“Every time we visit sizzler which is usually once to twice a month we always have a very good time enjoying our food and the service and our day when we're there we really love the menudo that they started serving not too long ago so we enjoy looking forward to that on Saturdays and Sundays and our server Ruben is usually our server when we come in we always look forward to seeing him and saying hello and he is always happy and professional. so overall our experience at Sizzler Stockton is excellent 👍😁“

“We ordered Shrimp ceviche Tostada and a Mandilona (crabmeat, shrimp, cucumbers, tomatoes, purple onions, it also comes with octopus but we opted out and the juice) so delicious 😋. They provide plenty of tostadas and ketchup and tapatio. I think you have to ask for limes.“

Their style of cooking reminds me of old Emerald restaurant downtown Stockton. You are able to mix and match anything you want. They are happy to be of service. All food is delicious and authentic. “We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, and the staff was very kind and made her feel truly special on her day. Service was a bit slow and we didn’t receive drink refills, but we still enjoyed our visit and appreciated the warm atmosphere.“

It would be nice to have more than 5 little bites for 10$. The place can be a bit slow as far as service but some people order the boats of sushi so I imagine it's tough on the chef. Overall very nice and worth the wait just wish I got a bit more“

“Stumbled upon this restaurant while doing business in Stockton. The BEST West Lake Beef soup since leaving Singapore. Very meaty & flavorful. Dim sum choice were hot & fresh with so many choices.......dumplings, buns, rice noodle rolls, rice cake, egg tarts, etc....

“I love this place so much I wish I could keep it secret! The tortillas and chips taste so fresh and like they are homemade! I love these fish and shrimp tacos and the sauces they use are exquisite. Big portions, I love all the little extras and they do not skimp on limes. Staff is some of the nicest I’ve ever encountered and the inside of the place is impressively immaculately clean. Great prices. They hit every level of goodness. I discovered this place by accident after my former favorite Mexican place gave me food poisoning for the third time and I was scrambling for somewhere else to go. Thank you to whatever lucky stars guided me here!“

“Took a good size group to check it out on whim after worship in a Sunday. The food was really good but not everything on the menu was available. The Mac and cheese is not traditional so know that before ordering. Other than the Mac we loved everything else from the catfish, fried chicken and shrimp, the yams and greens. Someone got red beans and rice and didn’t love it but other than that we have no complaints and will be back. They were smoking crab legs for Mondays menu so I have to try that in the future. I really wanted to try to the turkey leg but it was not available.

Suggestion: it would be great if they would specify what days they offer certain items. The hostess told us the turkey legs are mainly on Thursdays.“

“We stopped by because we are in South Stockton Sunday. I haven't been here for years. It was delicious. My 16-year-old loved it! We had the battered shrimp and fries and some popcorn shrimp. It was all delicious! My son said why don't we have on it in our town? I said because it's now a 7-Eleven. Tracy got rid of theirs years ago. I was sad to learn that there's only a handful of them in California. It's sad when this was a super popular restaurant in the '70s and '80s and has gone away when. It's quite honestly better than Popeye shrimp for sure! That's what everybody said. Thankfully my dad lives in Stockton and we'll just make a drive every once in awhile to come get our fried fish on.“

“My favorite is the broasted chicken. Probably the best fried chicken I’ve had. The ribeye steak sandwich is also great, although I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu. Customer service has not been the greatest in the past but looking forward to the promise of turning over a new leaf. Always great food. I must also say that some of the past criticism must be tempered with how extremely busy they usually are. But really no excuse not to treat customers as your number 1 priority. Hoping for the best.
