Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. “Wow what a lovely experience. Glo and team just do a fantastic job of welcoming you into the Family of Lucas Winery. The wines are well balanced and crafted with drinkability in mind. We hung out in the vineyard and had two bottles (Chardonnay and Zin Blossom) which were perfect with a charcuterie board and a warm sunny day. Swing by to grab a bottle or join their wine club. They work with UC Davis to repopulate Barn Owls. Meet Luca the fledgling Barn owl that left the Owl house while we were there.“

The wine is fantastic, the family who runs it is warm and welcoming, and the vineyard views are stunning. Their red blends are a must-try, and we appreciated how they took the time to share their passion with us.

The outdoor patio is the perfect spot to relax with a glass, and it’s so nice that they’re dog-friendly. This is easily one of our favorite wineries in the Lodi area. Already planning our next visit!“

Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. “This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .“

It’s a beautiful spot to relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the day. We also appreciated that they offer coffee for those who might not be in the mood for wine. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the wine itself was excellent.

“Went there for the first time and this place is beautiful. Doesn’t cost anything to get in. You can wine taste, you can buy a bottle and get some food which is a little pricy but it’s delicious and find many of the places to sit with umbrellas everywhere so your in the shade enjoying yourself. We had Spicy Red Dragon Rolls, Spicy Salmon Roll, Edemame, and Seaweed Salad with Ice tea, and hot green tea. My favorite was hands down the Spicy Red Dragon Roll, ended up ordering a second roll. I don’t know if kids are typically allowed, but we brought our newborn and they were very accommodating. All of the wine was great. Wine tastings come in a set of 6, reasonably priced, and fees waived if you buy a bottle or two depending on the flight you get.“

“What an absolute gem of a place! We always have such a genuinely joyful time here. It’s a beautiful, family-run farm, and you can feel how much love they put into everything. The goats — mamas and babies alike — are impossibly cute and so much fun to be around. Their goat cheese and wine are delicious, and the whole setting, with the garden and chickens, is just perfect.

We’ve done a couple of their events and they were a blast — goodnight goats (babies everywhere) and painting with goats. Next up for us is goat yoga! I first discovered this café by chance, and it has quickly become one of my favorite breakfast spots. The setting is peaceful, charming, and surrounded by the beautiful atmosphere of the winery, making it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a relaxing morning.

The French toast is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. It has a rich, buttery texture and an amazing eggy flavor that makes every bite incredibly satisfying. You can tell that great care goes into preparing the food. What truly makes the dish unforgettable, however, is their homemade strawberry jam. It is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet like many commercial jams. Even now, it’s something I still find myself thinking about long after my visit.

Beyond the French toast, the quality of the ingredients really stands out. Everything tastes fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made with attention to detail. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you receive.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and comfortable environment that makes you want to stay a little longer. Whether you’re looking for a quiet breakfast, a weekend brunch, or simply a great cup of coffee with delicious food, this place delivers.

“Really glad we discovered Prie while on a trip to the Sierra foothills. Their wine was on the list of one of the restaurants we visited and we realized that the tasting room was on our way back home through Lodi. John is doing low alcohol, mostly little known varietals. What really caught our eye was the mencia, which is barely grown or produced in the US. He is doing a low alcohol, minimal intervention version which is very clean and food friendly. The Prieto picudo was also excellent. We didn’t try the mencia/prieto picudo blend but picked up a couple bottles regardless. If you are looking for something different, contrary to the huge California wines that have ruled for too long, this will be right up your alley. Cozy little tasting room on a quiet property. We will definitely return next come we come through.“

“The service was slow at first for a tasting but we eventually had a host that spent time with us. You do have to pay for a tasting - $30. Instead of paying $60 for 2 tastings, he asked if we wanted to buy a bottle of the wine we liked for $50. That was a no brainer.“
