“Helped out my pal Beaver Slapnpacker get the permits he needs for his new store, Slapnpacker's Slippery Slope, right there on Pacific Avenue not far from Gian's Delicatessen. He should do a great business with that location, but he tells me it's not the location that counts, it's what you're selling that matters the most. Well, I'm not going to tell you what he's selling, but I'm sure glad about Gian's Delicatessen....WOW! What a great place for a sandwichs, they were Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
“This place rocks. They were slammed so we waited in bar for 20 mins. Great rib steak. Had spaghetti and ravioli w/ salad. Steak tasted like smoke and fire. Ravioli ?and salad bar was regularly replenished. Couldn't finish. 2/3s came home. Sis and fiance split chefs special, tri tip and chicken, they loved it. Calamaris hors d'oeuvres done ??. This place is perfect for trying something new and sharing from each others plates. Staff was hustling but still had a great sense of humor. Must come back for Sat prime rib. “I loved the food and the staff here! Everyone was so friendly and polite. The menu was varied, so everyone in the party found something to their liking. The restaurant is right on the river, so you have a beautiful view of the sunset behind mount diablo if you have supper here. Inside is strung up with colorful strands of lights that add a fun flair. A very amazing touch is the shades inside! As the sun was setting and would be piercing to the eyes, the shades lowered just enough to protect the patrons faces, then raised back up once the sun had set further. I haven't seen such a thoughtful gesture before! The food was great. I loved the garlic fries and the calzone. I'll definitely be coming back to eat here again!“
