“We tried Moonrise Pizza for the first time paasing through towards Lake Tahoe and honestly loved it. The crust was different from any pizza we’ve had — thick, airy, and crispy full of flavor — and the toppings actually tasted fresh and creative, not the usual stuff you get everywhere else. The whole place has a cool small-town vibe, super chill and family-friendly, which made it even better. Definitely worth the drive and something we’ll be coming back for again. Had a great time and spent a few moments reflecting on just why there is an Italian Benevolent Society and why it was created some 150 years ago. You don’t have to be Italian to enjoy the fun.“
