I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to have my birthday get together . There were 15 people in our party and every thing went smoothly! Thank you again camp 4 for an amazing evening .”

Everything was incredibly fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. A gyro combo with one extra topping and tax is almost exactly $18. They have the usual selection of sodas plus 2 flavors from Tractor.

My wife enjoyed the Kingman stating that it was “On Point.” However, she has not stopped raving to everyone about the Tomato Soup. She likes it very much and stated it was the best Tomato Soup she has ever had. My sandwich was so delicious. And in our current state of affairs, where restaurants are raising prices while ignoring providing quality options, this is saying a lot.”

“I’m not gonna lie, my first time ever visiting a Texas Roadhouse was terrible. It wasn’t on my list of go to’s of places to eat. My husband wanted to go there so I dealt with it. When we got there it was beyond packed! We were told 30 mins we got seated in 15 mins our waiter David told us it would be about 20 mins for our meal. (Given how packed it was) we got our food fairly quick I’d say 10/15 mins. i noticed how quick they got food in and out and for tables cleaned for the next guest. Very well put together. We were greeted by Daniel the manager I believe and he stated for a bit and chatted with us (we’re not approachable people where people try talking to) he brought up metal music and festivals. It was nice little chat. I’d definitely come again. I approve the service all together this place was phenomenal even as packed as it was.”

Great variety for the lunch menu with generous portions and tasty food, soup, salad, spaghetti, meatballs, sausage, shrimp scampi. Love the fresh breadsticks. They sat us in a perfect place for a quiet special gathering with family, to take pictures, and semi-private sharing and an easy exit for one of the family in a wheelchair. “Just wanted to try something new. Haven't noticed this place, but read some positive reviews when it popped up on my search in this app. Figured I would give it a try. Ordered from a nice young lady, I'm assuming it's a family business. Family business is always the best start for good food. Grabbed some carne asada tacos. Reached under the foil to sneak a piece of asad. Knew I was in for something fantastic. After finishing the first taco, I could confirm that the tender, perfectly seasoned sneak peak I had of the asada was absolutely accurate through the meal. Everything tasted and looked fresh and delicious. The price was also right. I did wind up spending $22 on myself, but I got 5 tacos and this horchata is massive lol. So happy I tried this place. My wife and I will absolutely be back! Unfortunately, she had just eaten. So she was only along for the ride lol.”

“We had a great lunch together at Maria’s taco shop. It was our first time here and the place was cleaner than I expected. We also had excellent customer service. I let her know that we were dining in and they gave Free chips along with our meals. I love that they have a salsa bar and their red salsa is so good. The lettuce and tomato on the taquitos was fresh. I could tell that everything was cooked to order which was great. The prices are a little high, but I think I would still return.”

The food here is good. I wouldn’t say it’s spectacular. I ordered The Supreme Omelette. I should have read the menu a bit closer as it said it has Spanish Sauce. I am not one to put ketchup on my eggs or anything of the sort. The Spanish Sauce is basically a watered down version of ketchup. Aside from the sauce, the omelette was good. I had a biscuit with gravy and two pancakes. The biscuit and gravy lacked flavor. I also had country potatoes as my side. The service was friendly. I only wish I would’ve been informed about the ketchup/Spanish Sauce on the eggs because there is a very high percentage of people that do not like that. For my beverage, I had a large Cranberry Juice and Black Coffee.”

She was not only sweet and attentive. She also, being very beautiful, had to deal with a lot. Yet she was smiling and gave everyone great customer service. She managed to do this while staying busy the entire time I was there. kept all items stocked, clean and was doing this while not missing a beat with tending to the customers. “It’s amazing how good the Thai food is here considering it’s located Turlock CA. Turlock is dominated by taquerias and Indian cuisine. It’s nice to have something different. If you’re not familiar with Thai food just order a plate of Pad Thai noodles. I hope this restaurant is here for years to come!”

“First time here. Service was excellent. We tried both the Meat Lovers pizza and the Combination pizza. We absolutely loved the flavor of the Meat Lovers pizza and the crust was cooked to perfection. Five stars all the way.

We weren't as thrilled with the Combination, the reason I'm giving this review four stars. The crust was a little underdone and doughy. There was also a flavor present that wasn't on the Meat Lovers, which we couldn't identify and didn't care for. We sampled every veggie and meat on the Combo indvidually and all tasted fine. So I'm not sure what the source of this odd flavor was. It reminded me of cayenne, which we're not fond of. I didn't see anything on the menu description of the Combo, to suggest a flavor like this.

We will be back for the Meat Lovers pizza, and to try some build-your-own versions.”

“We have been trying taco spots all around Modesto, and this one is not receiving the praise it deserves! All the meats we chose were delicious! Carne asada was the most flavorful I’ve had in a long while of trying different spots. We got the carne asada, pastor, pollo, chorizo, and cameron tacos.. All bomb! My favorite was the super pastor fries! I had to cut myself off from eating more even though I was full.. they were addictive. Beware! Seriously though.. a solid spot for tacos.

Update: I haven’t since tried everything on this menu and I’m telling you this guy does not miss with his food. From the tacos, to the vampiros, and even the torta was awesome! Still so so good!”

“Gold Dust Modesto is one of THE BEST pizza places in town. The pizza is excellent, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the store is cleaned thoroughly every night, like clockwork. “Helped host a Drag Bingo event here, and I had never been before. What a delight! The staff was so kind and upbeat, and the entire night was such a positive experience all around.

I am personally not a beer drinker, and hardly a seltzer drinker, but I tried their Build Your Own Seltzer and was so happy with the tasty combinations I could make. I will probably ask for double shots of syrup next time I go back just because I have a sweet tooth, and I will definitely be back!!!”

“Charlie's Seafood truly exceeded my expectations. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, but the highlights were absolutely the Molcajete Kora, shrimp empanadas, and fish tacos.

The Molcajete Kora was phenomenal—served sizzling hot, packed with bold, authentic flavors, and perfectly balanced. Every bite was rich, savory, and comforting, making it a must-try dish that really showcases their culinary skill.

The shrimp empanadas were crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The shrimp was well-seasoned, fresh, and paired perfectly with the accompaniments. They were so good we wished we had ordered more.

The fish tacos were equally impressive—light, fresh, and full of flavor. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and seasoned just right, and the toppings complemented it beautifully without overpowering the seafood.

On top of the amazing food, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. Charlie's Seafood is a place we’ll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommended for anyone who loves high-quality seafood with authentic flavor!”
