“Update to previous review. The owner reached out to me both on my post and privately. She was very polite and apologetic. I went into the bakery on 3/20 and instead of taking advantage of a situation, I chose to purchase a cannoli and 6 cupcakes to take home to my family. We were all very pleased with the flavors and quality of ingredients. The staff while in the bakery were very busy but still very courteous and helpful! My wedding cake experience definitely will not prevent me from patronizing this bakery for further desires.“
“Recently stopped in as my family and I were in the area. I ordered an iced americano and a bear claw. I love my coffee fresh and bold and my cup did not disappoint. The claw was fresh and tasted amazing. As for the atmosphere, the place gave me that Midwest homey vibe and spacious, which we found to be really comfortable. I didn’t realize that they sold breakfast until it was pointed out to me as we were leaving. I’ll have to stop by to try that in the future.“

“Ok so I was done fishing in the California Delta and I was craving something cafe-bakerish. So Google popped up Ruby's, I got my directions and sped over there. As soon as you walk in the door, you say to yourself now this is the definition of Cafe-Bakerish LOL.Loads of fresh baked pastries on display - people inside are buzzing - smell of coffee in the air - this is the spot even before I tried anything. With so many options I chose the ham and cheese croissant, a blueberry scone (I was hungry) and of course cafe latte.The croissant was amazing - the scone was good and the latte was perfect. Always remember to get the latte for here it tastes so much better than in those to go cups.So do I recommend Ruby's - heck yeah I do, I just wish I was in the area more often because I would be a regular. Please do not hesitate when this place pops up in your Google search, you will not be disappointed.“
“Ordered two cakes (1 was a smash cake) for my son’s first birthday party a few months ago. They’re very nice and customer service was great. They reached out to me and gave me ideas for cake decoration. I think they did a great job and looked like the example pictures. Cake was delicious. Recommend their tres leches cake.“
“I live in Sacramento, but come to the Elk Grove area often and have tried a few different donut shops, but there haven't really been any that have stood out...until Elk Grove Donuts! My daughter and I like to pick up donuts when we are headed over to see my parents. She loves their glazed donuts and glazed donut holes, and I am obsessed with their maple old fashioned donuts! It doesn't matter if it's a weekday or a weekend, they are usually always busy. If you go into the store, you will most likely be waiting in a line, but I promise you, it's worth the wait! You can also place an order on DoorDash, which we will occasionally do. However, if the store is very busy, they may not accept the order. Either way, if you're in the area, give them a try - they also have breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and other drinks!“

“I love ya Crumbl but there's too many cookies n cream cookies. Almost every week we see a different variation of it. Then there are some cookies you see over and over again, while others don't show back up for months or years. I do love many flavors, I just think there's some room for improvement.“
“This is by far the most amazing flavorful and moist cake. This bakery went above and beyond in bringing my request for a replication on my parent's wedding cake design and flavors come to life and matched as close to their original wedding, it was spot on for their 50th wedding anniversary (6/23/2023) we celebrated on 6/24/2023. My parents couldn't be more thrilled when I surprised them with their replicated wedding cake. My dad's best man said eating the cake took him back 50 years to my parent's wedding day and gave him happy tears. Thank you for making this a beautiful special 50th wedding anniversary gift possible and taking my request last minute a few days before their anniversary. My dad still talks about his cake surprise and how much it meant to them.“
“Primo’s Bakery is a hidden gem in the tiny town of Thornton! Locally owned and off the beaten path, they serve authentic traditional pan dulces of all kinds. Dozens of different varieties! I wish I could list them out, but I just don’t know enough about them… all I know is that they’re delicious and freshly made! The delicious aroma of freshly baked goodies is so strong once you walk in, you just want to try it all. Grab a cafeteria tray and some tongs and start filling it up! We really like the churros, donuts, bolillos (torpedo shaped white bread roll that we use for sandwiches), and always try a few new things. They package them in both pink boxes and the old, thin plastic grocery bags depending on what you buy. The staff is helpful, so feel free to ask questions! Primo’s takes both cash and card. We recommend getting there early on weekends, because they do sell out of their customer favorites. I wish I had pictures of this adorable bakery… but I’m always so focused on the food! ?Parking: The lot is very small, but there are plenty of places to park on the street.Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old twins love all of the donuts and cookies. They always try something new, too!“
“Such a cute little cookie store. Stopped here when we were in town for a baby shower. We tried a variety of their cookies. The snickerdoodle was everyone's favorite. The service was great.. the lady working the counter was friendly and knowledgeable in helping us pick out which cookie varieties to try.“
