“We moved to Valley from Bay Area. This place is our favorite for Halal meat. Well maintained and friendly brothers, very helpful. We order a full goat and Chicken as often as needed and they never disappointed in quality or quantity. Tried Afghan food too, was good. Overall a great place in Modesto.

We’ve had Kyle as our server at lunch and he’s always happy, welcoming, and an excellent server. Highly recommend you try Mike’s Grillhouse for lunch or dinner. They have a great variety of choices in their menu. You won’t be disappointed. Their portions are plentiful enough to be able to split a meal if you don’t have a big appetite. They have a Beer & Wine only license, I believe. The Wine Margaritas are very good. Try them— in shopping area east of Costco— You won’t be disappointed.”

Let me explain why.Food: I ordered myself the new no meat famous star with cheese (instead of meat it comes with zucchinis) and for specifics I added extra pickles and light mayo on it.The problem with most no meat burger is that their small or cold because of the veggies it has, unlike those, the texture felt great and because of the zucchinis it was very warm and overall felt like a regular burger. It wasn’t regular for long as when I started devouring it the combination of zucchinis and cheese and the soft and crunchiness of the burger gave a constant great vibe to it. In simple words the food was AMAZING and I’m resisting the urge to buy seconds.Employees and atmosphere: since I walked into the building I was greeted with friendliness and kind people who sincerely showed interest in my responses and request, as I ordered, got my food, ate and left I was always in a great feeling of security. On top of the great service I was in a very clean place, with almost nothing to point out, clean and smelled great at all times, they even cleaned the table I at on when I was leaving.The list can go on for why I had a blast at Carl’s Jr. But I should leave that for another review, 10/10 will come back, hungry for seconds.”

“Stopped into Super Gyros shop off McHenry Road in Modesto. The guy behind the counter was super friendly. They are also supporters of our EMS and Police. The had two American flags on the wall. One with a blue stripe and one with a red stripe. Lots of meat on the Gyros, and thr hummus portions were huge. We will be going back.”

Absolutely love the old school shuffleboard tables, they have leagues playing, seems like a lot of fun.
This place has everything you want in a brewpub. You can belly up at the bar, sit at communal tables, or crash on sofas. There's pinball machines, it's doggo friendly, and there's a food truck/caterer, and live music.
I only tried one beer but it was excellent.
This would totally be my local if I lived around here.”

“Started visiting in the early 2000s this little car wash/noodle Palace called Pho Bac In Modesto California is a little gem. Really good rice noodle heats up very well really good portion sizes very nicely cooked grilled pork this is my favorite noodle place in Modesto California.

I always get the Bue coffee while it's hot and it never misses ?️‼️ it's never too sweet or bitter and it always has a perfect amount of almond milk (allergic to regular milk). “Just discovered The Queen Bean Coffee House today. It reminded me a lot of the beloved coffee houses I used to haunt in Modesto in my youth. The BLT (ordered mine without tomato) and turkey foccacia sandwiches were made with pure love and deliciousness. The pumpkin spice latte and hot chocolate were delectable, too. It was the perfect place to stop, pause, grab a bite, and begin reading our books after a bountiful trip to the library. ❤️”

“Update review: I returned to this location today on two different occasions. The girl who was at the window was nice, filled my large original tart perfectly and made sure to ask if I wanted a lid before she put it on. Exactly how it's supposed to be done! I returned again a few hours later and a guy named Cole was at the window. I watched him make my extra large with layered toppings and he did a wonderful job. He layered it properly, and would tap the side every time after adding the yogurt so there was no air pockets in the yogurt. And he listened to my request of no lid and gave me the lid on the side like I asked. I would request Cole to make my yogurt every time if I could. He payed attention to detail and seemed to put effort into the work he was doing. Kinda a rare things these days in customer service. Yogurt mill made a great choice by hiring Cole! I will be back for sure with great service he gave.Old Review: I ordered an extra large with layered toppings with no lid on it but a lid on the side. The young man put a lid on it and when I said I ordered it with the lid on the side, he just put it in a bag anyways and said uh sorry. I just put it in the freezer when I got home since I couldn't just eat it like i wanted on my way home and when I got it out the container from the freezer it was not even full. It had no yogurt on top which is should have and the reason why I ordered no lid. It was not layered either, it has spoon full of toping all the way at the bottom and topping on top of the container. I have order these for years and never have I had them not layer properly or have an employee put the lid on it when I asked for no lid and just act like it's no big deal for my request since they already did something. There has always been younger kids working there so its really no excuse for their age to have bad service. Our generation did it just fine so this generation needs to work harder and the customers request should be listened too. And the yogurts should be full. They used to tap the sides and pack them in so you actually get what you are paying for and they layered properly....”

“Old Hobo John is leaving Modesto tonight, and taking the last train to Clarksville, and the I'll meet him at the station at 4:30 and send him off with a Papa Murphy's Pizza! He'll be riding bumpy boxcars all the way to Clarksville for this years Hobo Jamboree where he'll be the Master of Ceremonies. He's got his traditional poke tied to the end of a pole and his bed roll and some canned goods, but what he wanted most was a Papa Murphy's Pizza while he hits the rails.

They also added chicken to my spring rolls since originally it’s made with pork. We are from Stockton, and will definitely be coming back to this location.

“We went on a Saturday morning and they had live music which was too loud for me, but ringing ears aside, the food was delicious. They have three stations to order from! Mexican food, sushi with Mexican fusion, and seafood. It all looks so good, I finally settled with a chile relleno burrito, others in the group had an asada burrito, campechana, shrimp tostada, menudo, and micheladas. We will definitely be going back.”
