“Stopped into Super Gyros shop off McHenry Road in Modesto. The guy behind the counter was super friendly. They are also supporters of our EMS and Police. The had two American flags on the wall. One with a blue stripe and one with a red stripe. Lots of meat on the Gyros, and thr hummus portions were huge. We will be going back.“

“The food was amazing & the service was great. Our waiters name was Isaac, he went into depth about the food on the menu. He made suggestions and explained to us how everything is put together & the background of the food and restaurant itself. He made conversation with us & was very helpful throughout the whole night. The outdoor dining was very pretty & had good music playing. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for fine dining.“

“Enjoyed the grilled Halibut with lemon, capers, and cream sauce dinner with perfectly cooked vegetables and white rice, and a house salad. And our server, Kyle, was excellent and welcoming. We’ve had Kyle as our server at lunch and he’s always happy, welcoming, and an excellent server. Highly recommend you try Mike’s Grillhouse for lunch or dinner. They have a great variety of choices in their menu. You won’t be disappointed. Their portions are plentiful enough to be able to split a meal if you don’t have a big appetite. They have a Beer & Wine only license, I believe. The Wine Margaritas are very good. Try them— in shopping area east of Costco— You won’t be disappointed.“

“Started visiting in the early 2000s this little car wash/noodle Palace called Pho Bac In Modesto California is a little gem. Really good rice noodle heats up very well really good portion sizes very nicely cooked grilled pork this is my favorite noodle place in Modesto California.

“I haven’t reviewed many places recently, but my child apparently loved the service, and how the server divided the noodles from the soup. It really made her night when she saw it?. Tho food was great in my perspective, and personal experience. Also they cater to diet restrictions like mine. I do not eat pork. They also added chicken to my spring rolls since originally it’s made with pork. We are from Stockton, and will definitely be coming back to this location.

Dietary restrictions: We don’t eat pork, and they changed the pork to chicken

“I ordered the old fashioned breakfast which consisted of sausages/eggs, country potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Delicious breakfast and I had several cups of their coffee ☕ as well. My waitress was very attentive and took care of my needs. Thank you for providing me a wonderful experience at the Old Mill Cafe.“

“5 star from start to finish and every aspect. Friendly staff. Awesome Bartender Mike, Jay chef came out and talked with us and made a great desert. Drink specials were such a great experience we had to repeat them. I have eaten in many many restaurants all over the states and this is clearly a top favorite for food and experience. Best restaurant of Modesto for sure though would be top in SF, LA or NYC!“

“Bella Italia is very nice place for dinner while in town. It is not the best ever, but we were quite happy with almost everything we ordered. The place is really pretty and the prices are fair.

We just loved the service. We were seated straight away. They have a nice wine list. Our server knew the menu well and was fast but we never felt rushed. I would make a reservation. We were there on a weekday and ate early so we were in great shape.

Most of the food we had was great. The minestrone soup was just perfect. We also loved our salads. I had the chicken marsala and it was just so melt in your mouth wonderful and packed with yummy mushrooms. We also had the ravioli in a white sauce that was so good. I would get that again. Finally, we had fried ravioli and it was good, not great. That I will not try again. There is just too much thick crust for me, but you might love it. The ravioli within the crust was very good.

All in all we would come back. We just loved the service, the calm atmosphere and the vast majority of the food.

I’ve always ordered in person, online for pickup, and via delivery and never have I ever had a bad experience here. Legit best pokebowl place in town and will always be my go to place. I have always ordered the same thing every single time and never has it ever disappointed me in the slightest.

I will say tho, prices have gone up a bit. The average I pay for my bowl is about $18 something including taxes but honestly, 100% worth it with how much they put in your bowl. Complete even serving of everything so you get that perfect bite in every single spoonful.“

She also had some menu suggestions and some Modesto events suggestions! She said she writes for Modesto View. Austin is our fave bartender and does not go weak on the drinks. They are perfect! Good food, fried pickles are addicting. Don't knock it before you try it!!! Casual vibe, excellent music. This place feels old school and comfortable. The perfect escape to unwind on a Saturday night. Modesto's best kept secret!
