“Really good food here and i was really surprised when i got my bill the prices are more than fair. I had a War Wonton soup that has been hands down the best one ive tried so far, the Mongolian beef was also very good and flavorful but for my taste i need to ask for it very spicy next time, the pan fried noodles were phenomenal one of my weaknesses but the highlight was the presentation of the appetizer sampler the comes with the dinner meal and the variety of flavors and textures it offers. I 100% recommend this place when visiting Oakdale. Plus the lady that attended us was very nice super sweet she even packed all our left overs for us.“

“Food was good, plenty wok hei flavor, most dishes were very flavorful, but the beef chow fun felt a bit lacking, still enjoyed it. Portions seemed generous. Friendly service. Food started coming out rather quickly, one entree at a time, which we were happy with.

Their staff is very nice as long as you communicate with them nicely and the food is very delicious. It has everything a Chinese restaurant needs and theres nothing more I would ask for. I only wish more people knew about and ate at this place.“

“Today was our first time here. We had pork buns to start... Delicious and fresh and soft!! I had steamed rice with Peking ribs and my husband ordered the combo plate with fried rice, chowmein, garlic chicken, egg roll and wonton soup. Everything was so delicious and fresh!! “Garlic chicken and chicken wonton soup (I get mine plain without bok choy) and chicken fried rice (no egg for me I am allergic) and the green beans (yes they are spicy) but I mix them in with the rice and chicke! They're fantastic with all my modifications due to picky eaters and allergies.“

“We have been looking for good Chinese food since the Beijing closed in Modesto and have found it at Grand Asia. The atmosphere is charming with plenty of comfortable booths. The waitress was a lot of fun and was happy to explain some of the ingredients we were unfamilir with. Best of all, the food was excellent, piping hot and served very quickly. The ingredients were fresh and really good quality. We enjoyed honey walnut shrimp, their house specialty combo of kung pao chicken, and combo chow mein. Our praise to the chef! “I've eaten here twice, both were to go orders so i really can't tell you much about the actual restaurant or staff, but both times the food was very good and portion size was good as well. The reason for not giving 5 stars, is my limited experience here. I can only say our food was good both times we picked it up.“

“This place is so good and clean! The prices you can't beat. Best chinese in east side Modesto. Its def a hole in the wall restaurant but that's the best kind of restaurants in my humble opinion. Garlic chicken and pork chow mein highly recommended. I just wished they had like a homemade chili sauce that would be epic! Thank you ?

“Love this spot and visit it 2 to 3x's a week. I always get the same thing, and I reward my German shepards of their training goes well. They know as soon as we drive up. I find their chicken to be the best ever......Some of the other locations need a bit more work... But all in all....this one rocks... Keep up the good work, and thanks for always accommodating my dogs needs. (Small bites)...One more thing... your staff and manager are simply wonderful“

“we eat there often since we found the buffet a year ago. The girls in there are very on spot. They refill your drinks and wagon when you leave, they vacuum the tables, wipe the tables and the chairs off. It is so clean. The food is delicious.“

“Went yesterday afternoon. Everything was great. I tried to tip them and they said they don’t do tips so please comment. So here I am, very friendly service, great food & service. On top of that their prices are such that elderly population can enjoy great food for a fair price, as it has been for some time unlike every other takeout place. Hadn’t been in a while and we are so happy and relieved we can still afford an incredible meal that lasts us 2 days. Thank you and your staff.

“I absolutely love going here. The amount of food you get for the price is like a steal and it tastes so good. I am always getting comments that the food smells so good from my coworkers. The lady at the counter is so nice. She always calls me when my food is done. Today I got lost due to google maps taking me the wrong way and when I called she gave me directions and was very adamant about finding me to give me my food. I don’t even get leftovers because my daughter finishes it off when I get home. Favorite food to get for lunch.“
