“We stopped in to order Texas bar b que sandwiches at the deli located within the veg market. The sandwiches are large with plenty of meat. We browsed through the vegetables while we were waiting for our order. The prices were amazing compared to my regular grocery store. The vegetables are ripe and ready to eat and they are good quality. There is an assortment of nuts, gift basket, homemade pies and pastries as well as salads in the deli. As you can see from the receipt we purchased 2 large sandwiches and several veggies as well as kiwi
And we didn’t spend a fortune! It’s worth it to us to drive out of our nearby town to purchase fruit and veggies here!”

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.”

My wife enjoyed the Kingman stating that it was “On Point.” However, she has not stopped raving to everyone about the Tomato Soup. She likes it very much and stated it was the best Tomato Soup she has ever had. My sandwich was so delicious. And in our current state of affairs, where restaurants are raising prices while ignoring providing quality options, this is saying a lot.”

“I had a few tasters to see what I liked, but none really stood out. I only sipped each one. One of the bartenders asked if I even liked beer and felt they were annoyed even though it was not busy. I said that I do like beer and felt pressured to make a decision. Theirs just left an unpleasant bitter taste. The Pina colada was the winner. I remember it last time I was there. As per the food truck, I ordered a regular burrito, asked if it was spicy, and she assured me it wasn't. Paid $13.00 for a burrito regular. I could only take two bites of it and was extremely hot, not even mild. Disappointed. I'd prefer to leave a better review, but it wasn't great.”

The employees are awesome ( I believe it's father & son) they have FRESH ingredients & their hand rolls are top tier , but what really got me were their prices ! They have GREAT prices for quality sushi ! I've gotten the pleasure of trying their spicy tuna hand roll & the crispy tempura roll , both AMAZING! The other nice thing is that the kitchen is out in the open behind the bar area and you can watch the chef work his magic if you want to sit at the bar.”

“Listen, I am picky when it comes to Mexican food. My grandma‘s set the bar high. And there are two specific dishes that I always order at a new restaurant, and that is Caldo de Res and Chile Rellenos…these are basic dishes but I’m beyond snobby when it comes to them. If they mess these up then I will never go back. Lupita’s Homestyle Cocina exceeded my expectations. The chile relleno was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Lupitas only cooks caldo de res on Thursdays and it just so happened to be a Thursday when I ordered. The Caldo de Res tasted like home. I know she used the beef bones to make the broth because you can taste the oils. It was cooked to perfection with big chopped vegetables and nice sized chunks of beef. We also ordered the pick 3 and got Chile relleno, chicken enchilada, and a chicken chimichanga. It came with a nice sized helping of beans and rice. I got a monster burrito with beef and it was no joke! HUGE burrito and it had everything I wanted in a burrito (beef, whole beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The sour cream was on the side and it was served with your choice of red or green sauce over it. Bomb. I got a flan for desert and oh my goodness. I seriously didn’t expect much because the food was good enough. But dang, that flan was spectacular. The perfect consistency and the Carmel top of the flan was so creamy and smooth. It didn’t have that burnt taste that a lot of flans have. All in all, I was impressed by every dish. I would say that the refried beans were a bit salty, but the Mexican rice more than made up for that. I took time to write this because it deserves praise and hopefully gains more business as its location is tucked away behind the KFC on Oakdale road.”

All I knew was that there was going to be crab and eggs in the broil, because they offered the eggs🥚 and rice🍚 as an addition, and I accepted. But I had no idea about the other little buried treasures in my broil.
The flavor struck me right away, like a flavor shotgun to the face, and I couldn't stop tearing that crab apart. My hands were covered in sauce and while I started digging through it, I found corn🌽, shrimp🍤, then potatoes🥔, and sausage! Each discovery got better and better. By the end, I was grabbing hand-fulls of rice and dipping it in the sauce. I was a mess, tell you what.
We did have leftovers at the end but I'd be dipped if I didn't try. I was hurting afterwards.😫 😄
The crab meat was flavorful, juicy and not to hard to get to. I asked for mild sauce and it was just right, i tasted every bit of it. Everything else was perfect too, includingthe customer service. I can't praise them enough. Proverbs 22:1

“I have been in modesto for 2 years looking for a good tacobtruck around the area besides tacos hidalguense our to go place this is closer to home and will be continuing to go here we had azada tacos and tripa the salsa hits the spot very spicy I will say our meat was pretty salty though with limon not bad overall great food will be returning”
