But of a line when I went, but worth the wait; the big thing is the sign over the door was changed so I took a photo for anyone in future to avoid confusion [:)].
No longer Danny's.
It's now called Mad Hatter Doughnuts.
Donuts were good, but they do make them a little smaller than Danny's made them. We also got ice cream and there's nothing bad to mention there. The worker was nice, wish there was more seating but it's understandable that there isn't due to the high foot traffic. The menu selections were reduced aside from the icecream, donuts and drinks (and maybe a few other options like chips etc) but they don't really serve food...read full review
Danny's Mini Donuts, located in Old Sacramento, offers delicious glazed knots that are hot, fresh, and almost like a mix between a funnel cake and a Krispy Kreme donut. The new owner is friendly and the service is excellent. Although the previous owner is missed, the new knots are worth a try. The mini donuts come in four flavors - chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon sugar, and powdered - and are perfect for trying a variety. The shop is in a great area surrounded by shops and food spots, making it a fantastic place to explore.
