“After a long day of driving it was a nice to end the day eating dinner at Tumeric Indian Cuisine. VIsited based on the very good reviews and were not disappointed. It sits in a small retail complex with easy to get parking. We ordered a pint of Flying Horse and Old Monk lagers which were both good and smooth and went well with the spicyness of the food. Ordered the tofu tikka masala - delicious - and the shrimp chilly appetizer along with garlic naan and the Indian salad. Chose the medium spicy level for the tofu and shrimp and it was definitely spicy, my companions would've opted for mild if they known how spicy medium was. We were the only one's in the restaurant for most of our meal during a weekday and they seemed to have quite a bit of takeout orders. Overall, highly recommend, service was great too.“

“Ordered some sandwiches for lunch, when we went to pay the lady behind the counter noticed I put no tip. I called in the sandwiches. I drove there and I picked them up. They had to do absolutely nothing extra except for their job and then wanted a tip on the end of it. Tips are for when you go above and beyond not when you’re doing the bare minimum for a pick up phone order. Good sandwich, but probably won’t be back“

“Service needs improvement, the minestrone soup was not good and the salad well, olives tasted old and the waiter just told me everything was fresh, not going back anytime soon, it was a experience, hopefully they will improve, we always had to flag down somebody for service.“

“We LOVED every aspect of our lunch at Destino’s. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful and the owner was so accommodating to both our dog and toddler on their patio. The patio and inside of the restaurant were both decorated with such warm charm and coziness. The owner even took extra time to reccomend local activities for us to do with our toddler. I would highly recommend this resturant for anyone looking for a yummy family outing.“

“This has been my go to place! I’ve tried many places in Merced that serve pho and although many are good, their pho broth will always be my favorite! Also this is the best place for pad Thai hands down:) I introduced my coworkers to this spot and it’s our go to place for lunch outings. We always get a plate of orange chicken, egg rolls, chicken fried rice and chow mein. Always hits the spot! Great service and great food.“

“The food is AMAZING. Portions are huge, I always have leftover for lunch the next day. The lobster dishes are delicious and the beef rib pho is perfection. The only downside is that it gets a little bit smoky inside, but it’s generally very pleasant atmosphere. Love having dinner here.“

“The food is pretty good and I'm glad because there are no Thai restaurants in my town and this is a commute for me. Now, whenever I am in the area, I have a new place to eat. The yellow curry is more soupy than other places I have tried but the taste profile is spot on and it pairs well with the rice. Their hot honey wings are great and the sticky mango rice is just sweet enough. The pad Thai noodles are one of my favorites. Bring a jacket because the AC really cranks.“

“I ate at the pavilion during a tour from my high school and it was decent but here at the dining center my man Gilbert the Frog got laid out and we don't know who dunnit. Our tour guide Miguel Cruz was also chill and had the right answers to most of our questions but didn't know who killed our guy. Rest in Peace my boy Gilbert??️“

My personal recommendation bacon cheeseburger with white onion and jalapeños. Oh I almost forgot they make great Mexican food too!
But have a bacon cheeseburger with all of the fixings except tomatoes.

“This restaurant reminds me so much of someone's hometown visit to savor mother's home cooked food. No frills, down to earth and unpretentious. You just get good food and service. May not be for some if bright lights and modern decor is your thing. Loved it.“

With the food being amazing and the Atmosphere being welcoming, I don't know why it being out of my way is an excuse to not come back here from time to time. I totally recommend this place to anyone wanting some authentic Thai Food. Also if you love spicy, they will deliver.“
