I think they are closed. I am really sad. This was one of my favorite places and a staple in old sac. I went there Today (3/21/24) and a new donut shop is there. They do not sell mini donuts but sell knots and such.
My friend Danny was in town, so we HAD to come here! We got an order of 16 donuts and got all 4 flavors (chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon sugar, and powdered). They were all delicious, but I loved the chocolate one the best! I liked that they were mini donuts so you could try a lot. The service was great! The person who helped us was really nice and the donuts came out very quickly. Sad to see Danny go BUT give knotty knots a try you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how great they are! They’re almost like a funnel cake and a Krispy Kreme had a baby. That’s the best way I can describe it. They are hot fresh and delicious and the new owner is a super nice guy. They are the best fresh homemade donuts I’ve ever had next to Danny’s. I’d highly recommend trying the glazed knots! I went back the next day for another order because they were soo good :)
