“Hana Sushi is definitely a hidden gem! The owner, Melissa, is so kind, humble, welcoming, and incredibly talented. The first time I walked into the restaurant I was taken aback by the beautifully decorated space. I later learned that this is a family owned business and Melissa’s husband designed the space himself! Their daughter is attentive and accommodating, and she really makes sure that customers have an extraordinary experience.

I ordered too much food and finished it all! I even was tempted to order more! Each time a new dish came out of the kitchen for another customer, I wanted to try it! EVERY SINGLE THING LOOKED DELICIOUS!

“This review is for their truck out on Hammer Lane and El Dorado St. The cashier explains well the cost of the food's add-ons included in the food. I understood her however I was aware she didn't realize I did. Bless her heart. As a customer I wish no harm even frustration to the workers including the cashier. Towards the end she still put on a smile and when our eyes met I seen how much her job means to her. Thank you to all the workers on the truck today 12-09-2020. “Food was pretty mid, enjoyable but I've had better honestly. Menu should specify if a roll is deep fried or not as the descriptions sometimes say deep fried but only a part of the roll is deepfried or one of the ingredients like the shrimp. Staff was very on point however and very kind. Always topped up on water and checked if we needed anything.“

“Took my kids here for their Birthday and they had the BEST time! The Chef put on a great show for them and was very interactive. The food was amazing, even my picky eaters ate a bit of everything. My favorites were the shrimp and garlic fried rice. At the end they brought the kids huge sundaes.“

I wanted soup, she wanted sushi, and we live eastside so we didn’t want to enter town to a place with $17 dishes and tip. so this is a nice local gem. it is worth noting though: the sushi rice is not seasoned with vinegar/mirin/sugar/salt like expected— just white rice. it’s understandably labor intensive though. still tasted good.“

“This buffet was recommended to us by our uber driver. We didn't know there was a place like this in Stockton. Food is good for the price. They have a good selection of Chinese viands. The sushi boats were limited, but good. You can also order or have the sushi custom made. Servings for custom sushi are big so be mindful if you want to order full or half servings. The sashimi are not that fresh and slices are thin, but still good value for money. They also have an unlimited beverage machine and some desserts.“

“We have had several birthdays here and I am always pleased with how easy it is to make a reservation. Like most places the entire party must be present in order to be seated. However, even though three people from my party were running late, they allowed us to be seated because we agreed to put in their orders. So simple and accommodating!
