“I took my brother and sister in law here for the first time in November 2025 they lived in Germany for several years and live in Iowa now anyway they love great German food which they thought they had the best German food in Des monies Iowa which is very good I was blessed to have eaten there but back to German Guys you guys totally changed their minds and both agreed that this was the best German food they have had since living in Germany the food was amazing and our waitress Vanessa was the best kind friendly and very helpful with food selections recommendations we came back a few more times before the went home I agreed with them that this is the best place to go to eat the best German food in the Central Valley also we meet the owners wife and she was just as friendly and kind spent time talking with my brother about living in Germany so 5+ stars ⭐️ please if you’re in the area and want the best German food stop in and give them a try won’t be disappointed“

“So tired of paying big bucks for food that tastes like cardboard. But California Al’s did not disappoint. Absolutely the best burger in Lodi❗️ Large portions, EXCELLENT flavor. Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. “Went here last weekend after dinner with some friends and it turned out to be a sweet little surprise. The place had a cozy vibe and smelled amazing the moment we walked in. I tried their chocolate mousse and my friend got the strawberry cheesecake — both were really good, not overly sweet which I liked. The staff were friendly and even offered some samples to try. Prices were fair for the quality too. Overall, a nice spot if you’re craving something sweet after a meal or just want a little treat.“

“Love seeing more Latino owned shops pop up in Lodi! The options were plentiful and incorporate Mexican culture very elegantly. I had the iced Cafe de Olla and it had a nice burst of flavor. Plus, I loved the Atmosphere and decor. My friend and I stopped by for takeout but I would love to visit again and relax while enjoying my coffee. I’ll be back!“

“Went to the Fruit Bowl for the very first time today. We had lunch first at their Bake Shop. It was nice and air conditioned! They make wonderful sandwiches! Spent lots on cherries, apricots, cherry pie, pumpkin bread, marble rye bread, whiskey pepper steak sauce, cherry pepper sauce, pickled beets and better than brittle candy. The place was clean. They had really cute shopping baskets. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. Will be back there again. Highly recommend to all!!“

“We search and search for that homey little winery that serves delicious wines at reasonable prices. This is that place, yet it isn't. These wines are popular and sold nationwide. Yet the winery flies mainly under the radar. There is no wine club, yet there are very reasonable prices for delicious wines, red and white. Drop in off of busy highway 99 and enjoy a tasting trip with their friendly and knowledgeable staff. You'll soon feel right at home...“

“Wow what a lovely experience. Glo and team just do a fantastic job of welcoming you into the Family of Lucas Winery. The wines are well balanced and crafted with drinkability in mind. We hung out in the vineyard and had two bottles (Chardonnay and Zin Blossom) which were perfect with a charcuterie board and a warm sunny day. Swing by to grab a bottle or join their wine club. They work with UC Davis to repopulate Barn Owls. Meet Luca the fledgling Barn owl that left the Owl house while we were there.“

The wine is fantastic, the family who runs it is warm and welcoming, and the vineyard views are stunning. Their red blends are a must-try, and we appreciated how they took the time to share their passion with us.
The outdoor patio is the perfect spot to relax with a glass, and it’s so nice that they’re dog-friendly. This is easily one of our favorite wineries in the Lodi area. Already planning our next visit!“

“Been a while since I'd been in... But my Blue Burger and Blue fries were even better than I remembered. I'm not a big beer drinker, but the hard cider on tap was excellent...!! I got a growler to go.“
“Very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the concert. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was worried about using their porta potties but they had staff constantly cleaning them and restocking supplies. Their wine is delicious. They have good food trucks as well. Will be back!“

“This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .“
“Harney Lane Winery is a splendid little place to stop and enjoy time with your loved one, friends, or family—and you can even bring your canine companions along. We especially loved the outdoor seating area, which feels like a peaceful forest oasis nestled among the surrounding vineyards and orchards.
It’s a beautiful spot to relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the day. We also appreciated that they offer coffee for those who might not be in the mood for wine. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the wine itself was excellent.
We highly recommend Harney Lane Winery for a visit any time of the year.“

“Cozy, little spot nestled in nice quaint quiet side of Lodi. Food was absolutely amazing. We had Spicy Red Dragon Rolls, Spicy Salmon Roll, Edemame, and Seaweed Salad with Ice tea, and hot green tea. My favorite was hands down the Spicy Red Dragon Roll, ended up ordering a second roll. Staff was kind and food was out quit quickly. Great place, come support this long-term local business. Sorry, no pics next time.“
“This is another place you're made to feel like old friends. This is family owned and they welcome you with a genuine warmth. Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. Highly Recommended!!“

“This place was so cute, the atmosphere and the people were old school. The food was amazing. And even the customers that were most likely regulars, were so sweet making chit chat with my son and complimenting him. The portions were huge and the food was reasonably priced.“

I don’t know if kids are typically allowed, but we brought our newborn and they were very accommodating. All of the wine was great. Wine tastings come in a set of 6, reasonably priced, and fees waived if you buy a bottle or two depending on the flight you get.“

“We love coming here!! It is two adults with three kids and it can get pricey. However, the food is DELICIOUS and my kids will actually eat all their food so we know it will be worth it. The owner is always so kind and sweet. He always makes sure to make sure we have everything. Once I had gone with just my kids and he helped create a safe place for them there and I appreciate that so much. They now also have games to play and the best part is that they are free. He could charge lots for arcade games and doesn't - I think that says a lot about him. We will definitely continue being loyal customers here!“

“Stopped for lunch a couple weeks ago. It was our first time dining at the Grateful Gypsy Bistro. I had the fresh pasta with bolognese, Hubby had a burger. We both were beyond impressed. My Bolognese was delicious! Best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Imo- better than the one at Pasta Moon! Hubby’s burger was equally delicious… Food was amazing! Portions were plentiful. We will definitely be back!“
