“I had my 58th birthday party last night at camp 4 , everything was amazing from the charcuterie boards to the yummy Panini sandwiches everything was excellent! The servers were awesome and on point! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to have my birthday get together . There were 15 people in our party and every thing went smoothly! Thank you again camp 4 for an amazing evening .”

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.”

“My first time at Picasso’s was yesterday for lunch. I ordered the Rafael (French Dip) and a side of macaroni salad. My wife ordered the Kingman and a side of Tomato Pesto Soup. My wife enjoyed the Kingman stating that it was “On Point.” However, she has not stopped raving to everyone about the Tomato Soup. She likes it very much and stated it was the best Tomato Soup she has ever had. My sandwich was so delicious. And in our current state of affairs, where restaurants are raising prices while ignoring providing quality options, this is saying a lot.”

“My husband and I were looking for a restaurant in Modesto that we hadn’t eaten in a while and decided to eat here. We’ve eaten at the Stockton location multiple times and loved it. It was very quiet not busy when we arrived. One couple in the restaurant. After being there for about 45 minutes, several other couples came in. It was a quiet Sunday lunch. I ordered the special the Salmon and my husband had the Gyros plate with lamb and beef. Everything was good. The special with Salmon. The clam chowder was yummy. Made fresh that morning. The hummus plate wasn’t on the menu, but we ordered it as an appetizer and it was delicious with plenty of hummus for two people.”

I always triple check what I’m getting charged for. I made sure I don’t get charged too much. (Had option to choose) it was 29.99 including for 2 shakes. When I went for pickup, I was told the app did not charge me extra for the shakes. They were charging $3.49 extra for each shake. After I had paid. Please fix your app for the future. Luckily I was able to only get charged for one shake. I also didn’t see options for shakes online.”

I had the pork chow mein which was really tasty and my wife had the potstickers which had loads of flavor. She also found a great Zinfandel by Carol Shelton.”

“This was the first time that I went into this coffee shop/health food store. It’s in Modesto right by where I take my dog to get groomed in so I spotted it and wanted to come back to it. They have tons of interesting vitamins, and healthy foods but today was about getting a coffee. Cold brew is always my go to. They don’t have any syrups or pumps of syrups available, but they do sweeten it with monk fruit. So I did a cold brew with monk fruit, and a splash of half-and-half. And it was very tasty. The guy is working in there were very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated and I will definitely be back.”

The service was very good, attentive the whole time. We had simple breakfast avocado toast and egg for my colleague and for myself, simple American breakfast.

They follow the instructions quite well on crispy hash browns and bacon. The top layer of the hash browns was a deep golden brown.

Sourdough toast had good flavor.

The coffee was mediocre, but I've had a lot worse.

The guy I was traveling with kept getting bit by a bug he thinks maybe a mosquito probably because the door was open. That forced us to leave a little bit earlier then planned.

Overall I probably wouldn't return to this place because of the hot room and bug bites. But the food and service was good which is why the review is a 4.”

“Came here for a special anniversary dinner that I really wanted to get right, and the venue absolutely came through. From the warm welcome at the door to the goodbye at the end, every detail was handled beautifully. The staff had noted the occasion when I booked and made the evening feel a bit special without ever being over the top. Our table was lovely, our server was a complete pro, and the food was honestly some of the best we've had in months. Every course was a proper step up. The bill at the end was very fair given the quality of the whole experience. New anniversary spot, properly confirmed. Already discussing next year. Lovely.”

“This place has honestly put Modesto on the map as far as I’m concerned. The owner wanted to create a one-stop shop for all things wellness, and she absolutely nailed it.
The drinks are genuinely amazing. At a lot of coffee shops, you take one sip and get hit with an overwhelming amount of sugar and artificial flavors. At Flora, it’s the complete opposite. The drinks taste clean, refreshing, and actually leave you feeling good while still satisfying your cravings.
The atmosphere is incredible. You can tell how much work and passion the owner puts into this place. From the creative drinks to fun events like Mat & Matcha, there’s always something going on that makes Flora feel like more than just a coffee shop.
The staff are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fit the vibe of the space. Everything about Flora is aesthetically pleasing without feeling forced. It honestly feels like walking into a Pinterest board brought to life.

If you’re in Modesto and haven’t been to Flora yet, you’re missing out. It’s easily one of the coolest and most unique spots in town

“I have been in modesto for 2 years looking for a good tacobtruck around the area besides tacos hidalguense our to go place this is closer to home and will be continuing to go here we had azada tacos and tripa the salsa hits the spot very spicy I will say our meat was pretty salty though with limon not bad overall great food will be returning”
