“Service is super slow. food comes out in multiple trips. including coffee and pastries. plus a couple other trips for silverware. servers had to be reminded to bring our missing items. Food was cold! Enchiladas verdes were good, but we only got 3 and they don't come with any sides. for the price we were expecting more food. chilaquiles were OK in terms of flavor, but were dry (not enough sauce)and some chips were stale. I had take some of the enchilada sauce to coat the stale chips. Molletes are not traditionally made. they were made with sliced bread not bolillo/telera as they should be, so bread got super soggy and chewy. chocolate muffin was not good either. it tasted as if it was sugar free/vegan or something. weird flavor, hard to explain. chocolate chip cookie was individually wrapped in plastic, which tells me it's not fresh. the only thing we enjoyed was the cafe cubano and the raspberry cheesecake.“

“Today we had a retirement party at La Parilla with about 35 people. It went flawless! The staff was super helpful and kind. They food was great. Everything was perfect and everyone had a great time. The price point was perfect too. It exceeded my expectations! Thanks La Parilla!!“

I decided to go and found they had a nice ribeye steak on their menu and decided on that. It was definitely the right choice!! It was cooked to perfection, it was tender, it was quality and it had all the flavor that a grade A ribeye should have!! They seasoned it to perfection and even had me check the cut before indulging in it. The staff was so kind and attentive. The restaurant is nice and quiet and the place had a beautiful deco of ambiance. If you're ever in Oakdale or want to to try a unique and savory menu with a great spin on some amazing dishes, do not pass on this place, it is definitely worth a try. The have amazing soups too!
