“Food is great, but there is zero welcome when you come in and you have to order at a kiosk- once you figure that out, you wait for over 10 min for your food, with no interaction from the 2 or so workers. They always have obnoxiously loud kids movies playing on the tv in the lobby too, making the environment really uncomfortable- it feels like it’s that loud to keep their lobby empty. But the food, it’s good! I’d order ahead and pick up to go! :)“

“I’m not from anywhere, unless you count Fremont, Ca. and my Parents always taught me to be open to trying new food, experiences, and gave me a Passion for Life, That being said, I tried it, I never liked it, until I tasted something called Halal prepared Lamb and Beef and Extra Long Grain Rice and more. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like or wouldn’t re-order from this local Family Owned establishment! I think one of the most amazing things is trying to describe the flavors of the different spices that aren’t used and typical ““ American cuisine. I found this in my travels to other cultures with other foods where you ask the person to describe the flavor, and they can’t. They are at a loss for words. And so am I? But I know that I won’t be disappointed with anything that I order.“

She helped me out and explained to me smaller options to start out with. The food was super fresh and hot and everything was amazing. I will definitely be coming back and trying more dishes! “So the rusty hook is an interesting place. It's a little bit dive bar, a little bit cheers and a little bit..... Different. If you haven't been, it's worth a try. You'll get patted down before you go in but that's how they keep out the riff Raff. The drinks are well made and strong, the clientele is usually really nice and karaoke night is a blast (it's Thursday by the way).“
