“I had high hopes for this bakery after hearing so much buzz, but while the pastries were good, they weren't as fresh as I'd hoped. The coffee was solid, though. I'll give it another shot sometime—maybe I just hit it on an off day.“

This is the most authentic Chinese bakery I ever tried. The dimsum meatballs are the best in the world! Please support this bakery. “Went here last weekend after dinner with some friends and it turned out to be a sweet little surprise. The place had a cozy vibe and smelled amazing the moment we walked in. I tried their chocolate mousse and my friend got the strawberry cheesecake — both were really good, not overly sweet which I liked. The staff were friendly and even offered some samples to try. Prices were fair for the quality too. Overall, a nice spot if you’re craving something sweet after a meal or just want a little treat.“

“We had the sweetest experience today! We called ahead hoping to get some of their amazing candy donuts, and even though they were already sold out, they went completely out of their way to make a fresh batch just for us. Not only that, they carefully packaged everything in a special box so they stayed perfect for the ride home.

That level of kindness and customer service is rare. You can really tell they care about their customers, not just the sale. And the donuts? Absolutely delicious — fresh, soft, and hands down the best candy donuts we’ve ever had.

“I have only ever had their sandwiches and Thai tea but both have been GREAT every time! When you go, especially around noon, you will be waiting because people flock there and it's for a reason. The food, at least what I've had, is really good. Sandwiches are made fresh. Fresh ingredients. Cashier has a sense of humor. They have a nice array of items to choose from and the space is kind of small but they make it work. This shop is in a little center type place with an arcade little indy shops. It's really cute actually. My coworkers and I go continuously.“

“I used to come here with my parents as a kid. I grew up in Stockton and though I currently live in Modesto every single time I'm in Stockton I stop here for a burrito and pan dulce. “Picked up a cake from Magda's Cakes for a family birthday and everyone liked it. The cake looked really nice and tasted fresh, not overly sweet which I appreciated. Frosting was smooth and had good flavor instead of that fake sugary taste some places have. Staff was polite and had the order ready on time. Prices seemed fair for the quality too. Only small thing, I wish there were a few more flavor choices that day, but what we got was great. I’d order from here again for sure.“

“I enjoyed the Thornton's Thorn coffee with oat milk. The shop smells so good, but was still tolerable for my non-coffee liking father. It is very clean and there are games and a free library to check out.

“Went to the Fruit Bowl for the very first time today. We had lunch first at their Bake Shop. It was nice and air conditioned! They make wonderful sandwiches! Spent lots on cherries, apricots, cherry pie, pumpkin bread, marble rye bread, whiskey pepper steak sauce, cherry pepper sauce, pickled beets and better than brittle candy. The place was clean. They had really cute shopping baskets. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. Will be back there again. Highly recommend to all!!“

“We were so excited to discover that Sunset Sweets Delta carries Gunther’s ice cream right here in Stockton! My family used to make trips all the way to Sacramento just to get it, so finding rotating Gunther’s flavors locally was such a treat — and it tastes just as amazing as it does at the original spot.

They also serve HUGE shaved ice, and adding condensed milk is absolutely a bonus. Such a perfect refreshing treat, especially before taking a walk by the water. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming too — they even kindly told us to grab as many paper towels as we needed for our littles lol. Definitely a fun family stop and you know we've already been back multiple times!“

“I am so thankful i chose Simply Tasty Treats for my son’s 1st bday party. Manisha exceeded my expectations. She was professional and kind always. I sent her a picture of what i was looking for and she went above and beyond. When i saw the cake I cried it was so beautiful. The cupcakes were beautiful. They tasted amazing. Thank you a thousand times over. She is also doing my mate’s retirement party cakes and cupcakes. I will hire her in a heartbeat.“

My only gripe was the very small portion of turkey on the sandwiches, wish there was double the amount because the turkey didn't cover the sandwich at all, seemed like a kid's portion to me.
