“Good place to stop by get some good beer and also have food, which it's also pretty good. Izzy the bartender is always welcoming and really helper on whay beer to get ... i like getting their sours beers. The jungle juice beer is really good and beer is green my favorite color so had to get out ha..if your in the area stop by and get yourself some beer and food..“
“I live in Sacramento, but come to the Elk Grove area often and have tried a few different donut shops, but there haven't really been any that have stood out...until Elk Grove Donuts! My daughter and I like to pick up donuts when we are headed over to see my parents. She loves their glazed donuts and glazed donut holes, and I am obsessed with their maple old fashioned donuts! It doesn't matter if it's a weekday or a weekend, they are usually always busy. If you go into the store, you will most likely be waiting in a line, but I promise you, it's worth the wait! You can also place an order on DoorDash, which we will occasionally do. However, if the store is very busy, they may not accept the order. Either way, if you're in the area, give them a try - they also have breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and other drinks!“
“If you have read any of my past reviews, you have probably gathered that my wife and I love to go wine tasting. Ironically, we have never closed out the new year wine tasting; therefore, we thought it would be cool if we enjoyed some tastings on New Year's Eve. After speaking with a friendly employee who confirmed that they were open and strongly encouraged us to stop by, we embarked on the 12 minute drive from our home. Upon entering we were warmly greeted by an employee named Sharon, who welcomed, seated, and provided us with the tasting menu. Even though the winery was moderately busy, Sharon did a great job of working the room and ensuring that she perfectly timed the next pour as we finished off the previous offering (without making us feel rushed). With each tasting Sharon gave a brief backstory and noted what would pair best with the offering. As the tasting concluded, my wife and I elected to purchase a bottle of the delicious 2022 Sangiovese. If you're looking for an informative + pleasant wine tasting experience, I recommend checking out Christopher Cellars!“
“Art is great and the setting is unique! And, of course, the wines are exceptional!! Unfortunately the tasting charge has gone up as happens everywhere but, of course, waived as we bought several bottles. Also wine club is quarterly and no choice of wines if on the 3 bottle plan. Really like other clubs that let you choose...“
“The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is the fact that I had reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The food , atmosphere, and staff are outstanding. The place needs to be expanded, that was the reason for the wait.“
“Best ice cream spot in a very long time. Got the 4 scoop sampler and had difficulty deciding what flavors to choose from sooo many options. Was not disappointed though. Got coffee chip, strawberry cheesecake, PB choc brownie and salted caramel truffle. Others had lime bar milkshake, chocolate covered with melted peanut butter and chocolate brownie sundae. Also a sandwich of horchata ice cream with oreo cookies, but smaller than what we thought it'd be, still very good. Prices very reasonable and lines go quick with friendly staff. Can't wait to be in the area to try more flavors.“
“We were seated immediately after entering the restaurant. Our waiter's were Isiah & Giselle and they both were excellent. Oh my goodness the reviews that we read were true to their words. We ordered the Birra Taco's and the Fajitas. The Fajitas came out sizzling hot and the Birra was heat hot as well. The spices were definitely popping off in your mouth I felt like I was having a party in my stomach, oh yeah, oh yeah. This Restaurant went beyond our expectations. You do feel like you're in Mexico. We will be back and definitely tell others.“
“I stopped in on a whim and had a lovely experience. I enjoyed walking in to the tasting room and discussing the different art pieces on the wall. There was a nice wine selection and the staff was very knowledgable about the tastings. The grounds on the winery set as a relaxing background to the wine pairings. The labels on the bottles were so beautiful and I look forward to coming back in the future.“
“The broistas at this location are ALWAYS nice, cheery & talkative! They always have yummy recommendations for new drinks to try, and they’ll share their own “secret” recipes! Love love love this location & team! I stop by frequently on my commute from Sac to Galt and back and always choose this location to stop at ??“
“There are so many hidden gems in Elk Grove, but Baguettes is our new favorite place to go. Here's why: All the food is freshly made, open 6 days a week, wide variety of food and drink, tasty and filling delicious items on a detailed menu, comfortable dining room or take-out or catering, and most of all it's Paula, the woman that creates all the dining delights. So creative are the sandwiches, there are many surprises as you bite into the freshly made bread.“
“3.5 stars for me.WAYYYY too sweet!Too much sugar in every drink I’ve tried from here. (I’ve tried 6+ drinks from here)Honestly anything you order… you should ask for 1/2 sweet bare minimum. Most drinks I actually order 1/4th sweet because it’s so overboard I can’t even taste the coffee.Great tasting drinks when you cut the sweet pumps. Love their pumpkin spice flavor/ blended drink. Also their seasonal “SNOW CAP” drink for Christmas is AMAZING. Tastes like a birthday cake. Favorite flavor for sure.“
“So many sour beers here! Some aren't on tap though. We liked the ube sour beer, guava sour, mangonada. We brought outside food here to eat with our beers. They even have hook the ring battle game. We came here Saturday around 3pm. It wasn't busy at all. We parked on the street.“
