Long John Silver's Reviews
I use to love Long Johns but now it's just not that good . The chicken has shrunk a lot. The coleslaw sucks now. It's dry, no flavor. And they don't serve corn on the cob anymore. The hush puppies are either soggy from the grease or they are harder than a rock. I'm done going there. The workers are rude. Standing around talking and not working. We waited 20 minutes to get our food.
Excellent food 😋 fast service.. was in and out.. order was correct. No missing food like mc Donald's or burger King
The young lady that helped me in the drive thru was so sweet and kind. The food was alright 👍

Long John Silver's is a nostalgic favorite for many, with friendly staff and a clean environment. The fish and hush puppies remain beloved by customers, and the chicken plate with crispy batter and tartar sauce is a must-try. The location may not be in the best area, but the dining area is welcoming and quiet. The fries are crispy and delicious, and the malted vinegar adds a special touch to the fish. Recently, the restaurant has switched to waffle fries, which many customers enjoy, and the food is made to order, ensuring freshness. While some found the breading on fish and shrimp to be chewy and bland, overall, the fish and chicken platter with two hush puppies and waffle fries offers a satisfying meal. The peanut butter cheesecake is also appreciated by diners. Though some note the grease in fried foods, it is expected at any fried restaurant. Overall, Long John Silver's in Stockton remains a hot, fresh, and affordable dining option that continues to stand the test of time.
