“I've been looking for a local Pho place and THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Everything was fresh and tasted great. Customer service was 'on point'. I called in prior to showing up, and my order was ready when I came in. The only thing I can say that may deter some is the outside of the establishment. It looks a little run down ....However the place is clean and the food was phenomenal!!!Parking: The parking is a little 'rough' as the pavement does have tree roots affecting parking spaces. There were customers inside, be careful when walking. It's so worth it though!!!! ??“
“I love that they have info of the history of this building/the restaurants before them posted on the walls, also near pictures of Stockton's history. The food is delicious; tastes like it's made with love! Sam and his family are theeee sweetest people. This place has become one of my favorite spots.“
“The quality is mediocre, and my grandma worked at another Sherman's buffet and there is the better Sherman's buffet in Waterloo. The fried shrimp is good 4/5 Kung Pao chicken is too sour and sweet 3/5 Chow Mein is very tasty 4/5 Chow Fun is tasty but very messy, they didn't separate the rice noodles, they stick together in chunks 3/5 The food taste pretty good, but ultimately it's a "Hood Chinese food", Cheap, unhealthy, and messy. But the price is unbeatable tho, very affordable!“
“Their beef chow fun with green veggies is very good. This is a gravy-type chow fun. Their salt and pepper fillet are good but wish it was a both more crispy. The owner or part owner used to work at Asia Palace which had closed down. The restaurant is a mid-size restaurant with tables that can seat as many as 10 people. It is a clean restaurant and very nice people.“
“My family has been going to China village since 1994 or 1995. It has been a staple take out place for my family for almost 30 years. Their spicy pepper ribs are a weakness. They have amazing chow mein , chicken black bean sauce and war won ton soup. They have amazing crab Rangoons and fried rice as well. Even when we moved to Tracy we would and still do make the drive to China village, after all these years they still have the same great tasting food. Thank you for you service to the community“
“I ordered the fish fillet in flaming Red oil. Oh man, right when I receive my fish soup very presentable, the taste is very detailed, very authentic taste, I been to a lot Chinese restaurant all over California but so far this Chinese fish soup is so far by best the taste and flavor was really good I recommend this dish for sure!!!“
“Walked in and it was a very homey and chill atmosphere. An old fashioned diner with great customer service and the food was bomb. I got the honey chicken with pork fried rice. Great portions of food and I couldn’t even finish it. You really get your money’s worth. To be honest it really might be better than China Palace.“
“Was heading to the in-laws and decided to pickup food, did a quick search on Yelp and found M Kitchen. Exited 99 South and ended up driving through the country which felt like we were on our way to nowhere before ending up in an industrial looking iffy part of town. Parked and was debating going in because of the area, while parked 3 families arrived, asked one of the families if the place was good and they let us know it was their family favorite that had something for everyone. Went in and the place was surprisingly large, open, clean and the food looked good. Found out it was a buffet and prices are CHEAP. Decided to try the buffet and had the Hubbs and kiddo come in. Both the Hubbs and kiddo loved it, this is fresh Chinese American food with the mandatory fried sweet dishes. I enjoyed the spicy chicken, fresh broccoli, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons AND what seemed more like Japanese style stuffed jalapeños and stuffed mushrooms. They also had sweet sesame balls. All that for less than $10 for dinner?! 2 adult buffets, kid buffet and a 3-item to go that was so packed that the in-laws had it for dinner & lunch the next day and it came out to less than $40?!?! I felt guilty at how cheap it was and gave a $10 tip. They attract a nice diversity of patrons; families included Black, Filipino, Mexican, White and our mixed bag. Majority of business was food to go. Staff appeared to be the owners, and were very friendly, what seemed like the dad let me know that his favorites are also the mushrooms and jalapeños too. Cherry on top, the restroom was also clean! There is definitely pride of ownership and we enjoyed our dinner and will be back!“
“This is a beautiful restaurant, right off of I-5 on March Lane in Stockton. When you walk through the door, you are greeted. Walking into the dining room, you see an amazing decor. Several booths along the wall have curtains that give you a romantic experience. The prices are not what you would expect, they are very reasonable. The food is amazing. We went for lunch, and the meals were under $12 each. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.“
“It's a buffet so service is as expected. The food is good enough. Not exceptional. And the place is clean but older. No frills or attempt at ambiance. But it's the food not the decor you're there for. Order to go and the portions are generous. The soda fountain is notable. The right carbonation and syrup concentration to make an excellent drink. Not to heavy and not watered down.“
“Got food here on 2/28/24 on a Wednesday evening. I ordered 4 dishes and the total was $35. I feel like that is a very great deal. The food was delicious and the portions is generous. I enjoyed the beef broccoli and orange chicken. The wonton soup was generous with big pieces of shrimp. Just please be patient with them since they're just 2 people working together. My food was ready in 20 mins since there was a line.“
“I have been eating here since the early 90s and my father's been eating here's since the 80s food is always good service is always great I eat here at least once a month, dine in take out or delivered always hot and tasty. Ten out of ten recommend to anyone in or around town.“
“The food is always great and fresh. I mostly order their sushi, but my other friends tried it and they shared their food with me and both sushi and other food are great. The service is fast, accurate, and polite. The ambiance ranges from empty and quiet, to semi-busy. I don't know if they do dine-in still or not, since recently when I ordered it was to-go only. The prices are fairly cheap compared to other places with similar menu items. I highly recommend going here.“
