“I'm literally obsessed with this place. I found out about it on Tiktok. I'm from Turlock so anytime I'm in Modesto I make sure to go. I always get their chicken family pack and it comes with beans, rice, macaroni salad, and lots of corn tortillas. I also get their pork ribs with bbq and omg it's the best! They grill their meat outside so when you pull into the parking lot you could see and smell it. I always take it to go, and they're very fast with your orders and friendly customer service. They have nice seating inside too with big flat screen TV's. Honestly guys I'm Mexican and have tried a lot of places but this place is definitely a hidden gem. A little hole in the wall 🩷“

“I recently visited this KFC, and I had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant was clean, the dining area was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The staff greeted customers with a smile, were polite, and prepared my order quickly.

The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with great seasoning. The fries were hot and crispy, and the drinks were served cold. Everything in my order was correct, and the portions were satisfying.

Even though the restaurant was busy, the service remained fast and organized. It's clear that the staff work hard to keep the place clean and provide good customer service. Overall, this is a great place to grab a tasty meal at a reasonable price. I would definitely visit again and recommend this KFC to friends and family.“

“My first time at Church's Chicken, WOW! The chicken tenders are fantastic, crunchy batter on the outside covering the most tender chicken! The biscuits were soft and warm with a hint of honey. “I’ve stopped at this location many times over the last 20 years for gas or a soda and snacks, and for the first time today finally tried the chicken. Prior to today I’ve only had the biscuits which are ADDICTING! The only biscuits that come close to as delicious are Texas Roadhouse but really Texas has rolls, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken has actual biscuits.

Anyways, I was disappointed with my purchase today only because I had to get chicken tenders instead of a thigh or leg, and they don’t sell all the side options which are printed on the menu. I wanted red beans and rice and had to get the wedges.

However, I am so satisfied with the food I got that I stopped eating before i finished to type this review. I will definitely be stopping for food here more often. Hoping to try an actual chicken piece besides the tenders one day.“

“Excellent service, clean inside and out of the restaurant, super friendly manager and customer service. I noticed that once someone is done eating that the manager goes and wipes down the table right away. I've been to different KFC's and I highly recommend this one on Oakdale. I will be coming back to this particular KFC. I also noticed some elderly people come in and was dinning in and the manager took them their food. Now there is not many fast food restaurants that does that.“

“Great food for sure, I just have a fixable request. When ordering from drive thru. I received the wrong order? And it's always the higher priced meal. This happened to me two times. I don't know if staff misunderstood me while ordering or another reason. Please do better with this request. Thanks“

“I love this place. The food is very good (for fast food), and the service I've gotten has been excellent. The last time I was there was November of 2025, so not that long ago.
I particularly like their chicken strips, potato wedges, and cole slaw. They've got some very tasty dipping sauces. If you're into spicy, I highly recommend you try their yummy Mango Habanero sauce! You can't go wrong here.
Many people do, I know, but most don't realize this used to be a Foster Farms Chicken restaurant, owned and run by them. I ate there regularly back in the 1970's and 1980's, so I have a ton of fond memories of that.
The parking there can vary widely. During Christmas time, for example, finding parking can be difficult. Most times though, parking is plentiful. Go make some memories of your own.
