“OK...a casual Chinese restaurant in downtown SF is going to have a lot of competition. This one can go toe to toe with all of them. Food was fresh, hot and flavorful with great service. The atmosphere is just what we would expect in a downtown diner, clean, comfortable and very Chinese.

Even if you are not staying or working nearby, the Powell/Market transit stops are about 300 yards away. Close!

“I live in Manteca and anyone who lives here can tell you, our Chinese food options are pretty lackluster. I'm so thrilled I discovered this place on Door Dash. Everything was so delicious. It was hard to stop eating even though I was full. The crab rangoons were the best I had in years, and the chow main and fried rice both had such good flavors. The honey walnut chicken had me coming back for more. Also really great portions for your money. Will definitely try more dishes soon because that was amazing. 🤤“

“We are headed home from Southern California to our hotel on the way we noticed it was a great little spot called China wok Pleasantly surprised on how fresh everything was you order something it was freshly made for you. Everything had great flavor. Super delicious huge portions For the price a highly recommend anybody who is in the area. You should try them out.“

“The food tastes home made unlike most Chinese restaurants where they taste like they use frozen chicken nuggets. They have huge portions and a friendly staff. They included all the sauces and even things like tea in the bag which was a nice touch. It's definitely worth a try.“

“I usually eat at 4 and 5 star restaurants in San Francisco for the last 25 years, almost daily. But I have to say the food here is excellent and the owner is so customer service-oriented, so you get atmosphere. Great excellent food and treatednlike you are the only customer on the planet. I am so grateful to the owner“

“It's a take out counter for Star bread. Delightful, pillowy tender sweet yeast bread with crackly sugar crust. Diabetics beware! Good thing they are small and disappear in 3 bites. Down the strip mall is a Starbucks so you can grab a hot black coffee to enjoy your star bread with. Also have meat empanadas on site too.
Located just a mile away from Legacy sport fields. Next door to McDonald's and in n out.

“We had shu mai and shrimp dumplings, a hot pot with small tender black fungus and eggplant in in rich sauce with hot chili peppers and ginger- we finished with coconut rabbits for dessert. It was all very delicious- high quality. Great service and friendly attentive staff. We will return soon!“

“Loved it. Wish I had one in my town. Pile on everything you want, I mean pile it on , sauces you want , then give it to the cooks and whatch as they cook. Very good , pick all you like leave out what you don't. Price is excellent. Dine in or out.“

“The teriyaki chicken is so tender! Chow mein noodle size has changed multiple times over the years, but in the present, it's not super thin or thick. The steamed vegetables are garlicky and nice to cut the grease of other sides. The family pack is a great deal and you can have multiple meals (unless your family is large!).“
