“Food is excellent and family owned and operated with friendly faces and welcoming owners. Food comes out fresh and the banh Mi sandwiches are always toasted and soft/crunchy and packed full of flavor and freshness! Highly recommended if nearby or just making a quick grab and go. “Bean and Leaf Cafe is the place locals are glad to know and have in their neighborhoods. Inside, they have a corner dedicated to local art and has a cozy, familiar feel, warm and inviting as compared to all those well known chains and what they present. On top, the flavors are better here. All their food and drinks show the care you'd want and hope to find. For example, their triple berry scone is light with a nice hint of sweetness, vs the ones you usually get that are dense and have a finish like a kids breakfast cereal. This is one of the few places that the Mrs will actual have a coffee drink. Again, it's lightly flavored and works well together vs the heavy handed flavors of chain stores. I've generally been treated well by chain store servers who put up with my bad jokes, but Bean and Leaf employees are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make sure your order was right. They're a cut above.“
“This place is the best! I don't live in the central valley, and finding this restaurant on Google search was a true blessing. My husband is a really hungry man, a big meal type of man, and he loved his meal choice. The server was pleasant, and the ambiance was non judging. The prices are very fair. “We finally got a Quickly in Manteca. Something about popcorn chicken and milk tea. It's like PB&J. Stopped by here for the first time and it didn't disappoint. The milk tea and popcorn was legit. Popcorn chicken was piping hot, could have put some more seasoning but still good. The place was clean and bright. Better than a lot of other Quickly. The staff was courteous and helpful. I'll definitely be back again. Next time, I'll ask for more seasoning.“

“I got to visit this Dutch Bros twice when I went to Groveland to visit my friend. I'm a fan of Dutch Bros so I was really happy that I got to get some to & from Groveland. I got my favorite which is the Picture Perfect. So yummy! The staff are friendly and fast. I wish there was a Dutch Bros closer to me.“

“I really enjoy Vitality Bowls and all of their smoothie and bowl options they have to offer. This location is in the Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley in Manteca. Depending on who is working, the customer service can be really great or really bleh. (Most times it's really great.) The cafe is small with a seating capacity of about 20 (eyeballing it). It's well kept and always clean. Not often busy and I can see it being a nice place to get some work done.My favorite menu items are the Tropical Bowl, the Groovy Guava smoothie, and the Invigorator juice.I recently tried the chimichurri steak wrap and it was a no for me. It was a lot going on in the wrap. There was greens, steak, brown rice & quinoa, tomatoes, and sunflower seeds all wrapped in a tortilla. After a few bites I felt extremely full and not in a good way. It wasn't disgusting, but I don't think I'd order it again.I do wish there were options for smaller size portions. Paying nearly $20 for an acai bowl that I can't finish and can't save for later just isn't ideal.“
“Awesome donuts and service! Appreciate the early opening, too. Needed to make a pitstop at 4:15 AM to pick up 2 dozen for my hungry coworkers. I did not get coffee, but two pots were freshly brewed and smelled great. The store smelled of freshly fried bacon that was part of a couple dozen bacon, egg, and cheese croissants in the case. I will make special trips to leave town to go to this place, that is how good the donuts and customer service were.“
