feel they no longer have to work for their customers' business because they can just sit on the laurels of their big, popular business name (yes I'm talking to you Dunkin Donuts!) You were good when we were together on the East Coast but moving to Cali has done you no favors. But enough about DD. Back to Donut Heaven where they seriously have some of the best fluffy; squishy; pillowy; freshly-made on the daily delightful donuts. Their whipped cream-filled donuts are nice and tasty; the whipped cream tastes like real whipped cream. it is light and airy and not fake chemical tasting. Their maple and chocolate glazes are on point: not gloopy, easily melted, or overly sweet but just right ( and I'm sure Goldilocks could attest to this.) The people who own it are pleasant, accommodating, humble, and kind. I know: I should've dropped this review long ago but part of me was worried that too many reviews would get them to this lofty headspace that some competitors (yes, that's you Dunkin!) reside in and I didn't want Donut Heaven to rest on their laurels either but I think if 10 years or so of regular thanks and compliments from their patrons hasn't caused them to become a big-headed business yet, then maybe they will never turn into Dunkin and they will just continue being the humble donut-crafting artisans that I admire and will continue buying my weekly donuts from.“
“I really liked the Bear claws, and that is what I suggest. I just wish I had found out about this place sooner, but to be honest, when I moved to Sacramento a little over 6 years ago, I was not looking for a Donut place, as I had one around my belly, I needed to get rid of.“
“Sad to see Danny go BUT give knotty knots a try you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how great they are! They’re almost like a funnel cake and a Krispy Kreme had a baby. That’s the best way I can describe it. They are hot fresh and delicious and the new owner is a super nice guy. They are the best fresh homemade donuts I’ve ever had next to Danny’s. I’d highly recommend trying the glazed knots! I went back the next day for another order because they were soo good :)“
“Neighborhood chain for multicultural sweet and savory! ~ While on a kolache and cookie spree, my cousin who lives nearby introduced me to BAD Bakers and I've been coming here ever since whenever possible when in town. Upon entering, this place looks sweetly delicious with an impressive variety of sweet and savory pastries. My favorite rare-to-find kolache options, uniquely addicting ube and tropical fruit flavored breads are available here! We've often bought a variety of each to sample and enjoy there, on the drive or at home. My cousin and I love the soft ube cookies but both thought that the fruity bread was too sweet. The beau and I love kolaches and these were satiating but heavier on the cheesy crisp side (as pictured) than most kolaches we've enjoyed. Service on both occasions have seemed to lag so a patient sweet tooth is good to have at this BAD Bakers.“
“I went here on a whim to buy donuts for the office. The line was three deep. They processed people fairly quickly. Two taking orders and one person ring up the order. To my surprise and delight they had boba tea which is my current craving. I order a boba tea and was good. The donuts were on par with other donut shops. Typical selection you would expect and quality was also as expected. I would return for a donut or bobs fix.“
“Mochinut is amazing! Their donuts are delicious and their texture is different than a regular donut. It's like a donut on the outside and softer on the inside like mochi Last time I visited they had fall flavor, but I wish they would keep some of the more exotic flavors on regular rotation like passion fruit and ube.“
“I found this little gem near my Aunt's house! I thought I should pick up half a dozen donuts to surprise my kids. They have so many selections and flavors! Their donuts were good; they had a light and fluffy center. Their donut holes were so good! All the ladies behind the counter were friendly and super fast to help customers. When I got there, there was a line out the door, but the line moved fast, and they were efficient in handling the customer's orders. They also have Gunther's ice cream, freshly made sandwiches, and other smoothie drinks My daughter love jelly filled donuts; they really don't skimp on the filling; it was overflowing inside! I'm definitely going to stop by this place again when I am in the area!“
“It's my first time ordering a mocha frappe. I thought it was going to be made with chocolate, however, the guy who made it, told me that it's never made with chocolate and it's called mocha chocolate frappe. So next time I'll be more specific. All in all this mocha frappe is really delicious. Highly recommend it.“
“It's a proper donut shop with good coffee. Service is sufficient, and the product is good quality. From what I gather, it is a neighborhood standard with years of service. Nice, clean, and organized, and it's located near 99 highway. It is an appreciably reliable, well maintained and managed establishment and I quite like it.“
“Mom and pop donut shop. Stopped in here one morning to grab a couple donuts for the road. I was unsure which one I wanted so when I finally made a decision the lady behind the counter gave me the other one for free. Kind people and great service. Definitely check them out.“
“The donuts here are really good, I got a variety of a few. Cronut, croissant holes, maple bar, and some puffs. Everything is really good, like the kind of donuts that are soft and not too doughy. I've been wanting to come here but every time I've tried to come they were sold out or I came too late. I will say they are on the pricier side of donuts. I only got 4 donuts, and a half dozen croissants holes and a half dozen of the little cream puffs and it came to about $20. I think I heard them say a dozen regular donuts are $19. Overall the donuts are probably better tasting donuts in the area near, but the price is higher than most donut shops. Service was nice. I recommend coming here for better donuts.“
“The lady that works here is so cool, doughnuts are hella good, I support this business and am a customer that’ll be back for doughnuts.Parking: Parking is limited and fills up fast on the weekend but there is street parking also. Parking lot gets full fast and the gas station doesn’t help next door.Wheelchair accessibility: Has wheelchair access.“
“Ordered donuts through DoorDash despite all the mixed reviews since hubby and I were craving it. Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. Our donuts got delivered quickly and tasted fresh. We also ordered donut holes, but they must have ran out since they gave us 3 glazed donuts instead which we appreciated. Maybe we got lucky with our timing or they are trying to improve from all the bad reviews, but I have nothing bad to say about this place. Cravings satisfied!“
“I really like the texture of the mochi nut. It's chewy, yet soft with a subtle sweetness. We got the taro snow and creme brulee. Both were really yummy. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors. They also have Korean hotdogs (all the hype right now) and drinks.Small but cute waiting area with a couch that looks inflatable. Two small tables outside in the front of the store.“
“This shop has all the boba shop requirements: delish drinks, good service and an Instagram-worthy super cute pink wall! I've only tried a few drinks because their signature boba milk tea (I think it's like a tiger milk tea), which comes with stir-fried boba, is so good that I have to get it every time I go and I've been sticking to that ever since. You order at a self-service kiosk and the employees will let you know when your drink is ready. The only downfall of this place is that it's expensive! After tip, my drink came out to $8 on my last visit a few weeks ago. For a guilty pleasure, I come here every once in a while but most of the time I stick to other shops' budget-friendly drinks. One nice addition is Bober's proximity to some cool local shops like a grilled cheese restaurant and a few other restaurants. Worth a try!“
“Best donuts in the area and we drive from Sac to get these about once a month. Yes the homeless population is rampant, but it's not the shop's fault. No indoor seating, just get a box of amazing donuts and enjoy them elsewhere! Worth it!“
