Okawa Sushi is definitely a hidden gem! Even though it's only been a year since they opened, they have been constantly making new changes, only for the better. Ambiance, food quality, and customer service is top notch. Please be sure to give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!
We have eaten at Okawa about a half dozen times now, and have a pretty good feel for the menu. Their sashimi items reflect absolutely meticulous attention to detail. Tonight I had the Otoro. The quality is amazing. I continued with a mixed shrimp and scallops hibachi. They originally served this dish on a hot salt slab. I was really wondering if I would miss this feature, but I don’t. So I don’t ever do reviews for anything but I was just so impressed that I am compelled do to so. Ive been looking for a legit local spot for ramen for a while now, and a lot of the places around here just fall flat. I feel the people preparing the food here actually care about the quality they put out to the dining room. Every aspect of the ramen was taken into consideration and it showed.
