“There is just something different about small town Chinese places that can make them hidden gems. They tend to have great food for the price. They have a bit of that nostalgic feel to them as they likely haven't updated the decor in generations. They are humble and focus on the likes of their community. Full Moon is a perfect example of this. Their lunch special is a great deal. Your typical list of entrees (I got Generals Chicken) with rice or chow mein, a springroll/eggroll and a bowl of soup. All of it was very tasty and despite being a slow Sunday afternoon, tasted freshly made. The owners cook and serve and do everything. And they are super nice.
If you ever find yourself in Galt, Full Moon Palace is worth checking out!“

“Food tastes good! Service isn’t the best. A tad pricy on seafood items. Everything else is reasonably priced! Will definitely be back.“

“I love this place, first off the wor wonton soup is super good. Like maybe my new favorite, I’m really impressed. The broth is exactly what I was expecting, even better. The favor is exceptional and it’s loaded up with all the veggies meats and wontons. The wontons themselves are perfect. I might be their number one fan now. Wor wonton soup is my comfort food 🤤
Also the combo plates are really good, the chicken always has the perfect crisp, not crunchy or over crooked. I always get the combo plates but haven’t had the wor wonton soup til tonight. Don’t overlook the place, super nice people, great food and it’s affordable. Big portions.“

“This spot is truly a hidden cove. The service was phenomenal and the food was great! I got the Mongolian BBQ. The amount of options were decent. I have been to places that had more veggies to choose from but that can be overkill. They had a decent amount of relevant choices and I was satisfied. The food was delicious and the price was in alignment with the quality of the food. I will be definitely going back when I'm in the Galt area.“
“Always exceptional experience here. Best Chinese food in Sacramento! Friendly staff all around no matter who your server is. Very consistent high quality service with top notch food quality and authentic taste.
Great bar area and drink selection too!
There’s restroom inside the restaurant so no need to walk outside to the casino area.
Always accommodating for my elderly dad on a wheelchair.
Highly recommended!“

“When I moved out of state for five years Dragon Lite was the only place I thought of at least monthly. I’ve been going there for 20 years and the quality has never wavered. Lemon Chicken with extra sauce, steamed rice, and fried asparagus 10/10 you’ll never have anything better. Family owned and Operated, they only take one day off a week. It’s a quiet little hole in the wall, perfect for take out.“

“Food and service were excellent. The House Chicken was really good although it's not usually my favorite thing on the menu. The Sizzling Rice Soup was tasty as usual. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't as busy during the lunch hour as I would have expected.“

“I've lived in Lodi for most of my life and somehow never been here before. Christmas Day arrived with fevers for my children so Christmas Dinner got postponed and after calling around Wong's was the first place we found that was open. And I'm so glad they were. The food was delicious, the service was kind and quick, and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back!“

“If you want classic, no-fuss Chinese takeout in Lodi, Chop Chop is the spot.
It’s one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in town, and they’ve been serving great food for decades. Everything is consistently delicious, portions are big, and you can’t beat the prices. The fried chicken and chow mein are always my go-to.
Perfect for a quick, cheap, and satisfying meal.“

“Finally tried Dumpling House in Lodi! Went with 2 adults 1 little.
TLDR: Food is 100% worth it! This place needs to be busier!
Atmosphere: Very Quiet, only 1 other person sitting there, no takeout orders. Seating is simple, but there are a few visible storage boxes, visible from customer areas.
Service: The guy sat us right away, it did take us a few minutes to get situated because of our little guy and I had to take a work call. I think he got a little annoyed because he rolled his eyes when I told him we weren’t quite ready to order yet. During ordering everything was fine and he was very attentive whilst bringing our food. Special note: when asked if I wanted my pork buns pan fried or deep fried, he gave us 3/3 to be able to try both ways. It was perfect!
Food: Our Drinks were just water, which tasted good. Not all water is the same! We ordered the cream cheese rangoons, garlic green beans, Fried Pork Buns half deep fried half pan fried, and an order of Pork Soup Dumplings (forgot to take a picture). Food was so fresh! Everything was to die for! Rangoon was crispy gooey and paired well with the sweet and sour sauce. Garlic Green beans were so flavorful! Pan fried blistered, crispy with a good fresh crunch, and garlic out the wazoo! The fried pork buns were crispy, flavorful and full of filling! Great meat to sauce to bun ratios. And the soup dumplings were full of flavor too! They fell apart and didn’t have much broth inside but overall 8.5/10. Special note: my toddler wanted a side of rice, when I went to ask to order it, he just gave it to us. Very unexpected and great customer service!
All in all: food was great, service was good enough and it was definitely a memorable visit. Will 100% be going back!“
“Had the pork Fried Bao. Pork fried rice and chicken & vegetable dumplings. Overall it was good. No dine in. All orders are takeout thru a window at the front door. I ordered online and was very easy to navigate and choose to pay in person. The Bao was a little chewy for my taste, but I don’t like some bread products. The pork fried rice was good and moist. The dumplings were really good with lots of flavor and full or stuffing. I would recommend and it’s a local business which makes it even better. Support local business.“

“Food here is better then Sacramento #1 buffet everything is fresh! Very comfortable always greeted and accommodating and cheap! ....Worth more then the pay. They say quantity over quality! or quality over quantity! But not here everything is as you expect ( flavor and a full stomach ) nothing else can compare to Wild Chinese Buffet in Lodi !!!“

“This place is THE BEST. and the owner has this secret wine society or rich dudes so if you show up on the right night and bring in your own kick ass bottles, they’ll share with you!! Ordering from them on DoorDash is nice. Eating there is soooo much better.“
