“Best Mexican food in Lodi....the food is great and fresh throughout the day (nothing tastes like it's been "sitting there"). Staff is friendly to everyone who enters, including kids (my son is a picky eater, but he loved the carne asada nachos). Give the staff here some business...you won't regret it.“
“Some of the best authentic fish tacos around! They have taco Tuesdays & fish Fridays as well. They have fish tacos, grilled seafood tacos, seafood burritos, chicken & steak tacos. Salads & salad bowls all very good. Hard to mark choice so luckily you can get a mixed taco plate as well. Enjoy!“
“Update... 1/30/24 - still the best fish tacos in Lodi!!! Do not pass this place upBEST FISH TACOS IN LODI, HANDS DOWN!!!I think they are breaded and then deep fried. Fajitas are great as well. We don't go there often only because they are always packed, but that's because their food is great! We went last night and it was freezing outside, maybe some outdoor patio heaters would be a nice touch due to outside dining during this pandemic...? Just a suggestion :) Portions are fair and I really like that they serve ceviche instead of salsa like all other Mexican resturants.“
“This was the small taste of the Hawaiian islands, but in sunny Lodi, CA. I had low expectations when I went inside the restaurant, however this was quickly turned around. See my ratings below: Ambiance 3/5: Nothing special about the ambiance. They had the front door open which led it to feel extremely hot inside the restaurant. Price 4/5: I felt the price was reasonable based on the portion sizes that were given for the musubi and the chicken plate. Food 4/5: The beef musubi at Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a must-try. Well-seasoned beef wrapped in a blanket of sticky rice and nori. The combination of savory and slightly sweet flavors was amazing for sure! The young coconut for $5 was a tad expensive but very refreshing nonetheless. Paired perfectly with my food. Service 5/5: The staff were all very friendly, attentive and we struck up a great conversation about my visit to the lodi area. The wait was not long at all either. I believe I waited no more than 15 minutes for my food. I appreciate them a lot!“
“We are regular customers at the panaderia next door. We anticipated this place opening and tried for the first time. The fajitas de camaron were delicious. The Plato de camaron de la plancha were also delicious. Home made corn tortillas. But the bonus...the chips and salsa de pescado! Perfecto!“
“The ONLY place with flavor in their food! Love LOVE the drunken noodles(spicy) and their crab fried rice(spicy)!!! Love that you can make any dish spicy. Husband loves their fried chicken. Our go to spot for the past few weeks now!! Staff is always friendly and willing to help. Even when we're just waiting for our to go order they still offer a cup of water ?? Love this place and the people here!Parking: Lots of parking, no reason to not find parking.Kid-friendliness: It's a restaurant. Just be respectful and not have them running around screaming and making a mess.“
“Last Sunday, March 31st, after church we had lunch at The Sizzler in Stockton, Ca., and I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries. Today, April 07th, after church we had lunch at Applebee's in Stockton, Ca, and I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries. Although at Applebee's, the price was $5.00 less, the Sizzler ribs were a lot better. Sizzler ribs were more tender and juicy. At Sizzler, I was able to separate each rib and remove the meat off the bone with just the fork only. At Applebee's, I had to use my fork and knife to separate each rib and hold each rib with both hands and bite the meat off the bone. I won't order ribs at Applebee's anymore. Sizzler is my suggestion if you want ribs.“
“A friend showed me this place back in 2020, and it immediately became a staple. The chow mein is so good, it's clean and you can taste the flavor, not heavy with mixed oils. Fried rice is bomb as well. The kimchi here is what got me into kimchi! Definitely a must try“
“Went there for the first time on Monday. Had the "Caldo de Chacal Mixto". It was a pleasant surprise how good it was. Perfectly seasoned. It has one Chacal which is basically a giant prawn. It also had regular shrimp, octopus, and chunks of fish. It also comes with veggies like zucchini and carrots. We were provided hand made tortillas which is always a plus. They place is kind of small, but it wasn't crowded that day. We talked to the owner, and he's a very pleasant and attentive.“
