50 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Stockton

“Wow! I travel all over the place doing what I do for work so sometimes I can’t have my “regular” spots. There isn’t much in this part of Stockton to choose from so I gave Burger IM a shot. Never had it before. First off, I was shocked there wasn’t anyone in there around 2pm. Extremely clean place with deals on menu items all over. Some exceptionally large TV’s and plenty of comfy seating and even a booth with an open end for the little ones to enjoy too! I don’t like a big lunch so when I showed up at the counter I met a very well put together (I believe owner?) who took my order and when I said “cowboy burger with no onion ring” he replied “that’s like a horse without a hoof!” I then bantered back “it’s more like a horse without a shoe, still good!” After that, I received my burger promptly but not too quick which made me feel it was actually made to order and boy was it. I only ordered the burger ala cart and after my first bite, I am a huge fan. Everything felt so fresh and the bbq sauce was not overly applied. They had a quick join option to start earning points (which I loved) and after I finished my burger in record time, I wanted another lol. HIGHLY recommend this place forsure. I will absolutely be coming back to try even more items but my standard is always a “western burger no onion” and this immediately jumped to my top 3. 9/10 establishment without a doubt. Even had a party area with pool tables and a ping pong table too! Don’t let this place stay empty, go give it a shot! Reasonably priced and way better than a carls meal for the money. “Jared Williams. DOES NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRUCK!!!! Take out | Dinner | $10–20 I order from this truck at least 3-4 times every week. But today I had the absolute worst experience I had ever had with this truck. I ordered the same thing I usually always order there. The young woman...who I rarely ever see there took my order, she even repeated it back to me...I paid what I always pay for it. Then the cook calls out a totally different order...I corrected them and said that's not what I ordered. She gave me hecka attitude when I said that. I told her that this was what I usually always order...she gave me "I don't know what you usually order," And they both reacted badly towards me. At this point I was pretty heated at the attitude I received from them, I was extremely P.O'd and walked away leaving them with the money I had already paid. I snapped a few pictures of their truck to post all over social media. I happen to work right where they always park so I'll make sure to tell everyone I see that goes there what my experience was there. I guess they got their last tip ever from me since I left without getting my money. Now I absolutely don't trust eating from there...I'm not going to eat whatever tainted food they would give me in the future. Don't EVER go to this truck. They lost a really good customer. This one is parked on Frontier Way in Stockton right off of Arch Road. UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW I went back and told them that I was going to post this all over the Internet and on social media. The girl who gave me attitude said in response.... We don't care!!! That says it all right there. NEVER GO TO THIS TRUCK!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! “Very nostalgic, I love that malted vinegar on my fish. On this day the fries were on point, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. The meal was fresh, hot and affordable. “I was raised in Atlanta and grew up with amazing southern home cooking. Besides a few places in Oakland and SF, I rarely come across soul food and it’s usually just not as good as what I grew up with. Chase’s fried fish is incredible, and I say that with all my heart! Fresh as could be, with that perfect crunchy batter, without any fishy taste and not over cooked or burnt in any way. Me and my band enjoyed every piece without a single bone to be found. I don’t say this often, but it was a 10/10!!! This is the kind of food that takes generations to perfect, Chase you are doing it right!! We were at Pear Fair in Courtland playing music at the festival and his food truck was right next to the stage. We kept wondering what was smelling so darn good. I even got to meet him and thank him personally for bringing me back home! Do yourself a favor and look out for that truck and support this business!“

If you love Southern love slow cooked cheese burgers and melts your going so love this place. Just keep in mind that "you can't rush grilled perfect" as the sigh says and trust me it's worth the 15min wait or longer depending on how much you order love & time goes to the cheese burgers here. There fries was amazing there waffle cone was 4 times the size as McDonald's and and Golden burger is better. You can call in orders here and it'll be ready when you get there. The family pack is 4 burgers, 4fryies, 4 drinks $37.99. There on door dash and grubhub as well. The lady was so nice she checked on us out side we didn't have to ask for napkins or ketchup. Food was so good I gave a $6 tip??❤️

“Usually don't do drive thru but on this day I was running behind so I was glad to find that a lot has changed through he years and even attitudes have changed very sweet young lady in the window very respectful and courteous so give it a go it's smaller then other fast food joints but I think that's why it feels like a whole different experience

Getting your food wait time can range around 4-15 mins depending on what your ordering. Never have been parked which is a plus.

This location has a lot of homeless, which can make thing awkward or scary (Rare, usually under the influence) very fast if you cant help.

The corporation should consider taking out the self serve soda fountain at least in the hood locations. I've personally witnessed people brazenly come in and fill up without paying at three different Stockton locations this past week alone! Unfair to all the honest customers......“

“This McDonald's on Center Street at Harding is notorious for being plagued with chronic issues of aggressive panhandling, various other (too many to list here) homelessness problems arising in, on and around their property that i'd like to stress through absolutely no fault of this McDonald's facility at all except for their having to happen to reside on and conduct business in an area that's not entirely looked after having been neglected for some time by the city in particular...That said, I won't hesitate to give this McDonald's location a solid well deserved 5 ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ rating as I personally have been patronizing this location for several years and almost daily now for the last several months and I've watched the Staff deal with these problems consistently, respectfully and most often times, quickly and kindly! Even maintaining the utmost professionalisim in the face of raging yelling threats and or explicit vulger comments! All staff have, maintained and continue to maintain a high level of service in spite of the daily issues, offering a smile with service and attentive to customers. I'd especially like to point out the management on site in the morning and afternoon, they are great and work exceptionally well under varying degrees of stress and pressure, and still are able to remember customers names with a smile! Great Job McDonald's persevering in an economically challenging environment and for maintaining a Gem of a management team and Staff at Center Street as I've witnessed them Shine first hand time and again!“

“I bye my Dad food after work. Went to A&W on Charter/Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Ordered, received my food and left. My Dad enjoyed the meal. When I arrived home I realized I left my Visa Card behind. When I called to inquire about my card, the Manager (I assume) told me he would hold it for me until the following day. When I went to pick up my card the doors were locked, but a nice gentleman worker throwing away boxes assisted me. When he handed my card back, it was in an envelope with my name on it and the gentleman proceeded to tell me that Manager put my card in the safe.
