“We moved from the Bay Area to Stockton 10 yrs ago. Could never find good Chinese food. And we tried a ton of different places. Moved to Manteca a couple of years ago and resumed our search. Tried this place today.
Found it!!!
Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh and yummy! Nice portions, I was mad when I got full so quickly-lol! Had plenty to take home.
Very nice and attentive waitresses. Excellent service with a smile. Welcoming atmosphere. We went around five o clock, and as others mentioned, parking is tight. We were very lucky that someone was pulling out as we pulled in because the lot was full.
Within 15 or 20 mins, the tables began to fill up, and I could see that the counter was busy with call-in and take-out orders.
We ordered house fried rice-yummy; Mongolian Beef-delicious; sweet, and sour chicken-just the right amount of sweet and crispy; sautéed vegetables-so flavorful and crispy noodles and seafood-oo la la! All sooo good.
Can hardly wait to try other dishes on our next visit. If we can resist reordering these??❤️“

“This is a very nice location. It’s located just off the interstate. Staff is friendly, great selection of food, great service, plenty of seating and plenty of parking. I stopped in for lunch one day and the next and will definitely go back. I highly recommend.“

“20+ years ago I departed the Bay Area to join the army and travel the world. I also departed with a set standard for how chinese food should taste! Imagine the tragedy of constant lack luster chinese food no matter the city, state or country! For over 20 years I was constantly disappointed in the so called chinese food wherever I traveled. It was truly an amazing surprise to finally come home and the very first chinese restaurant I try is a perfect example of my childhood memories filled with pork fried rice, Kung poa chicken and pot stickers! I can really feel as if I've returned home. I only wish I had a bigger stomach to try all my old favorites like foil wrapped chicken, hot and sour soup and many many more! A big thanks to this chinese hot spot that I will be claiming as my go to for excellent chinese cuisine!“

“Staff were really cool. Very respectable family running this place. Nothing better than a good smile and great customer service. Food was hot and ready. Not a fan of the egg rolls or fried prawns. But everything else was hella good!!!! Atmosphere was kind of gloomy, need better lights inside. Overall I give them 4 stars and they are my go to for noodles!!!!“

“Lee's is hands down the best Chinese food in manteca! Sancha Lee is the best! You'll never be missing anything on your order! And unlike Hong Hong no roaches no tire muck all over your car!
Kid-friendliness: Every time my kids go they get candies so heck yes“

“5 stars for the price. I wanted soup, she wanted sushi, and we live eastside so we didn’t want to enter town to a place with $17 dishes and tip. so this is a nice local gem. it is worth noting though: the sushi rice is not seasoned with vinegar/mirin/sugar/salt like expected— just white rice. it’s understandably labor intensive though. still tasted good.“

“Visited at opening 11:00a.m. on a weekday, and we were the first ones in. I was surprised to see that the business name was changed to M Kitchen Buffet. I tried to ask the worker about the name change, but I wasn't able toneffectively communicate with them. The cost for dine-in buffet is $9.95 per person. They have about 7 booth tables that can fit up to 4 people. The place is casual, and seems to cater a lot of people who work in the area, and are looking for good Chinese food at a wallet-friendly price. 1-item starts at $6.95, and a 2-item is $7.95. From what I recall, rice or noodles are considered 1 item, so be aware a protein and rice or noodles is a 2-item selection. The food was fresh and hot at opening. I prefer the fried chicken, orange chicken, mixed vegetables, chow mein, and fried rice.If you're in the area, give it a shot. I was expecting Sherman's Buffet, but it wasn't. My guess is that someone who worked at Sherman's Buffet wanted to own a store, bought it, and changed the name. It tastes pretty muvh the same, and the menu & concept is the same. I prefer the Sherman's off of Pershing, but this restaurant is a good place to dine in or get takeout. Ty ?“

“This little place doesn't look like much from the outside. However, you do not want to miss the wonderful food they serve. The Walnut prawns are amazing. Everything we shared was so good. We had the beef and broccoli, vegetable gai pan, sesame chicken, and we also had the house chow mein I went with people that have lived their whole life in Ripon and they have never been in this place they all agreed it was the best Chinese food they've had.“

“It's a buffet so service is as expected. The food is good enough. Not exceptional. And the place is clean but older. No frills or attempt at ambiance. But it's the food not the decor you're there for. Order to go and the portions are generous. The soda fountain is notable. The right carbonation and syrup concentration to make an excellent drink. Not to heavy and not watered down.“

“Is it good Chinese food? No, not really, it's just okay. But! For less than the price of an order of egg rolls anywhere else you can get as much okay Chinese food as you could ever want to eat, and that's worth a five star review on its own“

“We enjoyed the lunch specials. The price was very reasonable and the amount of food was very good too. Menu had a large range of choices. The only concern is the bathroom. It can use a look over. We do plan to visit again. Great service and pleasant waitress and owners.“

“Luu's Chicken Bowl is a true hidden gem! Their #1 chicken bowl is my go-to. Their cooking technique of charbroiled chicken is a combination of a smoky flavor and a charred look packed with flavor. Chicken Bowl has an additional sauce bar where you can take additional teriyaki sauce, hot sauce, sweet and sour, fermented cabbage... They offer dine in or takeout. Sadly, they don't deliver, and they are not on Uber eats... You may call ahead and pick up.
If you come here, YOU MUST! try their egg rolls. These are the way I remember eggrolls used to be when I was a child. If you don't eat meat, then you just have to miss skip this because the egg rolls come with veggies and chicken.
Their Pepsi, I don't know if it is just me or what, but folks, this place knows what they are doing. The carbonation and Pepsi syrups are great. Usually other places their drinks taste flat, but here the Pepsi is good. Two things I want to mention It's a very clean environment, but is not your most esthetic place. Don't be harsh. Just focus on the food. Also, their sweet and sour sauce is made in-house. Okay, if you come here, do yourself a favor and try their eggrolls and the Pepsi! Crab ragoons are good, too!
Dietary restrictions: Eggrolls come with Chicken ?. If you don't eat meat, you might want to skip on these.“

“To be honest i have always enjoyed the food from this exact location. Then years later after finding out they changed names and ownership i was a little worried that the food wouldn't taste the same but ol boy was i wrong. The food is amazing and always fresh. I mean either wake up or get hip people this is definitely an underrated eatery. Owner is super nice always keeps the place nice and clean and the food hot and fresh. I highly recommend lucky house express. Yes they are covid friendly with protection barrier to keep food safe. Whether it be a quick bite for lunch or a big catering experience come on and try them out. There is always going to be the good and the bad in every post i do so here's the bad. The parking lot is full of grocery shoppers so some times you have to walk a few stalls to get there no biggie right? I mean we all love to eat, and when we find out that there's a place that's serving huge portions and has been consistently good for years why not try it.Keep up the great work guys and once again thanks for the great food.“

“The food was delicious. The server Miss Lei was happy; kind and very eager to make customers feel welcome. They have good variety and VERY fresh food... to the point that when I ordered egg rolls to dine-in they fried them right at the moment. Hot, crispy & delicious. It seems that the fish is very good because while I was there a couple of customers came asking for it.Most of customers have food to-go but I decided to stay and dine in.I will definitely come back !!“
