“This has been my go to place! I’ve tried many places in Merced that serve pho and although many are good, their pho broth will always be my favorite! Also this is the best place for pad Thai hands down:) I introduced my coworkers to this spot and it’s our go to place for lunch outings. We always get a plate of orange chicken, egg rolls, chicken fried rice and chow mein. Always hits the spot! Great service and great food.“

“This restaurant reminds me so much of someone's hometown visit to savor mother's home cooked food. No frills, down to earth and unpretentious. You just get good food and service. May not be for some if bright lights and modern decor is your thing. Loved it.“

“Took the suggestion of the owner of the Rodeway Inn and we were very pleased. We came in during what appeared to be an unexpected crush of people. They seemed to be a little short handed as well. We got seated pretty quickly, but waited a while for our order to be taken. The phone rang incessantly, presumably for takeout orders. I had Pad See Ew with seafood. It included shrimp, scallops, and squid, with wide noodles, carrots, cabbage, and other stuff. Wife had Pad Thai with chicken. Both were delicious but the squid was overcooked and chewy. Also my wife's food came out about 5 minutes before mine. This place could easily have been 5 stars across the board but little things make a difference. Still really good and worth trying. Great Thai, Lao, Vietnamese food.“