“Had them today at the Elk Grove Pumpkin Festival. Great little trailer coffeehouse. I would have given 5 's however the dark chocolate sugar free iced mocha I got had the powder still at the bottom. Not stirred in. Otherwise GREAT place!!!“
“So pleased to find my kid some gluten free options!*Updating that the restaurant has gotten so busy but there is never a second server. People are growing angry because there's just always a wait for simple things like paying or getting a to go box. Please just have a second server. We don't have other options really because of the gluten issues but it's still bothersome to see people losing it because they've been waiting so long. It's not fair to customers or the server running around like a one man bandVegetarian options: Veg optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Always have the best donuts around. And if you haven't tried it yet their breakfast sandwiches are huge and really good. The hot chocolate is great. And the coffed ain't bad either. I have never had an unpleasant experience . They will ream fill almost anything if you just ask..so give them a try in the morning.“
“I liked the atmosphere, the wait staff are inexperienced youngsters that delivered us nachos that were old. They never came back to ask us if everything was ok. I didn't like how I was charged $3.50 for every little sample, it was just a splash of beer! The actual brewery in Turlock is a lot better.“
“Stopped in for a late lunch. Wife had a Monte Cristo and I had Cajun catfish with a side of fried okra. The food was very tasty. Service was great and staff was very friendly. Many more things on the menu to try - can't wait until next visit!“
“This marks my second visit to this establishment after a considerable interval. While the shop is easily noticeable from the street, the actual entrance is situated in an unconventional corner. On a chilly, rainy day, I treated my children to donuts. My daughter opted for mini donut holes, while my son selected donuts adorned with sprinkles. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their choices. It's worth noting that credit card transactions incur a fee of $0.40. The quality of their donuts is exceptional. Whether you're seeking a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon indulgence, they have assorted donuts to savor the sweetness palette.“
“It's a great big space to sit and come eat with your friends and family. And it's a quick stop to hang out for a quick lunch bite since their menu is pretty simple and nice to pair with their Boba drinks and tea. Ban Mi sandwiches are amazing, too.“
“My friends and I made plans to pair a visit with Hay Tone's Hangout with visiting King's Skate Country across the street. While my friends had been to Hay Tone's before it had been awhile and I had never been. The vibe at Hay Tone's is extremely laid back and while I was expecting a bar, it was more of a combination of a convenience store, pool hall and bar. They advertise as being family friendly and even sell juice boxes that are clearly meant for kids. At the same time it definitely also had the feel of a bar with people sitting on bar stools and drinking beer. It really did blur the boundary of what is a bar and what is a place that just serves alcohol. I only drink occasionally, so I got a grape Kool Aid and a water, but would have preferred to have a Capri Sun! The staff were extremely friendly and all around the vibes were good. I could see myself coming back with friends in the future.“
“This restaurant/food stall is located inside Tilted Mash Brewery. I ordered the chicken, carne asada, and al pastor quesadillas. They were all good and they add a good portion of meat in each. The al pastor was a bit too oily. The cool thing is that you can add additional pickled vegetables and salsas in your quesadilla. I would go back next time I am at Tilted Mash.“
“Dutch Bros Coffee is a popular spot for coffee aficionados, known for its friendly service and extensive menu of delicious drinks. From classic lattes to unique specialty concoctions, there's something for everyone. The drive-thru format makes it convenient for a quick caffeine fix on the go. While prices may be slightly higher than some competitors, the quality and convenience are worth it for many loyal customers.“
“Service is great - it’s a Starbucks. Only complaint would be parking, but not lack of. There are many individuals who feel entitled to park at the clearly painted red (no parking) curbs in front of SB, which makes it hard to maneuver when multiple vehicles are “
“Babes is rather new to town and I welcome them! The owner is always looking for ways to improve his guests experience at Babes which is nice! The free pool tables is amazing. His beer prices are more than fair and he has an amazing collection of tequilas on site. The inside bar is nice and cozy, the bartenders are wonderful and always give good customer service. Babes is a rare gem in old town Elk Grove and deserves to be visited. Sometimes on Fridays they have "smash burgers" by Eric that are so good I can't resist them!“
“I love rescate! They are everything you could hope for in a small, family owned, specialty coffee shop. They even roast their own beans and bake their own pastries. Everything I have ordered here has been delicious and the customer service is always great. The staff there deserve all the tips and recognition! Gold stars for everyone ✨️“
“This is the nicest Tops I've ever been to. The lady working there was super nice. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The froyo was delicious. And, wow, so many toppings! I've never seen marshmallow sauce before.Dietary restrictions: I saw both dairy free and sugar free options. Everything was clearly labeled.Parking: Strip mall parking lotKid-friendliness: Fun colors, clean and bright, good atmosphere, seating available“
“Had a fantastic date night. The woman behind the bar was so very helpful and sweet. She helped us find the beer we loved and even got a growler to go home. They have events that look very fun. They were having a paint night when we went and I saw they have a trivia night and karaoke night. The BBQ Flatbread pizza was incredible!! We will definitely be back.“
