“We were heading to the Denny's across the street but noticed the Almond Tree and decided to stop there instead. Definitely worth the last minute decision. Food and service was great, we were not disappointed. If we ever travel down that way again, we will for sure stop in again.“

“We stopped here a few weeks ago hoping for a good coffee and service, but unfortunately, one of the waitresses made us feel uncomfortable by not taking our order nicely (and having someone else taking the order). We are considering coming back some other time, and give this place a second chance though. Hopefully it won't happen again.“

“Was driving back home on the 99 when I saw this place pop up as a recommended boba stop near UC Merced! It was delicious!! The mango slush wasn't too icy it was blended perfectly and the poppin boba are always a sweet surprise! Will stop by again“

“My girlfriend and I visited this place on a weekday and it was a solid Thai spot. The host/waitress is nice and greets you as soon as you walk in. I always get the pad Thai and it always tastes good. The orange chicken is also a top choice it always comes with a lot of flavor and isn't dry. Overall the spot is solid.“

“The food is very good. The service was top notch when they first opened. It has slipped some since then especially in the last hour of dinner service. The wait staff has changed and everyone is rushing to go home which is understandable but sacrificing service. Food still comes out fast, good and hot. If you arrive in the last hour though, bring your own forks (if you're a fork user) when they switch over to disposable utensils. It's semi embarrassing to see your customers try to eat a beefy rib or pho using a tiny flimsy plastic fork. You know the one I'm talking about, the white ones that bend but don't fork and don't break. They just bend. Come on, at least give your customer a fork they can use. However the food is still good and you get plenty of it. Bring your own fork.“

“Great shop if you need Thai style food. Everything from the pho, laarb, pad Thai, egg rolls are all pretty good here. It’s our family’s go to when we are craving Thai food. Location isn’t in the best of areas of Merced but sometimes that’s where hidden gems just are.“

“Service needs improvement, the minestrone soup was not good and the salad well, olives tasted old and the waiter just told me everything was fresh, not going back anytime soon, it was a experience, hopefully they will improve, we always had to flag down somebody for service.“

“I consider myself a regular customer ever since I discovered this restaurant. I fell in love with their food, especially the Chicken Pad Thai, vegetarian egg rolls, tom yum soup, orange chicken, and drunken noodles. In my opinion, this is the best Chicken Pad Thai in the 209 area. The staff is always welcoming and the food is consistently delicious. I truly appreciate this place and would highly recommend it.“

“We stopped in recently for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The man who took our order gave us recommendations and was very friendly. They even gave us a complimentary basket of fries while we waited for the rest of our food. The pizza was delicious and I really enjoyed the crust. The garlic cheese breadsticks were really good as well. The prices were very reasonable and the customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back.“

“We stopped by here on our way back from Yosemite and we're honestly really satisfied!! Great and attentive service. Portions here are ginormous!! Definitely can split between two-- most of us togo'd our food. Pad see ew - a bit too dry for my taste. With the massive portion of noodles, it was a bit bland and I honestly think it just needed more sauce and frying time. Pad thai - the best dish I tasted here, super flavorful and again, plentiful portions!! Yellow Curry - HUGE portion yet a super flavorful curry, strong coconut taste This spot is a small and quaint but lovely dine-in spot for car full of hungry people!!“

“The food was great. I ordered the fish burrito. It was my first time ordering that item here. I wanted something not too heavy. It was perfect. The fish inside was breaded, and it was two pieces inside. Added their salsa along with the jalapeños and carrots. Service was prompt and quick. Inside the building was clean with very minimal decor.I would order this again in the future.“

“My kids love coming here for desserts and drinks. We've always had good service. Lately I've been enjoying their hot pot. There's 4 different varieties. All of them have the same protein in them, only difference is the soup broth. There's a little photo op area. They change it up with the season.“

“Convenient location near 99 entrance ramps in a building that could be mistaken for a residence. Fast service, extremely generous portion (i got a $12.95 noodle soup that lasted 5 meals!). A busy restaurant, most patrons seem to be Thai and spoke their language with the staff. I take this as a sure sign of good authentic food. The "atmosphere" is basic, no frills, lo-heeled, 1980s wood paneling and linoleum wood grain tables (which seat 4)and floors. The cook came out of the kitchen to ask how I liked my soup. It was perfectly on the spicy side. If you want your food mild you should ask for it that way in advance. The menu is relatively simple with ingredient descriptions of the dishes. It was easy for me to choose exactly what I was in the mood to eat.“

“We were charged an extra $13.00 for items we didn’t order. Not much flavor in the food or the Bloody Mary.“