“Definitely some of the best Chinese in town. Has a hole in the wall look but has a surprisingly nice dining area. They have all the standard options- flavorful and not greasy. They also have a dim sum menu and an authentic dish menu. When we ate in the service was great and they even comped us some egg rolls and a dessert dish! Not the cheapest Chinese but you get what you pay for.“
“Came here for the first time Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was fairly busy. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and the place seemed very clean. I ordered the almond chicken lunch to go and the wait was 10 mins. When I tried the food, I loved the flavor! I liked how not greasy the food was and the almond chicken was my fav! I definitely would recommend the place and I'll come back again.“
“I recommend going here for the Salmon Lover Burrito, it's delicious, but right now it's almost 15 bucks so I don't go here for it often. Burritos come with two sauces for free. Teriyaki and wasabi milk are delicious. Sesame milk is a bit bland and spicy milk tastes funny. I haven't had the rolls. I was extremely disappointed in the sesame chicken burrito, it was dry and flavorless, and had more cabbage than chicken. Fried burritos have given myself and my friend stomach aches too. So stick to their sushi burritos (it is the name after all).Wheelchair accessibility: None, no automatic doors“
“The food is really good and the price is right. I’ve been coming here for years the people that work there are always so nice I’ve never really eaten inside the place, but I do see some sketchy people around. That is why the atmosphere got three stars only.“
“Food is delicious! Large portions. I was disappointed in the fact that the state in all you can eat buffet and the takeout lunches, the same price. So for those that stay and get more variety than those of us that are just picking up but other than that, I really like this place.“
“Great food and house made noodles. Follow the advice for sauces if it's your first time. EXTRA GARLIC! Wait staff had my drink, some rice and soup ready for me at the table after they cooked my food. Pay after you eat.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan friendly since you choose if you want meat or not. Note that everything is cooked on the same grill, but they clean it often.Dietary restrictions: You just pick what you want in your bowl, but it's all cooked on the same grill. Fine for gluten sensitive, but likely not for someone with Celiac's.“
“If your looking for healthy hear is not it's a yummy flavor there chicken is so yummy the vegetables ? are so good the price is right this food is so yummy the area not a fan but is best during day time as they do keep open during the day not much to late but they very nice fast welcoming it's a family place the place in general is not as elegant place but is enough and safe to eat and enjoy“
“Great place for the freshest food cooked to perfection! The best part? You chose all your own ingredients and your meal is cooked hot!!!Vegetarian options: A variety of veggies offered to make a satisfying delicious meal. Spinach, bean sprouts, broccoli, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, tofu, corn kernels, tomatoes, Asian baby corn, cilantro, you name it!!“
“Great hidden gem for Chinese food and barbecue in Stockton. I came in on a whim for lunch since I was craving some Asian-style fried chicken and roast pork. It's an older establishment, and not much to look at. They have a dining area, however they roped it off so I guess no dine-in experience and just take out. It's a pretty casual place and definitely gives off the mom-pop vibes. You order at the counter and the food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for your food. You can also phone in your order if you'd like. I ordered their fried chicken, 1/2 pound of roast pork, spicy string beans, and their salted fish + chicken fried rice. The chicken was fried to perfection. The skin was light, thin, and crispy; the meat was juicy. My only complaint was that it was saltier than what I would have liked. The roasted pork was also done well. The meat was tender and the skin nice and crispy. The string beans had a hint to spiciness, but not too overbearing and were cooked to the right doneness. The salted fish + chicken fried rice was ok. I was hoping the salted fish was finer, but they used bigger chunks of it. The fried rice was also on the saltier side and I wish they had just been a little lighter on their salt. Overall a great spot to grab food. They were pretty busy for a Tuesday lunch crowd. They definitely had their regulars coming in and out to pick up orders.“
“BEST CHINESE FOOD IN STOCKTON AREA !I am never disappointed when I go. Food is always hot and fresh.very clean and good service.prices are very reasonable not expensive at all for the amount of food you get. I will definitely keep going back and refer to everyone!“
“The food was very good and the inside was very nice and clean however the short kinda heavy set lady with short black hair was extremely rude and does not have very good customer service what so ever. But thanks to the rest of the staff for being very polite and friendly!“
“I absolutely love ordering from here! One time they accidentally gave me the wrong order but I didn't mind. I've been getting the same Shrimp w/ lobster sauce and fried rice. It's always so good and taste fresh. 100% recommended since the food is always fresh, portions are big, the staff are extremely nice and even know my order and name without me even having to say anything ?“
“I passed this place so many times on my way to Walgreens that I decided to give it a try. I got a lunch special and it was made to order and hot and delicious. The prices are reasonable and the food is top notch. The next time I go there I'm going to get the Egg Foo Yong and I'll let you know how it was.“
“A friend showed me this place back in 2020, and it immediately became a staple. The chow mein is so good, it's clean and you can taste the flavor, not heavy with mixed oils. Fried rice is bomb as well. The kimchi here is what got me into kimchi! Definitely a must try“
