“My entire life, is how long I have eaten bread, pasta, pastries, cheese, meat, olives, fish, olive oil, and polenta, from this place. It’s the best bakery that has ever existed in this country. Yes. I am biased. My great grandparents knew the old man…Angelo. If you lived in the city you walked to get your bread. If you lived out in the country, (like my great grandfather), you rode a horse and tied it to the posts along the sidewalk, that still stand today. Funny how you never “not” know certain things. Most Italian Americans in this valley know what I mean. I go once a week for groceries when my auntie and uncle need biscotti or bread, or cheese, or meat. Three times a year my uncle loads up on salami that is so good it makes angels hungry! The panettone is a staple for my family during the holidays, and I have never lived in a home without the familiar Genova Bakery Calendar hanging in my kitchen, and one in my garage. Always. It’s just how it is. I lived in San Diego for about 10 years and I brought bread there with me whenever I came home. My cousin brings crusty bread, and focaccia back to Oklahoma when she comes home. I eat a fresh sandwich from there once a week. The service has always been great. There’s no other place like it in the world. If bread is life, I’m living pretty good! And yes I wear these awesome t-shirts all the time.”

“I can't say good enough things about this place aside from being filipino owned. i love the ambiance of this rustic yet true coffee shop vibe that it brings. Most of their food on the menu is amazing, well, balanced, and just enough portions to hold you over. What really sets this establishment apart is the owner and stuff always so kind , always so accommodating. The silvanas dessert is a must-have (Ube, pistachio). It is so satisfying as well as delightful! Trust me, your pallette will thank you for it later!. It's super close to UOP, so expect it to have that college bound vibe school will be in session SOON, so heavier than usual traffic should be inevitable. You've been schooled

Parking: The parking is quite decent. i suggest parking at the grocery store across the street if you're just stopping by , but dining in would be challenging due to limited space for parking infrastructure of the establishment. This will depend on the time of day.

“Wow! I travel all over the place doing what I do for work so sometimes I can’t have my “regular” spots. There isn’t much in this part of Stockton to choose from so I gave Burger IM a shot. Never had it before. First off, I was shocked there wasn’t anyone in there around 2pm. Extremely clean place with deals on menu items all over. Some exceptionally large TV’s and plenty of comfy seating and even a booth with an open end for the little ones to enjoy too! I don’t like a big lunch so when I showed up at the counter I met a very well put together (I believe owner?) who took my order and when I said “cowboy burger with no onion ring” he replied “that’s like a horse without a hoof!” I then bantered back “it’s more like a horse without a shoe, still good!” After that, I received my burger promptly but not too quick which made me feel it was actually made to order and boy was it. I only ordered the burger ala cart and after my first bite, I am a huge fan. Everything felt so fresh and the bbq sauce was not overly applied. They had a quick join option to start earning points (which I loved) and after I finished my burger in record time, I wanted another lol. HIGHLY recommend this place forsure. I will absolutely be coming back to try even more items but my standard is always a “western burger no onion” and this immediately jumped to my top 3. 9/10 establishment without a doubt. Even had a party area with pool tables and a ping pong table too! Don’t let this place stay empty, go give it a shot! Reasonably priced and way better than a carls meal for the money. “Really, really good Mexican food that isn’t the conventional representation (which I also love) you find. The staff is great. The Modelos are cold. The chips and salsa are fresh and are also delicious. I’m working my way down their menu and I have not been disappointed. I recommend eating here often.”

“I was headed for Krispy Kreme donuts or one of their yummy glazed donuts but didn't want to drive that far. Just happened to see this little hole in the wall and decided to try it out. Donut tasted fluffy and fresh and as good as Krispy Kreme but they were fluffier. The girl behind the counter was very sweet and welcoming. It's sad that it's so tucked away in the back.

“Excellent food. Good spice level and tasty Lassi. We're told they just opened so the interior was quite stark and sparse. Simple decor, folding tables and chairs and paper napkins. But came for dinner and that was tops. Had and polished of Chicken 65. Wife's chicken Tikka gave me two additional lunch servings. No complaints. Will be back in Stockton and would like to go back here.”

“I found this place by accident after pulling off the freeway to talk to a friend as I was traveling through Stockton. Absolutely amazing. The first thing I noticed walking in was the inviting and fun atmosphere. I was served by Yessii who was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. And when the food arrived, it was way more than I expected and absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a fun, wonderful place to go. I can’t speak to the mimosas because I prefer Bloody Mary’s. But the Bloody Mary’s I received were top-notch. Yessii stated they were the first ones she made, but I think she was pulling my leg. They were just the way I requested.”

“We recently visited this Denny's and tried the salmon with sides, Santa Fe skillet, beef steak skillet, and the Philly cheesesteak omelette with pancakes. Most of the dishes were good, but the salmon didn’t quite hit the mark. The pancakes, while tasty, weren’t as fluffy and soft as what you’d get at IHOP. If I had to choose, I’d still put IHOP a step ahead of Denny’s for breakfast. That said, the service here was great, and the staff was attentive and friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable.

We were very unpleased to see what I assumed to be a inspector of some sort cross contaminating the food while wearing gloves she held a tablet in her hands and was picking threw all the food as she was holding the tablet and touching the screen at the same time. She was also seen picking up other items around her adjusting her bangs and touching the food without changing her gloves or washing her hands before continuing to touch the food the whole lobby was thinking how disgusting as she was very unprofessional and judgemental to the staff who are great at changing gloves and taking food safety precautions when she came in with very high expectations considering it was their busiest time of the day and we thought she was rude when she herself was the only one we saw not following precautions !!! “Meals are so flavorful and satisfying unlike many other meal prep shops. Portions are large and price is very budget friendly . The 6am pick up is what got me to try this it out but the food and customer service keeps me going back .”

“I had the best Carne en su jugo. It was delicious and so was the sangria. Had not been there since they relocated to the waterfront. It was nice atmosphere and the breeze made it a little cooler since it was 90 degrees. The waiter was very friendly and attentive.”

But came for dinner and that was tops. Had and polished of Chicken 65. Wife's chicken Tikka gave me two additional lunch servings. No complaints. Will be back in Stockton and would like to go back here.”

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.”

“My entire life, is how long I have eaten bread, pasta, pastries, cheese, meat, olives, fish, olive oil, and polenta, from this place. It’s the best bakery that has ever existed in this country. Yes. I am biased. My great grandparents knew the old man…Angelo. If you lived in the city you walked to get your bread. If you lived out in the country, (like my great grandfather), you rode a horse and tied it to the posts along the sidewalk, that still stand today. Funny how you never “not” know certain things. Most Italian Americans in this valley know what I mean. I go once a week for groceries when my auntie and uncle need biscotti or bread, or cheese, or meat. Three times a year my uncle loads up on salami that is so good it makes angels hungry! The panettone is a staple for my family during the holidays, and I have never lived in a home without the familiar Genova Bakery Calendar hanging in my kitchen, and one in my garage. Always. It’s just how it is. I lived in San Diego for about 10 years and I brought bread there with me whenever I came home. My cousin brings crusty bread, and focaccia back to Oklahoma when she comes home. I eat a fresh sandwich from there once a week. The service has always been great. There’s no other place like it in the world. If bread is life, I’m living pretty good! And yes I wear these awesome t-shirts all the time.”
