“First time eating here, I would recommend it. Everything was great! Our group had burritos 🌯 and tacos🌮 and both were very good. The man who took our order was friendly & even had a lil' treat for us to try, a vampiro, it was very good! The prices were also very good. I like the way the truck is painted, it is noticeable. “Listen, I am picky when it comes to Mexican food. My grandma‘s set the bar high. And there are two specific dishes that I always order at a new restaurant, and that is Caldo de Res and Chile Rellenos…these are basic dishes but I’m beyond snobby when it comes to them. If they mess these up then I will never go back. Lupita’s Homestyle Cocina exceeded my expectations. The chile relleno was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Lupitas only cooks caldo de res on Thursdays and it just so happened to be a Thursday when I ordered. The Caldo de Res tasted like home. I know she used the beef bones to make the broth because you can taste the oils. It was cooked to perfection with big chopped vegetables and nice sized chunks of beef. We also ordered the pick 3 and got Chile relleno, chicken enchilada, and a chicken chimichanga. It came with a nice sized helping of beans and rice. I got a monster burrito with beef and it was no joke! HUGE burrito and it had everything I wanted in a burrito (beef, whole beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The sour cream was on the side and it was served with your choice of red or green sauce over it. Bomb. I got a flan for desert and oh my goodness. I seriously didn’t expect much because the food was good enough. But dang, that flan was spectacular. The perfect consistency and the Carmel top of the flan was so creamy and smooth. It didn’t have that burnt taste that a lot of flans have. All in all, I was impressed by every dish. I would say that the refried beans were a bit salty, but the Mexican rice more than made up for that. I took time to write this because it deserves praise and hopefully gains more business as its location is tucked away behind the KFC on Oakdale road.“

“I thought that the store was one of those run down stores, but was really delighted to try it out! $2.50 for a jelly-filled donut, which is the highest price of any single donut, was really worth it for my tight budget, even as a brief trip! If you need a quick and cheap breakfast, a drink and donut for around $5.00 is what to expect here! If someone of this store notices though, I could also prep up a new graphic icon for Salida Donuts! Just let me know. 😉“

“The food is delicious . I eat here at least 1- 2 times a week.
The menu has a variety of Authentic Mexican food prepared by Jose & Lupe is always available to take your order. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend La Hacenda . Especially if you are craving some delicious menudo on a week day.

Dietary restrictions: If you're allergic to dairy products let Lupe know and you can order with no cheese or sour cream

Parking: I haven't had a problem with parking

“My nephew loves the super carnitas burrito so I come here often for him. I called them at 8:58pm and without hesitation she took my order and said they would stay open waiting for me to arrive. They left all of the condiments out, and were very friendly. Most places close minutes earlier and are disgruntled if you come in right before they close but this establishment was very accommodating.“
