“Dan M was our host and he bent over backwards to make our visit enjoyable. The beer was truly a craft; the flavo(u)rs were thoroughly enjoyable, varied, interesting and delicious. If I lived handily, and not on the other side of the Pacific Ocean (in New Zealand) I would become a club member. I admire the altruistic driving ethos, the love of beer, the enjoyment of life and the zing for living that comes from the place in general, and Dan M in particular. If I was allowed to give it six stars, I would. What a magnificent experience!! Thank you, Dan. Thank you. Thank you!“
“Bean and Leaf Cafe is the place locals are glad to know and have in their neighborhoods. Inside, they have a corner dedicated to local art and has a cozy, familiar feel, warm and inviting as compared to all those well known chains and what they present. On top, the flavors are better here. All their food and drinks show the care you'd want and hope to find. For example, their triple berry scone is light with a nice hint of sweetness, vs the ones you usually get that are dense and have a finish like a kids breakfast cereal. This is one of the few places that the Mrs will actual have a coffee drink. Again, it's lightly flavored and works well together vs the heavy handed flavors of chain stores. I've generally been treated well by chain store servers who put up with my bad jokes, but Bean and Leaf employees are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make sure your order was right. They're a cut above.“
“Was traveling down the 99 and in desperate need of something easy to eat while driving, freshly made, and not fast food. Their falafel wrap was incredible and well worth the $10. The red zhug (spicy red sauce) they included was milder than I expected but delicious. I love spicy things but not everyone does, so I could easily share this with others. Friendly service to boot. I’ll definitely make it a place I stop at whenever traveling the Central Valley.“
“This is a great drive up authentic Hawaiian, shaved ice, joint, authentic Hawaiian shaved ice the best texture just like snow and tons and tons of flavors! My favorite is guava, banana and blue Hawaiian if you let them put it the amount on that they choose it's usually light enough syrup to not be over powered with thick syrup but also plenty flavorful! The only thing that I don't love is that it's a difficult location to find because it's right off button street and that turns so confusing we accidentally turned onto the freeway because we're not from Manteca but other than that I highly recommend! I order the small which is only $5 but it's actually what u would expect the large to be!“
“In town for a youth baseball tournament and found this spot on yelp. Delish! I had the California melt and it was super tasty and also just a really nice portion and presentation. It wasn't massive and dripping but it was just a perfect size and tremendously filling. Fries were great. Husband and son had club sandwiches and both really liked their lunch too. Would definitely come back when in town for baseball next. Only drag was Pepsi products which I can't stand. Would have killed for a Diet Coke with my yummy sandwich.“
