“El Jardin in Turlock is truly a gem that never disappoints! The ambiance is enchanting, featuring charming houses transformed into a delightful restaurant, with stunning flowers adorning the patio and walkways. The food is consistently delicious, and the friendly staff make every visit special. This spot has become a favorite of mine, and I’ve introduced many friends to its hidden charm.
I usually order the chicken fajitas, paired with a refreshing water. Every time, the meal is cooked to perfection, making it a perfect choice after indulging in their amazing chips, salsa, and bean dip. The salsa here is my absolute favorite—it's a must-try! I’ve spent many memorable Mother’s Days at El Jardin, and each visit just reaffirms why this place holds a special place in my heart. Highly recommend!“

“This taco truck is consistently good! I was looking for a new go to spot in town that wasn’t a sit down restaurant and this taco truck is the perfect remedy! I’ve been here 3-4 times now and each time the food has been great, they provide extra salsa, limes, radish, onion and basically the sides you would expect with your meal. Food comes out fresh and hot. Icing on the cake is the staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend and will be returning.“

“Wow! Food is fresh , tasty & DELICIOUS!!!! I highly recommend!!!! Love Love this place! And everyone is so friendly!5 Stars!!!“
“I really don't want to write this review because i know what will happen so here is my story...I passed this taco truck on my way to pick up vax for my cattle at Lander's Veterinary Clinic a week ago. I was curious about the taco truck and asked the folx working at the vet clinic if they recommended the truck's food. They raved about it. Since I had cash I made the decision to stop on my way back home to buy some tacos and put them to the test...I'm kinda of a food snob. Here is what I ordered: (2) carne asada tacos, (2) al pastor, (1) lengua taco, and a (1) tripas taco to try out. I doubted they could do better than the taco places I grew up by in L.A..OMG! Shut the Front Door!!The tacos were so good that on my way back home to Oakdale, I ate most of the tacos. My husband is lucky he had two tacos leftover for his dinner. These were even better than any tacos I've had in SoCal!!It gets busy during lunch time so take a longer lunchbreak or get there early. I'm heading back soon and taking my boss and a few colleagues with me.Cash only business. Covered benches, no bathrooms, bring your baby wipes if you eat there.“

“I just order a Asada taco and a supreme Asada burrito. By far one of the best if not the best taco spot in the Central Valley. Their prices are cheap and they are super friendly but most importantly the food was so delicious and complex in flavor super impressed“

“This place is so, so good! Very authentic, at least from what I remember as a child in Mexico, watching and tasting the yummy pork softly boiling in a cauldron of lard. ☺️ Fresh tender sheets of cueritos come out first, then the buche, and finally the carnitas! THIS place is JUST like that- in taste -and I love it!! Service is super. The couple that owns it is very friendly. They answered all our questions (husband is on a strict diet; minding his macros n’ all) and made suggestions on menu items. Everything we’ve ordered has been amazing. We highly recommend this eatery to all our friends.“

“We went as a group of 3.
We walked up to see the menu. Right away, a worker from the kitchen stopped her task to help take our order.
Food was brought to our table quickly.
A burrito, tacos, and a torta.
I went over to the salsa counter, which was squeaky clean (other places, not so much)
And picked up 1 of each.
The food itself was pretty bland.
Not bad tasting, just lacking flavor.
Every other category is out of the park.
I would say tweak the recipe and you’ll have a great business, but people were pouring in already.
Soo, maybe it’s just my group’s tastebuds?“

“My mother likes chilli rellenos, this is the place she picked for me to take her on her birthday. I, however, don't care so much for Mexican food. I shamelessly ordered a cheeseburger from the kids menu. It was a better burger than I generally get at a Mexican restaurant. I'd say it tasted more like a regular burger than a Mexican restaurant burger. I may get adventurous & try their tacos sometime. Aside from the food being good, service was...well, our party of 3 was all the customers while we were there. The waitress could've popped by for refills a bit more frequently, but she was doing great in every other respect. It may seem backwards, but I think we'd have had more attention if it was busier, just from the waitress passing by more often.
Anyway, I'm told it's good Mexican food. I have no complaints though I don't eat much authentic Mexican food. Service was pleasant though understandably somewhat infrequent with so few customers (late lunch/early dinner weekday). Good for casual dining. Would go again.“
“Really smart and nice hard-working people who are super communicative and respectful“

