Helped host a Drag Bingo event here, and I had never been before. What a delight! The staff was so kind and upbeat, and the entire night was such a positive experience all around.
I am personally not a beer drinker, and hardly a seltzer drinker, but I tried their Build Your Own Seltzer and was so happy with the tasty combinations I could make. I will probably ask for double shots of syrup next time I go back just because I have a sweet tooth, and I will definitely be back!!!

Black Orchid Brewing is a brand new, black owned brew pub in Modesto, California, and a real black gem. The beer is absolutely wonderful, well executed, and brewed on the premises, with a great selection and tasty product. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and kind, giving off a positive vibe in this family owned spot. It is dog friendly, with a super friendly dog that wears black orchid swag. The place is small, cute, and very new, with games to play while hanging out. There are seltzer options for those who don't like the hops, including a Build Your Own Seltzer with tasty combinations. Brews are delicious and a flight is always available. The owners/brewers shared their history of coming together as a local business, and the loyal customer base adds to the cool spot's good vibes. Definitely worth checking out.
