“My delivery the night before was missing slaw from the chicken wonton tacos. These wonton tacos are amazing but you must have the slaw to make it work. I don’t like too much spice so the slaw evens it out. So I immediately called and spoke w Glen who graciously informed me that it was ok if I brought the food back the next day since I wasn’t currently mobile. The following day around 7:45pm I went in and explained to the Applebee’s employee working car side, Dylan, that Glen and I had spoken and he told me the error would be remedied w a new order when I came in. Dylan then relayed the info to the manager who came and spoke w me. Long story short it was a simple mistake due to the delivery app being a little confusing. I’d kept my receipt which showed I did indeed ask for slaw on the side. But the way the app wants you to remove it then ask for it on the side is a little confusing for sure. Anyways, the manager (younger, short woman) whose name I unfortunately did not catch, made sure I got my food and was extremely gracious in offering me a drink while I waited. I politely declined but really did appreciate the kind gesture for the mishap. I can see why she’s a manager. She’s a smart cookie and quickly saw the issue after looking at the receipt. I just wanted to get what I paid for-nothing more, nothing less-which I certainly did. The staff this evening were fantastic and I appreciate the wonderful customer service in ensuring I got my fresh order. And they did it w out attitude as you sometimes receive at certain places when there is an issue. Things happen. No big deal. It’s truly how it’s handled that really matters and makes all the difference in whether one remains a customer. All the Applebee’s employees I talked with this evening were very friendly and kind. So if you get a chance, try the chicken wonton tacos. I highly recommend them and the Merced Applebees restaurant.“

“Drove down from Sacramento to pick up a Mission Style Curio that we purchased over the phone after finding the cabinet online. Once we were loaded and ready to go, she offered up a great place to eat about 5 minutes away called H&W Family Drive-In where her sister works as a cook. We took her up on the offer because we were starving and hadn't had lunch. I enjoyed one of the best burgers that I have ever had. It was not on their menu but was recommended by Lulu at Miranda's Furniture. The Yeyi Burger!! Jalapeños, Bacon, Avocado and more! It was amazing!! Awesome customer service! Friendly employees. Fast service! Excellent Burgers!! Great experience from H&W Family Drive-In and Miranda's Furniture. Well worth the trip! Thank you so much.“

“Burger Time in Merced is one of our go to stops whenever we’re traveling to see family. The food is always top notch, the burgers are cooked just right, and everything comes out hot and consistent every time we visit.

The service is quick and friendly, and it’s a perfect easy stop right off the road when you’re on a trip. We’ve been coming here regularly for that reason alone it’s reliable, simple, and always hits the spot when we’re hungry on the road.

Definitely recommend if you’re passing through Merced and want a solid, no fuss burger place.“

“Ordered our food, had a seat while we waited for our food. Had my separate order come up first. Then our family lunch page came in although they apologized for the error as they said our order was not ready yet.

They ended up bringing our order to us and gave us a milk shake to make amends.

“Today my husband and myself went into Carl's Jr. to order lunch, we were very quickly greeted by a very nice employee named Miri. She tried very hard to help accommodate Us even trying to help guide us on the app. However, it was not a successful visit in the way of getting to order lunch however, myself, & my family have been staying at a nearby hotel and have been in often. I felt a very strong need to let you know that this employee has stood out above and beyond all others that we have seen in 2 weeks. At this time we have staying near and coming in?I hope to see her again in the future very soon i also hope your store takes some moments to really appreciate the true stars in your restaurant. “I finally tried this place cause i got tired of eating bad burgers from McDonald's and Burger King. This burger I got today was the best I've had in years. They have different kinds I had the bid Azz combo, it was wonderful I will be going back. If you ever want a homemade taste of years past this is it. Try it once and you will come back. “The lady who took my order was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. My order, a Western bacon cheeseburger and medium fountain drink was exactly as ordered. The fountain drinks are self serve coke products. This place was clean, didn't have any bad smells and was not crowded or noisy. They take ebt. I enjoyed my lunch.“

“This place is half A&W and half KFC. There is one counter to order from both menus. I had the Wednesday special which was one piece I have chicken fried steak with gravy two sides and one biscuit for $5.99. My grandson ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink and I believe it was approximately $12.99. The burger was huge! Not to mention fresh and looked very yummy.“

“Love the huge variety of beverages. Would be great if there were always a discount/special on something- everything is So very expensive these days. I try to take advantage of the specials when I'm aware; my favorite is the $ 0.99 (milkshake or frozen drinks. I can't remember for sure- but I always get the milkshakes. Yum!)“

“I had order 2 bacon cheese burgers, 6 regular tacos, and a meat burito by itself. Food was what was expected and though food took a bit longer the staff by window was very kind and apoligize for the wait.

I do miss the bacon cheese burger food size from back then which I believe had more meat but I may be wrong.“