“Best chile verde quesadillas ever !Order 2 of the small ones and you have to eat them there so they stay crispy. If you have to get an order to go get the burrito supreme with the Chile Verde. They can travel 20 minutes and still be warm and delicious.“
“Best burritos and love that you get grilled onions with it so yummy. My favorite taco truck in town!“
“Food here is delicious ! Big portions! One night I got a carne asada plate and my girlfriend got super nachos - we were so stuffed after but wanted to keep eating cuz it was so good! The staff treated us very nice , it was our first time and we’ll definitely be coming back to try “
“There's a lot of places you COULD eat at the fleamarket on Tuesdays. There's a variety of different types of food, from many different ethnicities which compose the populace of the area.... But man, you GOTTA give these guys a try. Truly. The food is absolutely spectacular. Small dishes, such as their namesake are easily handled and, in this humble reporters opinion, just a hands down flat out knockout spot to grab a bit of grub. The owners are very friendly, bilingual, and treat their customers well, from service (which, especially for me, as a fellow vendor who is busy with the work inherent in making a profit at the salesyard and truly doesn't have much of an interval open during the majority of the day to peruse the promenade, as it were, in order to be fed and still get back to my spot so as to make some "bread" for myself without losing too much time attending the selling spot. I've had a few times now since I've been able to talk to the owners where I may not even need to order, simply talking with the chef beforehand while he sets up the tables and pays attention to the details of presentation and preparation, a slow bit of the day for him but a rush for my sales, and voilà, along about the mid day shift in the crowds composition between buyers in the AM and eaters in the PM, I will suddenly hear a friendly greeting of "Hey, Amigo." only to find that I've being GIVEN a substantial amount of delicious stuff along with the peppers the chile as well as all the other accoutrements, oftentimes without any idea that they were actually treating me to a meal, gratis.) So yeah they got service down no problem. They're prompt too when you order the food. It's often not long before you are already digging in... even when it's busy. And as I said before, there's a variety of choices for a bite, but I'm not only recommending this place, but am also VERY grateful for the help of a meal for a man such as myself, eeking out a living from the margins of society. Every little bit helps. We're all in this together after all. So support their venture if you can. It's worth the investment. Trust me.✌?“

“they have really good burritos de asada.“
“Bought: 3 tacos asada, no onions, no cilantro (yes, I know... blasphemy!) Short Version: "Par" tacos that improved to "good" after applying lemon, for good price. Long Review: Tortillas on the tacos are on the smaller side of normal, doubled up as usual, and has a corn-ier flavor. Meat is finely chopped, and tastes alright on its own, with occasional chunks of fat blended in (which could be a plus or a minus, depending on your tastes. See picture). Sauce on its own is alright, and moderately spicey. The portion is a dollup in the middle (see picture). I feel like the tacos with more sauce were better, so I'm inclined to suggest to the owner to slightly increase the amount on the tacos. However, it would also make them a bit spicier, so might turn off more sensitive customers. (Keep in mind, this is without cilantro or onions) On my first taco, I tried it unaltered and had nothing particularly positive or negative to say. It was ok, if a bit on the bland side for what I would expect. For my second taco, I grabbed a slightly saucier one and this time generously applied lemon to it. This taco was much better, really livened it up. I still am not sure I would put it at the best of the best, but for $1.50, I was pretty happy. For the third, I added the jalapeno into the mix, and liked the additional kick, but it had less of the lemon juice (used much on #2) and salsa, and that flavor didn't come out quite as much. Overall, about even with #2. Two lemons would have been a good idea. Service was part, although truck operator (owner?) acted a little odd (anxious? Confused? Suspicious?) About me taking pictures and such. Seemed ok after I explained it was for Google. I didn't use the radishes. No comment on any other menu items (burritos, quesadillas, etc), because I didn't buy them.“

“The food is always amazing!! Been coming here for years. Love the fact that the food has never changed and the taste. The only thing is the waitresses they have, so many of them yet, they lack to come to the table and ask to check on there customers. I could see them all bunched up talking about there personal stuff. And it wasn’t one or two times. The customer service is poor. But the food is authentic and amazing! Props for the owner and cooks!“
