“Had 2 hours to kill in Merced waiting for Amtrak so walked 20 minutes down to Main Street. All the restaurants were closing 45 minutes too early. Decided to get a beer at the 'only gay bar in thr village'. Bartender was incredibly nice. Beers were good--and a nice selection. They have wheats, sours, an incredible canned cream ale and other options (not just IPAs like everywhere nowadays). Fun table games to pass the time. Alright Merced!”

“We LOVED every aspect of our lunch at Destino’s. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful and the owner was so accommodating to both our dog and toddler on their patio. The patio and inside of the restaurant were both decorated with such warm charm and coziness. The owner even took extra time to reccomend local activities for us to do with our toddler. I would highly recommend this resturant for anyone looking for a yummy family outing.”

“I had a lemon drop martini, I'm guessing I was served by different bartender than the 1st time I've been here. I love my lemon drop to be pretty sour. Too much sugar on the rim for me. Maybe half of the rim can be coated with sugar so it's not too sweet or not so caked on like the 2nd time I drank here.”

“Drove down from Sacramento to pick up a Mission Style Curio that we purchased over the phone after finding the cabinet online. Once we were loaded and ready to go, she offered up a great place to eat about 5 minutes away called H&W Family Drive-In where her sister works as a cook. We took her up on the offer because we were starving and hadn't had lunch. I enjoyed one of the best burgers that I have ever had. It was not on their menu but was recommended by Lulu at Miranda's Furniture. The Yeyi Burger!! Jalapeños, Bacon, Avocado and more! It was amazing!! Awesome customer service! Friendly employees. Fast service! Excellent Burgers!! Great experience from H&W Family Drive-In and Miranda's Furniture. Well worth the trip! Thank you so much.”

I really enjoy it. I usually make it for the lunch buffet. They have a good selection of popular items. I wish there were more sweet offerings.

I came back today and ordered the Lamb Korma. It was delicious! Complex flavor I have not found in some other kormas. I also had the ras malai, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was also delicious. Last week the Lamb Biryani. 2 thumbs up. 👍👍.”

“Ordered some sandwiches for lunch, when we went to pay the lady behind the counter noticed I put no tip. I called in the sandwiches. I drove there and I picked them up. They had to do absolutely nothing extra except for their job and then wanted a tip on the end of it. Tips are for when you go above and beyond not when you’re doing the bare minimum for a pick up phone order. Good sandwich, but probably won’t be back”

“Google reviews asks the wrong questions. This is Take Out Only. The facility is clean, the staff is helpful, and my pizza is on time 99% of the time. The first 9 days of the month are usually busier than the rest of the months, because they do take EBT. We tend to order before the rush. I like the various crust options, I usually do a thin crust, which I bake on my bottom rack. Instructions always included with the pizza.

I recently got my free pizza with points. DId 1/2 and 1/2 specialty pizzas with my husband and it turned out great. Only thing is that my half was vegetarian, so the crust was a little wet, so I flipped mine on some aluminum foil and put it in the toaster oven for 5 minutes. Turned out great.”

“Order the nachos it was OK kinda eat it all because very filling for one but for two the meat just wasn’t crispy enough and it was too much cheese but other than that the service is great. I got plenty amount of food. I don’t think it’s gonna be good to eat later because nachos but I will nonetheless say spice is OK. Yes I would return. Yes I would recommend it, but I need to try more of their menu before I can speak further the service is wonderful. “I've been coming here since I moved here Merced back in 2010. This has always been my most favorite restaurant that when my two children were able to eat regular food we'd let them have pho and it's our family's most favorite place to dine out whenever we have the chance! Their food would always come out with good quality and flavor, service has always been quick, they have always been so kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is always clean. It's definitely a place I'd recommend for eveyone to come and try out.”

“The food is always delicious. I’ve always been a satisfied customer. The portions are good. The Super Quesadilla is HUGE!!! The chips are good and the salsa has lots of delicious hot flavors! If you dine in, make sure you order a large drink as they don’t do free refills. One thing about Villa’s is they are always consistent with very savory food and good customer service.

“It’s a small but cozy and it feels more home-like than restaurant style. Food is top tier especially for being in the Central Valley (I’m originally born and raised in the bay so I’m really picky about my food). This is one my favorite places to eat in Merced, I’ve eaten here a handful of times and their food never disappoints. You can tell the chef pours a lot love into the recipes. My only complaint is I wish they were equipped with more than one high chair. During my recent visit, I dined in with my one year old but there was another family already occupying the only high chair they have.”

“We where passing by on the way back home that was far and decided to give it a try. Its like a little hole in the wall but it was packed. We got the pick 3 combination plate, kids lunch and two drinks. We spent about $60 with tip for two adults and a 4 year old. Food was flavorful and the tamale was my favorite of all. Some of the items felt like they just heated it up from the microwave besides that im happy we gave it a try. Food was great and the service was good too. I wished the chips are made fresh but the hot salsa was spot on.”

“I have eaten here off and on since it opened. Yesterday was my birthday and I was craving some good ramen. We ordered to go a mild tonkatsu Ramen extra egg and it was quickly ready. We personally made a side stop and drove home. Got home and started eating it and it was more a medium-hot spicy level this time. I couldn't eat it since I have had a previous GI surgery so I asked my partner to ask for remake because it was really what I was craving. My partner gets there and they close at 9pm, she got there at 8:55pm because we thought they closed at 10pm. A staff asked her what was wrong and she explained. ALL THE STAFF WERE SO POLITE TO HER. They re-turned on the stoves and made me a fresh new ramen. It made my night. They corrected the problem and made my birthday with a free special drink. Thank You Bao-Bao.”

“This place is half A&W and half KFC. There is one counter to order from both menus. I had the Wednesday special which was one piece I have chicken fried steak with gravy two sides and one biscuit for $5.99. My grandson ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink and I believe it was approximately $12.99. The burger was huge! Not to mention fresh and looked very yummy.”

By the time we ate both so much meat fell out my wife had enough for another taco. Good Job Jose. Their spicy carrots were also delicious. I've tried making them spicy at home and can't quite get it right. These had a really good kick to them. Their green salsa also had really good flavor.”

Weekends are usually busy and have a live dj.”

The fountain drinks are self serve coke products. This place was clean, didn't have any bad smells and was not crowded or noisy. They take ebt. I enjoyed my lunch.”

“I hardly leave reviews but I definitely wanted to make sure that the employees were recognized for thier hard work. 1st the pizza was perfect it tasted amazing and the wings were perfectly crispy. 2nd the service was top notch. Aran didn't just take our order and drop off the food. He checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed and more. 3rd we had a large group with several kids and they never once made us feel like a bother. Made sure we had high chairs and sippy cups. 10/10 would eat here again and again.”

I got the unagi Bentonville box and my mother got the teriyaki salmon and it was delicious the sashimi pieces they give you are huge and delicious. Most times she don’t even know how long it will take for meals to be done so you’ll have to guestsmate. If you come here before 12:30am on Sundays you’ll have yourself a more mature older lady that will take your order and be more detailed with you order when it’ll be done and what not. My only disappointment with the place is the $2.50 for the little cup of cheese. Really $2.50 for 2oz of cheese. Could have got more if I went I 7/11 across the street.
Other than that the burger was fire, the French fries were cooked perfect for me. Veggies on my burger were shredded lettuce and a sliced tomato. Fire. Not bad for $11.99 plus the $2.50 for the 2oz melted cheese. Perfect amount of cheese, but not for $2.50.”
