Doghouse Bakery and more offers a very pleasant time with delicious food and dessert. The owner is so nice and will make a Black Berry Cobler that is not even on the menu. The bakery is highly recommended by guests.
Customers came for a really good muffin and found the best reviews on Google. A lemon blueberry scone and a hot 16 oz caramel machiatto coffee were so good. The coffee made one wish they had ordered the 24 oz. A lemon muffin and an iced caramel machiatto coffee were loved too. It is now considered the pastry spot, and a birthday cake is wanted from here too. Ten stars would be given if Google would let them.
The bakery is loved, and the current owner, a former Mel’s employee, took over the business. Guests try to go every Friday for goodies. The beautiful cookie bouquets and other delicious items suggested for a memorial service were spectacular and delicious. The bakery is clean and well kept. Every time the bakery door is walked in, the first thing is a hello and hold on please so hands can be washed. It is sad that people try and ruin a business’s reputation because of insecurity or animosity. The loss of this business to the community of Lodi is absolutely desolate.
