Not only did they create an amazing German chocolate cake, and PB cupcakes...they also delivered for free. The process of ordering was simple and we were also able to pay over the phone. “I always love going to the shop, it is an adventure. I find something new everytime I go in, from the amazing turnovers, PIES, and great cookies.

The homemade jams are one of my favorites (think like Grandma made) and they change with the seasons.

IMPORTANT....if you want something specific around a holiday.....ORDER ahead ... don't expect to walk in and get exactly what you want (unless it is cookies). The staff is super sweet and helpful.“

“Primo’s Bakery is a hidden gem in the tiny town of Thornton! Locally owned and off the beaten path, they serve authentic traditional pan dulces of all kinds. Dozens of different varieties! I wish I could list them out, but I just don’t know enough about them… all I know is that they’re delicious and freshly made! The delicious aroma of freshly baked goodies is so strong once you walk in, you just want to try it all. Grab a cafeteria tray and some tongs and start filling it up! We really like the churros, donuts, bolillos (torpedo shaped white bread roll that we use for sandwiches), and always try a few new things. They package them in both pink boxes and the old, thin plastic grocery bags depending on what you buy. The staff is helpful, so feel free to ask questions! Primo’s takes both cash and card. We recommend getting there early on weekends, because they do sell out of their customer favorites. I wish I had pictures of this adorable bakery… but I’m always so focused on the food! ?

Parking: The lot is very small, but there are plenty of places to park on the street.

Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old twins love all of the donuts and cookies. They always try something new, too!“
