“My daughter and I had a really good early dinner here at Harvest Moon. The portions are big and their staff is friendly. It's a small space inside, but it has a home feel to it, maybe because it once could have been or because it has a very welcoming vibe. The music they were playing was great from Aretha Franklin to Whitney Houston and others, not at all loud, but pleasantly heard. We forgot our left overs and the waitress who took our order ran out and gave us our left over container. She didn't have to do that as most restaurants do not, but she did and that was really nice of her to do. I will definitely be back I loved our food and everything about this restaurant!“
“This is a small family owned and run business. It is a hole in the wall but it is well established and been around for years. The locals find this place to be a true gym when craving fish. I personally don't eat fried food often but the food was good. Hush puppies were excellent, a little smaller than I expected. The fish was delicious and good size portions cooked to perfection! The coleslaw was not good at all! It was bland and tasted like mayonnaise and cabbage. I was highly disappointed in the coleslaw so I suggest you pass on it, don't waste your money. There is no service as you place your order at the counter and then they call your number to retrieve your food when it's ready. Only thing I can say is they are friendly and patient while you peruse the menu searching for what you want to eat. I highly recommend you stop by and try this place out if ever in the area! I just as highly recommend you skip the coleslaw! Parking is limited and can be a challenge for anyone who may not want to or can't walk too far. We got lucky as we went at the opening of the restaurant so we got front row parking right in front of the door. It is located in a busy strip mall so that is where I foresee it could be challenging. “Ahhhh...the smell of crabs and shrimp permeate It may seem that it is expensive but a $54.00 bag of a whole crab, shrimp, corn and potatoes on a sauce of your choice is a bargain. It satisfies 2 people and is absolutely delicious. You will be able eat caveman style and there will be a mess at the end. How perfect! Oh, and put your phones away or be sad that it went swimming in sauce.“
“Update: March 2024We came again Thursday for their new Prix fixe menu. You've got to try it! We had a tasty arugula salad with the perfectly tangy vinaigrette. The second course was short ribs with mashed potatoes and veggies. A little pepper would have helped, but still the meat was very tender, potatoes creamy and veggies with just the right crunch. Dessert was creme brulee, yum, one of my favorites.We had a large group and sat outside in the patio. The food was good. We tried several appetizers and they were excellent. My chicken dinner was only OK, but my husband loved his steam. Dewz, though, had an even better streak in his opinion. When the sun went down, there was outdoor heading and fire puts to keep us warm. Two nights later Surla's catered a dinner at the Vet Center and that was fantastic. We'll be back.“

“The food was delicious and there is a wonderful variety of seafood dishes. The server was attentive but trying to hear her was difficult. My biggest complaint was the noise. I didn't mind the karaoke, there were some pretty good singers, but do they have to have the volume maxed out on the system? I mean there were only about a dozen people in the whole restaurant! It really affected being able to enjoy the meal. I probably won't be back unless I know they don't have the music going.“
“At first we were hesitant to have dinner here, but everywhere you go in a Saturday night is always Jam Pack! This is a hidden gem for sur. It's not fancy, more like a diner vibe but very clean. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and always kept checking g up on you mami g sure your drinks were topped off without even asking. Hubby ordered the grill salmon and I a lobster tail both cooked to perfection. The garlic shrimp was fresh and flavorful. Our least favorite item was the clams and mussels the were over cooked and lacked seasoning, compared to the devious garlic shrimp we ordered. I ordered a mojito I ask the hostess how they make them here soda verses sparkling water the bartender specifically came to our table and explained to me how they make it and how I would I like to have it he would do it. Needless to say it was perfection! Most defiantly going back again. This will be our new date spot the service was amazing, the place was clean and the food was fresh and delicious! We are so glad we found our new to go place.“