“My Go-To protein shakes in Elk Grove. Not only are the drinks amazing, but the owners are great! Super kind, helpful, and so positive! You can feel the energy once you come through door or once you call for a phone order. They also make yummy protein donuts, my favorite is the banana bread, blueberry, and strawberry lemonade. I always get the caramel macchiato with a prolessa shot inside. I typically get the Paloma tea but this time I tried the mangonada! That is now my new go to tea!“
“Peet's Coffee has a few locations in Elk Grove. This one is one of them I like to visit when I'm there for lunch or dinner at the same parking lot. This mall has my favorite restaurant and ice cream shop. This Peet's Coffee has the same good coffee as the other Peet's Coffee I like--very good and fast service. I enjoyed having a cup of coffee in front of their outdoor seating area when the weather was good. They have a lovely interior as well. The parking lot can be jam-packed sometimes. Fortunately, most of the cars come and go very fast.“
“Excellent coffee! Everything has a delightful, natural flavor! The whipped cream is genuine; it is not imitation whipped cream! It makes sense why it has more positive reviews than Starbucks. The employees are really courteous and welcoming. They also hand out cards, and if you purchase a drink, they will punch your card; if you receive 10 punches, you receive a free drink. Without a doubt, I'll be returning!“
“It changed a lot The store is like storage units and allot displays the staff needs to smile most Asian staff or rude but others or cool I've been shopping for years and years finally I got rip off fr buying dvd the kid to scam me with prices“
“First time hitting this spot and O M G, it's pretty darn good. Service was nice and place was warm and cozy. I don't usually like strawberry drinks but I took a chance on the strawberry 2.0 snow. Let me tell you, it's so good! My boyfriend got the mango passionfruit green tea and it was the right balance of the tea and fruit flavors. The only two complaints I have are; 1. I ordered boba with my drink and it came in the cup warm. Kind of left a weird taste in my mouth especially with the strawberry drink and foam at the top. 2. I love the matte finishing touch on the cup as it makes the cups more sturdy, BUT! The cup narrows its way down to the bottom so the boba took majority of the room vs the drink. Will definitely return when I'm back in Elk Grove but no boba/toppings for me.“
“Creative menu & delicious food. Lots of interesting choices. Everything comes with a brioche waffle. I ordered the "Jimmy A Greek" which came with eggs, savory waffle, mixed greens & an authentic dolma. My wife ordered the avacado toast which she enjoyed v much. Coffee was good but refills were a challenge. Outside heaters were needed in a cool drizzling morning but all were out of propane. Oh! They've real fresh squeeze orange juice there - most delicioso! The restaurant opens at 8, the staff wasn't ready, one must be patient.“
“The food has always been good here. Fish is usually well prepared and stored correctly. Variety is limited but I’m happy with what they usually offer. The price is about right for the portion and type of food. For that I will give it 5 stars.Service is lacking however. The staff isn’t always very helpful, but they’re usually nice though! Asked about the difference between a pokee box vs naked box, and the gal had to think — maybe she’s new. Asked the best combo for sauce and they basically responded with no answer. They charge a 4% service fee. I asked what the fee was for. They just said administrative fees lol—not sure when I had to pay their admins a percentage of my meal. Gratuity is separate. It’s a small place on the corner lot but it’s cute inside.Would I come back again? Most definitely because I still think this place has better pokee than most places.“
“Always so good!! The service is always great! Is it authentic...not very but the food is always good and fresh! They finally have some good help with management. For a while it seemed like the GM was there EVERY day! He's amazing but I am sure he enjoys some time off here and there. Anyway I saw a newish manager the day I went and he was great and friendly. We sat on the patio which is so underrated! Love the patio, love the staff and love the food!“
“Who does not love Starbucks. Starbucks has always been one of my favorite coffee places. Love my White Chocolate Mocha in the mornings. Sometimes with my Bacon Cheddar sandwich. I wish they were more consistent when making drinks but they don't mind remaking it. I think they get so busy they don't make sure to measure correctly. Place is always clean, stocked with fun colorful cups.“
“You just can't find the freshest sandwiches and veggie salads at Beach Hut Deli..The little grub eatery is an awesome surprise for anyone to find great food hot or cold and flavorful salad creations that treat your mouth and appetite tasteful meals and leave you satisfied from first bite to the last !! Come On and drop down to Beach Hut Deli.. You'll want More your Next visit..“
“Nice new dessert spot in EG, with plenty of options to try. This place just recently opened, and has been slowly getting organized and gaining traction with the local crowd. I'll post more pictures as we get to try it again, for now a 4/5 rating as they continue to improve their service and offerings.“
“Food there was simply amazing. For my ramen bowl, I got a bit of extras because it was my birthday so why not treat myself. ??The bento was good too. Don't judge but I definitely love food and how much I eat goes to show just that. The drinks there was a bit expensive, but it was worth trying. Loved it.Our server was a bit behind in terms of keeping up even when I had made a reservation for a group of 9. I'd assume they'd be a bit more prepared in terms of handling larger groups but it is what it is. No sweat. ?“
