“This is a MUST stop when passing through. This historic restaurant has been always the 1st place to eat when heading north on the 5. Of course the pea soup, the Monte Cristo is large enough to have eat one and take the other half to go. This is the LAST LOCATION so make sure and grab a bite and preserve a piece of roadtrip history.“

“We were very pleased with the service. We attended several catered events, this was a first at "The Kitchen". Waiter was very knowledge. Asked him several question about the menu. He was extremely polite. I asked if the salmon is wild or farmed? He asked the chef and suggested the Halibut. It was cooked to perfection. The presentation was amazing, and food was even better. The outdoor dining is plus for Families with small children. The Grounds and landscape are just amazing. Great atmosphere!!! We enjoyed the whole experience.“
