Chow to go, where do I even start. In my darkest hour of need, you were there waiting for me. I reached my arm out in desperation and you pulled me out of the slums where I was forced to eat tv dinners and cockroaches. You gave my life meaning. When I put that very first piece of chicken in my mouth, I felt as though I reached nirvana. My face filled with joy and my eyes seen color like never before. “Just wonderful old school Chinese American restaurant with everything from steak and eggs to Mongolian beef and fried rice. And honey prawns are absolutely excellent too. The restaurant is right out of the '70s hasn't changed much since then I'm sure. I would think that this particular restaurant was a very biggie and fancy and it's day the neon sign up front with the temperature in time doesn't work anymore but the your food is great old school The staff are wonderful hardworking people. I wanted soup, she wanted sushi, and we live eastside so we didn’t want to enter town to a place with $17 dishes and tip. so this is a nice local gem. it is worth noting though: the sushi rice is not seasoned with vinegar/mirin/sugar/salt like expected— just white rice. it’s understandably labor intensive though. still tasted good.“

There are options of food the only thing I didn't like was they do not upkeep the mess so you are walking on food while getting your food“

“​I finally checked out Grand Buffet at their March Lane location over the weekend. I used to visit them on Pacific Avenue before the pandemic, so I was thrilled to see them back open. Arriving right when they opened paid off—the staff was attentive, and everything was fresh and delicious. I easily put away five plates. The only letdown was the dessert station: the egg custard tarts and chocolate chip cookies were noticeably overbaked. Aside from that, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be back.“

“It's a buffet so service is as expected. The food is good enough. Not exceptional. And the place is clean but older. No frills or attempt at ambiance. But it's the food not the decor you're there for. Order to go and the portions are generous. The soda fountain is notable. The right carbonation and syrup concentration to make an excellent drink. Not to heavy and not watered down.“

“Fast and kind service. Was seated and got our orders in all within the first 10 minutes of being there. Plenty of seating and very affordable options on the menu.

The soup was very flavorful with a rich broth. The steak was tender and lots of rice noodle provided in the soup.

The only reason I give four stars is because the water tasted a bit moldy or dirt like. I’d just recommend checking the ice station or water filter.“

It's not a romantic place but it does the job. The one thing I did not like about it they've had boxes in back of the seating area. Makes it look unattractive and messy . They should put up a wall or Chinese screens. We had the salt and pepper wings and salt and pepper fish, poinsett orange chicken which is good. And my husband has some hot stuff which I do not eat . The pho had a rich, flavorful broth that tasted like it had been simmering for hours, and the fresh herbs really made a difference. I also ordered the spring rolls, which were light and fresh. Service was friendly without being over the top, and the food came out pretty quick. The dining room was clean and had a relaxed feel. “My friend recommended this place to me a while back, and I decided to go with my wife. The food was good. We were served by a young man wearing a dark blue jacket with a gray shirt. He's got a good sense of humor and helped us out whenever we asked, even when it was busy. There are two other ladies. One doesn't speak English, which is fine. But the other lady does. The one who does understand English was really rude to my wife when my wife asked for the receipt. She yelled at her employees in front of customers and complained loudly when her employees made mistakes. Very unprofessional. The service is acceptable only due to the young man.
