“Starbucks who? Giacomos never misses! Staff is always friendly, drinks always fresh and ice cold, and drive thru is always quick! Best coffee in Modesto hands down! I get upset when I have to go elsewhere or someone brings me coffee from another spot!”
“Not only are the sandwiches here great the bagels are amazing with a sweet couple that run at Rocky and Gigi, who always bring their a game greet their customers with a smile. If you go there often (and you will, the homemade salads and sandwiches are great) they will remember what your favorite order is I don't know how they remember everyone's orders but they do! There are often homemade pastries flaky baklava or chocolate croissants on the countertop in addition to standard fair like muffins and bear claws. They will make a custom sandwiches on request (egg bacon cheese bagel with hummus for example, weird but I love it) They have a hot chicken cheese jalapeño Panini that's really wonderful. I highly recommend this establishment I've been going here for years and really like it. My only complaint is that they close early on weekday afternoons about an hour before I get off work I wish I could get in there slightly earlier!”
“Probably the best coffee in the country [No lie]. If you're a serious coffee connoisseur this is your place. The staff is very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. If you have any questions about coffee, i.e., fermentation, roasting, how to make the perfect cup, et cetera, this is the spot. Next level coffee.”
“Was leaving my hotel across the street, I was gonna go to sprouts to get a sandwich and happened to see this place. I got the grilled roast beef sandwich special for lunch and a dry cappuccino. It was the best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time. Perfect tight bubbled stiff foam. Excellent tasting espresso. The sandwich was excellent, and just the right size. Came with a cookie and a side and was less than $10. That price for these days blew me away. Such a good experience in every way. I look forward to coming back here next time I’m in town!”
“Got the poison ivy drink here. A bit of a wait, but it's black Friday morning and they were able to quickly go through the line. The drink is really good, I got it blended, and it's not very icy honestly, but once again, I'm sure today isn't the best day for perfect service lol and the drink itself was still good tasting so overall 5 stars.”
“Went here for the first time with a couple of friends today and it was really nice. Staff was friendly and easy to talk to and all of our drinks were quickly made and delicious. The vibe of the shop was cute, with a little box tv and a wall of VHS tapes. Their was both seating up and down stairs as well as outside and yet they were almost all full (tells you how popular the place must be). Highly recommend if you wanna good quality cup of coffee to start your day.”
“I drive semi truckEvery time I'm in the area I always stop at my favorite doughnut shop. The doughnuts are great but my favorite is the soup and a # 24 croissant sandwich. Gina is the best great personality and customer service. I would give her 10 star if I could.”
“This place is great! Sam is friendly and extremely nice. The establishment is clean and tidy. The restrooms are highly clean as you can smell the cleanliness upon entering. The yogurt was delicious and there was toppings a plenty. Thanks SAM!”
“The second-best donut in Modesto is hidden at this hole-in-the-wall shop. The cake donut is just a teeny bit crisp on the outside (so, different in style from Mr. T's) and fluffy on the inside. Selection is varied but not huge -- the strength seems to be in cake and old-fashioned donuts. On my visit, there were also apple fritters and three varieties of filled donuts. I did not see crullers or chocolate cake donuts.Don't be put off by the neighborhood (it's just light industrial, nobody's going to bite you) or the building (California rural architecture is like this -- the cheerful mural is a sign that someone is serious about this business).”
“Me and my wife love this location. We go and get the energy drinks. Secret drinks are the jungle juice and the jolly rancher. They always have the red bull and always make it a very personal experience. Big shout out to Dallas for the amazing drinks!”
“I feel like whenever I come to Starbucks its because I was weak and lazy, or I got tired of the kids asking for cake pops, probably could have paid off my car by now at 3 dollars per. Be nice if there were other options around here like small business coffee places. You can drink your calories for the day in a cup, side of coffee with your syrup milk. Sometimes I have a perfect drink, always order the same thing so one starbucks it tastes like ice, other taste like burnt espresso, wish it was more consistent.”
“LOVE this place!! Since moving here I've been trying to find my coffee spot and I'm pretty sure I have found it! Highly recommend stopping through. Coffee was amazing and the staff was the absolute best!! Overall atmosphere was great and while it was busy it didn't feel busy. I will, without a doubt, be going back many many times in the near future... Like, probably tomorrow ? ?”
“Coming from an asian background...I love milk tea/boba and have tried many places. Best boba place in modesto. My wife and I love the creme brulee milk i would say its their staple. They offer stamp cards, friendly/fast service, and nice atmosphere.”
“Had one of my first dates with my current girlfriend here about a year ago, so this place holds a special place in my heart. I've never been too much of a coffee drinker, but she absolutely loves the coffee, and theirs still delicious fruity drinks, cocoa, and little pastries that keep me coming back. The vibe of the place is very cozy and almost feels like you're at a friend's house.”
“Yee ! Yee !This is is were you find the custom name coffee " if Texas finds out " they would make a yee yee coffee ☕ good till the last drop . It has power to climb mountains. Great smiles " and a happy head quarters. Thank you . Tubbs and yee yee”
“Pure grind was the perfect patio for lunch work. The location next to the court house is ideal for visiting lawyers and professionals. The staff was friendly and helped support us through three weeks of ongoing trial by providing great drinks and fast WiFi. Would definitely recommend.”
“The gimmick for this place is that the baristas are scantily clad, but the most notable thing about my visit wasn't the young woman's clothing - it was her incredibly sweet attitude. She was very helpful. I had never been there before and she made sure I had something that was perfect for my tastes. She had a smile and a positive attitude the entire time. I will be back just because of her.”
“I just went in with my boyfriend for the first time today because I wanted popcorn chicken with my boba. Surprisingly there isn't many tea shops that offer popcorn chicken (that I know of) and I really have to say I love their milk teas. Their snacks are really good I had the popcorn chicken and they give you a lot for I think maybe 6 or 7 bucks it could be a snack for 3 people.Parking: there are parking in front of the shop as well as plenty of parking in the plaza parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp on the sidewalk of the plaza's.”
“Wow!! Amazing customer service by Fransisco! I have never been treated so well with all of my accommodations met at the same time!! absolutely recommend this place and also the avocado smoothie was extremely delicious!! Big props to Fransisco at IPho!!”
“A Modesto hidden gem. I have been here once before for lunch, but breakfast is just as good! I got to meet the owner bright and early, while I was meeting my colleagues and he was kind and very pleasant. Shared that all the art in his shop is made by him, even the tables.”
