“Our household is so picky, there is always someone who is not happy with the food.. that wasn’t the case today, everyone was completely satisfied, not a single complaint. Asada papa nachos, carnitas taco salad, carnitas wet burrito with green sauce, California burrito, asada burrito all were absolutely delicious.. would definitely recommend them.. 10/10“

“My wife and I went in to get a small bite and drinks, the girl(host) the waitress said her name was Alexis, she was so nice and friendly, my wife loved her and she gave us suggestions and we ended up eating more because of her, thank you for making our experience rememberable.“

“My husband and I relocated from the Bay Area to this area a few years ago. Recently, we visited Sizzler in Modesto for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed the salad bar. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Thank you, Deanna, for your exceptional customer service.“

Portions of fish were enough for average to above average appetites. Went on a Saturday afternoon. Light crowd on hand but was picking up when we were done and ready to leave. Place was clean and staff very friendly. Veteran friendly and respectful. Opened door and thanked several there that were recognized as Veterans. Hats or shirts kind of thing. Nice touch. Fish was done right. It was fresh and tasty. Be sure to give this place a try. 2 piece with onion rings and 2 sodas around $29.00 dollars. Fair enough price to pay for some really good tasting not greasy or oily fish. I drove about 45 miles to check this place out. I’d do it again no problem. Could be my go to spot for a short ride on a sunny day. 👍“

“Hole-in-the-wall dive serves the best fish I’ve ever had. It’s the kind of fish where you think “I’m full, I should stop,” but the texture and taste are so perfect that you have to finish it. Fried oysters are okay. If fries are vital to you, dine in: they don’t use the kind that stay crisp on the drive home. Service is plenty fine for what it is: they are cranking out big orders at high speed.“

“Would recommend! Our 1st time here, for our 46th anniversary, and we tried the Akitaca special. The food was Great, very tasty, and you get quite a bit. Our Waiter Keenan was very attentive, and the restaurant was very clean. The only downer was that the music was a little loud for us (we were the oldest diners) and a little profane, so we won't be bringing the grandkids when we come again, but the food was awesome!“

“Very good authentic Mexican seafood (mostly seafood sold). And the portions are very very generous. I ordered 2 shrimp cocktails in what appeared to be 24 oz cups. The lids barely fit because he stuffed them so much. Money well spent and I recommend you try at least once if you like Mexican style seafood.“

“My husband and I had dinner here. I ordered the carne asada tacos & my husband ordered the carne asada burrito. The burrito was HUGE! The food was delicious! The salsa for the chips is amazing! I wish I could have ordered the salsa in a gallon size to go! Our server was Fatima & she was wonderful! So polite, bubbly & sweet.. I wish every server, everywhere was just like her! “Food is excellent especially when looking for seafood. Since this is a food truck, the only seating is outside so we recommend either pick up or when the outdoor weather is good. The shrimp cocktail variations were excellent and the mix of tacos we tried were also very good. We have also used calling ahead and picking up the order and had no issues with our order. Definitely a place that we will be coming back to routinely.“

“First time here and first time having crab🦀. The broil was an experience. 😋 I asked for their recommendation and it did not disappoint 👏.
All I knew was that there was going to be crab and eggs in the broil, because they offered the eggs🥚 and rice🍚 as an addition, and I accepted. But I had no idea about the other little buried treasures in my broil.
The flavor struck me right away, like a flavor shotgun to the face, and I couldn't stop tearing that crab apart. My hands were covered in sauce and while I started digging through it, I found corn🌽, shrimp🍤, then potatoes🥔, and sausage! Each discovery got better and better. By the end, I was grabbing hand-fulls of rice and dipping it in the sauce. I was a mess, tell you what.
We did have leftovers at the end but I'd be dipped if I didn't try. I was hurting afterwards.😫 😄
The crab meat was flavorful, juicy and not to hard to get to. I asked for mild sauce and it was just right, i tasted every bit of it. Everything else was perfect too, includingthe customer service. I can't praise them enough. Proverbs 22:1

The mariscos are prepared from scratch, it's not sitting in lime juice or soggy at all when you get your tostadas

“I always come here to get their mixed seafood salad that comes with ceviche fish, shrimp, squid, octopus, tomatoes, avocados, cilantro, onions, jalapenos and lime. I love that it comes in a takeout tray and the price is very reasonable. Super delicious ?? I always eat my ceviche with tostadas. I like their selection of spicy habanero hot sauce at the tables.? The horchata drinks are super refreshing and delicious. It's not watered down, you can taste the cinnamon, rice and sugar.“

“Absolutely delicious!! Seafood was super fresh and this little hole in the wall restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. The shrimp quesadilla was filled with the best beer battered shrimp I've ever had. I wanted the camaron da pilar, but they were out. I'll go back just for that. The pictures from the menu pale in comparison to the actual quality of the food. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy their shrimp, calamari and fish; anyway they serve it it is stellar!!!“

“I've been eating this Krispy krunchy Chicken since 2019 when I was driving truck in the Bay Area. As long as you get it fresh and hot it's good stuff to eat. The chicken sandwiches were really good though a lot of places don't sell them no more. And they had used to have a sauce called boom boom sauce cuz they don't sell anymore it was a hot spicy sauce that was really great. They started to bring the franchise towards the valley where I reside and it's hit and miss around Stockton California. There's a place down on Thornton Road that sells it nice and hot all the time and there's a place on Center and Park Street that sells it the full variety with the biscuits. There's a place on Waterloo a little gas station that sells it also but they hold back I guess they only make enough for the day because they have the option that whatever they don't sell you can buy cold chicken and what they called Snap bags you can buy them with food stamps. I would highly suggest that anybody that likes Fried Chicken try this chicken hot and fresh but like anything else a lot of fried chicken will clog up your arteries so you moderation in anything you do“

“Had dinner here last night for the first time! Service was great, food was wonderful! Two of us had the ribeye and they were both big, beautiful, juicy and perfectly cooked steaks! Best Ribeye I've ever had at a restaurant! Our other friend had the shrimp pasta and said it was delicious..Atmosphere is more like hole in the wall diner with a big bar than upscale steak house, but we Loved it anyway and the cocktails were delicious too! Will definitely be back again and again!“

“this is my favorite Chinese food place in town. I haven't been able to have it in awhile ( medical / dietary reasons ) and on Christmas my family ordered it. I only had an itty bitty amount, and today my husband brought me in for lunch. I'm a few weeks post op and got to talking with Sandy, and she made all sorts of suggestions to help me better pick and choose menu items I can safely eat. she was so kind and exchanged numbers with me so she can help whenever. I really appreciate businesses and workers like this. My favorite dish is the Broccoli 🥦 Beef with carrots, and the pork fried rice. 🩷“
