“We went on a Saturday morning and they had live music which was too loud for me, but ringing ears aside, the food was delicious. They have three stations to order from! Mexican food, sushi with Mexican fusion, and seafood. It all looks so good, I finally settled with a chile relleno burrito, others in the group had an asada burrito, campechana, shrimp tostada, menudo, and micheladas. We will definitely be going back.“

“Delicious tostadas and burritos. I added beans to the tostada, and it was super good. I loved the hot sauce; it just needed a little salt, which was already provided. Plenty of parking and a little table and canopy to sit. Great price! They accept cash or cards.“

“After stopping in for drinks a couple weeks ago, I just stopped by for some food. Had the tortilla soup and side salad. OMG, the soup was beyond incredible. Lots of chicken, avocado slices, in a large bowl. A meal unto itself. Reasonably priced and delicious, what a combination!
The new owners are very friendly and there seems to be regulars that visit. I'll be one of them ?“

“As of 6/21/24 they still don't have a liquor license. With that said, the service was great. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and I really liked the vibe and theme. The food was delicious. I ordered two carne asada tacos and despite not being able to order a beer they were totally on point. The meat was juicy and tender, the salsa was good, and the tortilla was delicious. The grilled jalapeño and onions were a delicious bonus. I will definitely go back.“

Their tortas are authentic and delightful.
Their sauce is one of the best sauces in Modesto salsa con chiles asados.

“Don’t let the outside of the building scare you! Took the family, food was awesome and the staff extremely kind. The asada super burritos were hot and full of great flavor and the slices of avocado were super fresh. Loved every bite. The rest of the family had tacos, chimichanga, and a plate of rice, beans and fries for the kids. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I also ordered a horchata that came in a large mug which was excellent as well. Service was friendly and generous, though with the limited staff food was a little slow coming out, but there was plenty of free chips and salsa to snack on while waiting.

Kid-friendliness: Staff was kind to our 3 young kids, and helped move tables together to accommodate our family. Restaurant was quiet and felt safe for our one son who is on the spectrum.

“I decided to stay on Modesto and check out a few of the local Taquerias and went to the Taqueria Mis Compadtes Restaurant because my pal Coco Lopez told me they're the best in the valley! “My favorite restaurant in Motown!! Love their wet Chile verde pork burritos! My husband and 3 sons love all their food But last time I ordered my chile verde two weeks ago it had asada beef?!?!? I don’t know what happened. We are regulars there and spend $80 a visit twice a month since they opened which was after the pizza place closed, I called about it and was put on hold 15 minutes no one ever came back on. That is the only negative.“
