“A modernized McDonald's on a strip of several restaurants in a row. They keep the restaurant fairly clean and they do have a playground for kids. It appears they only take orders from a digital menu. The soda machine is not always working.“

We are always greeted kindly. This coffee place is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place because you wouldn't expect there would be a coffee spot in this location. There is a nice set up with some comfy chairs and coffee tables to hang out. I enjoy my time here :)“

“This was the first time that I went into this coffee shop/health food store. It’s in Modesto right by where I take my dog to get groomed in so I spotted it and wanted to come back to it. They have tons of interesting vitamins, and healthy foods but today was about getting a coffee. Cold brew is always my go to. They don’t have any syrups or pumps of syrups available, but they do sweeten it with monk fruit. So I did a cold brew with monk fruit, and a splash of half-and-half. And it was very tasty. The guy is working in there were very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated and I will definitely be back.“

“My first time at Picasso’s was yesterday for lunch. I ordered the Rafael (French Dip) and a side of macaroni salad. My wife ordered the Kingman and a side of Tomato Pesto Soup. My wife enjoyed the Kingman stating that it was “On Point.” However, she has not stopped raving to everyone about the Tomato Soup. She likes it very much and stated it was the best Tomato Soup she has ever had. My sandwich was so delicious. And in our current state of affairs, where restaurants are raising prices while ignoring providing quality options, this is saying a lot.“

“This was our first time and was a great experience. I explained what I wanted because I my head was spinning from all of the amazingness on the menu. “I walked in today at 10:43am not sure if I wanted a chai or coffee but the girl at the front helped me and said she could make me a dirty chai! Dirty chai was a 10/10, I walked over to penny university after and sat down to do some work, (it was my first time at chocolate fish so I went to sit somewhere I already was familiar with) I was there for about 30 minutes when a worker came over and asked if I was planning on ordering anything, I told her probably not right now but maybe after (I still had my dirty chai and my banana chocolate chip bread) she proceeded to stare at my food and say “I see you have food from chocolate fish😬” and she walked away making that same face as the emoji! I’ve been there before so I thought it was fine. I just wanted to share with you guys that they weren’t so pleased with seeing your food in their establishment! You guys must be doing something right! I’ll definitely be coming back to chocolate fish!“

“Service is super slow. food comes out in multiple trips. including coffee and pastries. plus a couple other trips for silverware. servers had to be reminded to bring our missing items. Food was cold! Enchiladas verdes were good, but we only got 3 and they don't come with any sides. for the price we were expecting more food. chilaquiles were OK in terms of flavor, but were dry (not enough sauce)and some chips were stale. I had take some of the enchilada sauce to coat the stale chips. Molletes are not traditionally made. they were made with sliced bread not bolillo/telera as they should be, so bread got super soggy and chewy. chocolate muffin was not good either. it tasted as if it was sugar free/vegan or something. weird flavor, hard to explain. chocolate chip cookie was individually wrapped in plastic, which tells me it's not fresh. the only thing we enjoyed was the cafe cubano and the raspberry cheesecake.“

“This place has honestly put Modesto on the map as far as I’m concerned. The owner wanted to create a one-stop shop for all things wellness, and she absolutely nailed it.
The drinks are genuinely amazing. At a lot of coffee shops, you take one sip and get hit with an overwhelming amount of sugar and artificial flavors. At Flora, it’s the complete opposite. The drinks taste clean, refreshing, and actually leave you feeling good while still satisfying your cravings.
The atmosphere is incredible. You can tell how much work and passion the owner puts into this place. From the creative drinks to fun events like Mat & Matcha, there’s always something going on that makes Flora feel like more than just a coffee shop.
The staff are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fit the vibe of the space. Everything about Flora is aesthetically pleasing without feeling forced. It honestly feels like walking into a Pinterest board brought to life.

If you’re in Modesto and haven’t been to Flora yet, you’re missing out. It’s easily one of the coolest and most unique spots in town

“My sister and I were driving off the 99 when we spotted a billboard for Cupcake Boutique and decided to check it out. We’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing. The young lady who helped us was incredibly friendly, answered all of our questions, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

You may or may not be aware of this, but your employees are in the direct sun all morning, even when theyre inside the store. please get something set up to shade that window! They deserve it, they do a great job serving customers delicious drinks. be sure it has a slight angle on it so That it is effective at blocking the morning sun roast. It would be a simple way to keep happy employees, which is valuable, plus it may help save money on cooling costs as well 🙂“

The Farmer Brothers coffee that they have is to die for, definitely the best! The regulars everyday are nice and the kids love going in and picking out their donuts in the way to school.“

“Spending time with family & needed a quick caffeine pick me up. The crew here was having a great time. The music was bumping. From taking our order to getting our drinks everything was great. Our drinks were very refreshing. The rebel aftershock was very good. And you should try the banana nut bread cream top on the iced mocha with hazelnut. This made for a perfect drive home.“
